Rate this book
Are you tired of letting circumstances rule your life and steal your peace? What does it look like to grow in spiritual maturity? Are you interested in a new technique to read and study God’s Word in a group or on your own?

Struggles with finances, health, family relationships, hopelessness, and temptation can easily rule your life. The Bible is filled with stories of people sinking in their circumstances. However, people who responded to God’s promises instead of their circumstances were known as people of faith. Faith is the choice to respond to God’s promises rather than to circumstances. The Bible is rich with God’s promises for your life! This book will guide your group to dig deeper in study and experience His promises. You will be challenged to read Scripture with a fresh approach and will learn a new way to encounter the Bible so that you may grow to spiritual maturity.

Power Up Your Bible Study

I was first introduced to the Promise Principle through a small group of men at my church. I can honestly say that studying the bible with these methods has greatly influenced my understanding of the Word as well as taken my walk to the next level. This book is a must read for anyone who wants to get more from the Bible.

“We do not live our lives based on circumstances, we live our lives based on principles.”

God’s promises are true, this book will help you learn how to discover and apply His promises to your life.

I received this book FREE from the author, publisher, distributor, or other source. My only obligation is to provide a fair and honest review.

A simple and easy book to read and apply. Here are some of my key takeaways:

- Don't ask God for what He has already promised you in His word, instead thank Him and receive His promise.

- Study God's word for yourself and also with others.

- Memorize and meditate on God's word.

Bible study techniques for leadership

Excellent points that gives the honor to the holy spirit and practical applications for how to conduct a meeting. Be aware that unfortunately this format is not compatible with the kindle Paperwhite.

As someone struggling to “find a topic” to start my own bible study, I found this book to be very refreshing, encouraging and inspiring. I am excited to spend more time in God’s Word discovering His promises and less time looking for the “right” guided study.

This has fundamentally changed the way I read the Bible. I share the approach with high school students who can learn to read and understand the bible for themselves and lean on God's promises.

Good book, made me think. Some of the things Hunter mentioned are a bit too theologically left than I am prone to. In all, good book for understanding how we should view the promises of God.

This book is an excellent guide for anyone who wants to grow and deepen their connection with the Word. I would give it to anyone who was just starting out in their faith or anyone who has felt themselves becoming stale in their faith over the years. It has freshened Bible reading for me, bringing a greater awareness of the power of meditating on what I read. His illustration of a "two hand grip" on the Bible was memorable and helpful. I know this man's family and have great respect for him. He does hard things well.
