Wonderful second book for the Key West Escape Series, just as good as the first and then some. I love this book for everything listed and for the wonderful characters and their stories.

Molly MacBain has a lot on her plate. She is a single mother to a teenager who is secretive and showing she independence at just to wrong time for Molly, but when is it ever going to be a good time for that! Molly owns a small bookstore in Key West, sings at Dixie's and makes ends meet, but with little left over. When she finds out the Cheyenne has secretly been in contact with her father, Trevor, Molly fears that a custody battle she can't afford may not be to far off. Her cup is close to overflow and then she finds out her best friend, Sophie, is keeping a secret from her. Sophie's soon to be brother-in-law is Molly's personal fantasy, country music superstar Anders Ostergaard. Blown away doesn't even begin to cover her reaction on meeting Anders.

Anders has come to Key West to lay low after a scandal and to attend his brother Jimmy's wedding.  This is the second book in the Key West Escape Series. The story starts off with Sophie and Jimmy's wedding .Anders, the celebrity singer comes to Key West for his brother's wedding. Molly Macbain is the bride's best friend, she is also a country singer and has a huge crush on Anders. When Molly come face to face with Anders,her UAC (Unattainable crush), she is flustered and nervous. When sparks begin to fly between them, Molly resists as she doesn't want to be "another notch on his bedpost".When Molly's daughter Cheyenne gets into trouble, Anders helps. They set out to find Cheyenne together, and realise that they enjoy  each other's company.

When you read too many romance stories , you know the plot by heart even before you start. This was a cute story, with the usual plot, though it had a twist in the end ,it didn't surprise me much. It is a fast paced book,and has action and romance.Anders was the rich handsome rake , a celebrity country singer. Molly , the single parent , trying hard to make ends meet. They meet and chemistry does the rest. Though i didn't read the first book in the series , i didn't feel lost , this can be read as a standalone,but the ending does make you want to read the next book. My favourite character was Molly

Again, I did not really know that this was the second book in a series. It did say it but I don't know..

Sooo, this book was awesome. I thought it would be a fluffy romance read, and it started like that. And then halfway through, some things happened and it was an action-packed full adrenaline read. Man, I did not see that coming! So, I was laying in bed, totally shipping the hell out of the main characters when some things happened. And then I laid in bed until I was able to move and to do stuff because I just wanted to read.

God, I loved the characters. I am a sucker for books with royals and celebrities. This book had the last one and I loved it. The book was also longer then I expected. I just loved it, go read it!

And I'm again going to read the other books in this series because this one ended with a major cliff-hanger.

Bahama mama is the second book from the Key West Escape, and we find ourselves with two very likeable characters in very likeable situations.

The book starts of like any other romance novel, I don't have anything against them (fyi), but half way through the book come the surprises. Turn of events that have you gripping the edge of your seat. You are pretty sure you know what's going to happen when bam! you're wrong!!!

I really liked Rum Runner (the first book), and I was pretty confident I would like this one to, but it actually surpassed my expectations.

The down side of the book for me is the cliffhanger!!! I hate cliffhangers! , the upside for Tricia Leedom is that I will definitely buy the next book.

Be WARNED!!! You might end up reading the book in one seating, so be prepared to has an all nighter!!!!

Bahama Mama is my first read from Tricia Leedom, and omg what a page turner!

Bahama Mama has everything you need to keep you glued to the story. It was sexy, funny and most definitely suspenseful and a whole lot more.
I loved Molly, single mom that has her hands full with her teenage daughter and to many problems that don’t seem to stop piling up. I connected with her right from the start.
Anders Ostergaard is a country superstar trying stay on the down low and late his latest scandal blow over. At first I thought he was going to be the typical “I’m a Star” kinda person, but totally fell for him and his charm.
What could possibly happen at a wedding the Keys? A lot more then one would think.

I loved Molly and Anders! The connection between these two was apparent right from the start. And Molly with her sassy self was too damn funny!
My favorite thing about this book was how it made me laugh and had me glued to my seat waiting to see what happened next. One minute you think you know who was behind everything and then next you had no clue. Love a good suspenseful read and I definitely got that with Bahama Mama.
Tricia Leedom has gained another fan and I will be one clicking book one, yes it can be read as a stand-alone. Can’t wait to see what’s next!!

Yep, one of those.... One of those books that keep you up at night even though you are really tired but, well, one more chapter. Just one more ...till the end. At 2 am.
I didn't know the first book in this series and expected nothing but a nice romance. What I got was so much more. I got a story that kept me up, turning the pages, reading on and on, shedding some tears when finally...well, ...finally...and I just couldn't put it down. It was thrilling and captivating, it was romantic and it kept me breathlessly following my hero and my heroine from page to page, and, yes, from chapter to chapter.
I knew or at least thought I knew who was behind the worst of the problems but still...it remained gripping and full of suspense .
Wonderful characters, a gripping story and all in all a book that kept me up at night. And guess what I did first thing when I had finished it? I went back online and bought the first book in the series. And now guess again who is in for another short night......(and it is sooooo worth it!)

Overall, I really enjoyed this tropical romance for the fun, light read that it was. Molly and Anders have an amazing relationship - when he isn't being a total jerk to her. The several instances when he was a complete loser really detracted from most of the rest of the good stuff. Also, the entire subplot involving Cheyenne witnessing the murder and everything associated with that is totally ludicrous. But if you can suspend your disbelief for long enough, it makes for a pretty entertaining story. My favorite character has to be Obie, even though he had a relatively small role in the overall tale; and I was very happy to watch him blossom as he did. In fact, pretty much everything turned out good in the end, which was definitely a plus.

Bahamas Mama is a delightful read. It has a mixture of comedy, romance, mystery and action. The heroine, Molly McBain, is a feisty redhead, who also serves as the comedy relief throughout the book. The hero, Anders Oystergard, is a famous country singer whom Molly has had a crush on for years. Molly, also a country singer, even opened a concert for Anders once although they never met. Due to various circumstances Molly had to give up her dreams and her music career. She is now a broke single mother barely getting by. But she has a great group of friends who are also somewhat eccentric. The characters are well developed and really make the book a standout.
Author Trisha Leedom has the gift of writing very descriptive scenes. Key West, Florida, seems to be a character in and of itself.
My only complaint is two of the character traits given to Molly. They are meant to add to the comedic aura of the Molly but I found them annoying.
This book is part of a series but can be read as a stand-alone and it has a HEA! (I had not read the first book and I didn’t feel like I missed anything.)

Another great read! Book 2 didn’t disappoint and was a little better than the first in the series. These books read great together and you get to keep up with the character’s from the first book.

The characters in book two, or rather, the new characters, were a delight to read and all characters were well written. They were well developed and easy to understand and relate to.

The story-line was great. It was intriguing and attention grabbing. It was sizzling and frustrating. It wasn’t a let-down and it wasn’t a struggle to read. My attention was held from page one to the last page. I wanted to read it, it didn’t feel forced.

Details were right on. Descriptions made visualizing the book very simple. It made me want to go on vacation!

I really enjoyed the story line and the carry-over from book one. I would definitely recommend this story! Well done!

This is the story of Molly McBain who has had a crush on her bosses brother for a while now and when he attends his brothers wedding Molly goes all teenage fan like.
Anders Ostergaard has come into town to attend his brothers wedding and lay low, but when he meets Molly first off he thinks she is just some silly fan, but at the wedding with Anders being his brothers best man and Molly being the matron of honor, sparks fly.
There is a lot of suspense and twists in this story where they seem to have got themselves in a bit of trouble and are running for their lives. But the passion between them is still outstanding.
Although this can be read as a standalone, it is recommended to read Rum Runner first just to get a bit of back ground of the characters that we revisit.

I enjoyed Rum Runner, and was looking forward to this, the second in the series.  And I came to it with high expectations which were, for the most part, met.

Once again, the author has produced a character driven storyline, with good pacing and a strong plot.

Molly and Anders are complex, fun and frustrating characters to follow.  Molly is a strong, independent female, and Anders is, frankly, a bit of an ass in some of his interactions with her.  But I still liked both of them

The suspense thread, the ongoing threat and the romance element all came together to product another winning combo.  

Well worth a look.

Anders & Molly both knee deep in memories and trouble what a refreshing romantic suspense story. This is book two of the Key West Escape Series and is just as great as book one with romance and suspense from start to finish. Will be waiting anxiously for book 3 to see the gang from Dixie's bar Jimmy Panama & Sophie, Oscar & Sue, the Ever After Book Shoppe will Molly keep the book shop, will April stay as manager will she have a boy or girl. I loved Bahama Mama! Molly is one of my favorite characters ever! She is relatable, inspiring and absolutely hilarious. Her story is moving and sometimes scary, but she is as tough as she is adorable and nothing knocks her down...except maybe a superstar named Anders who steps right out of her dreams and into her ordinary life. This book will thrill you in more ways than one. It’s a perfect summer read and although it can be read as a stand-alone it ties in wonderful with book one, Rum Runner.

I didn't think it was possible for me to love the sequel more than I did the first book (because I SERIOUSLY LOVE Rum Runner), but Leedom has done it again - and dare I say, even better! Her characters are so rich and entertaining and her story is one that you want to join in so that you too can go for a wild ride! I read it in one day - YES ONE DAY! And I think I'm gearing up to read it again because it was THAT good.

Escape Series

I found the first book and it was love at first page. I couldn't put the book down and after I finished I bought the second one in the series. The book has great characters and it really sets you up for the continuation. I also love that it's set in Key West and reading about some of the locations brings me right into the story and remembering my time I spent there. I can't wait for book 3. I was disappointed to see it's not till 2019!!!

Bahama Mama focuses on Molly and Anders. Anders is Jimmy's older brother, whom we met in the previous book.

Molly's daughter witnessed a murder and got caught up trying to escape from the scene. Molly needed to help her daughter out and Anders decided to help her out. They spent so much time together things started to heat up between them.

Once again this book was full of adventures that will keep you on the edge of your seat, with the added bonus of steamy scenes. Loved it!

I absolutely loved book one and am struggling to put book 3 down but this story just didn’t do it for me. I think it’s well written but I just couldn’t connect with the two main characters and struggled to put them together - making the chemistry quite fake for me. However, I loved the little glimpses we got of Jonas and book 3, well let’s just say I am loving it - maybe even more than I loved book 1, but book 2 just didn’t do it for me.

This book was well-written and I liked the heroine for the most part. The hero was a huge jerk several times and they both did stupid things which endangered others and themselves, especially during the suspense part. Overall, the plot was unbelievable but still a pretty fun read.
I’m looking forward to Jonas’s story. Books with famous musicians are not my favorites.
