For starters...WOW!!! I think this was my fav of this series. I was on the edge of my seat for parts of it. Had my hand over my mouth saying, "oh no, how are they all going to get out of this one"?

The story actually takes place in two different settings...Alaska, at the resort and in Argentina, on Dria & Rafe's island. Jon is left in charge of the resort with a bunch of weres coming for a big hunt. Dria, Rafe, Drew, Bob, Tommy & Chelly all head to the island. That's when the s*** hits the fan in both locations. Dria & Rafe go to the big Tribunal party and they get into a very bad situation. Jon is faced with someone gunning (literally) for the wolves. This was by far the most exciting book in the series And I just wasn't able to put it down. In the end true love wins out, but does still leaves some things hanging to be dealt with in the next book.

Don't worry though there is plenty of hot steamy love scenes with several loving couples, but also tons of suspense, plus some fun as well!!

Don't forget to read the short story called Death Times Two (about Asa)!!

I so love this wonderful new vampire series!!

I have a serious case of crazy eyes after reading this. Good crazy eyes. The type that are DYING to move onto the next book or novella or DEAR GAWD ANYTHING I JUST WANT MORE AND I'M NOT GOING TO USE PUNCTUATION OR UN-LOCK THE CAPS LOCK UNTIL I GET IT!

*ahem* Sorry about that. I got a little emotional there. For the record, since I have #3.5 sitting on my Kindle, I've decided to use both punctuation and regular typing for the remainder of this review. You're welcome.

So. Some stuff happens here. Kinda big stuff. Brutal, even. All that intrigue and potential backstabbing and those uppity Tribunal folk... well, things happen. THINGS. It was GLORIOUS.

We got some answers. We got more questions. We got to see different sides of the members of our favorite seethe. Jon and the wolves have to deal with problems back at the homestead while Vivian and Rafe are walking on the dangerous side down in Argentina.

I'm really digging this series. I know it was hard to tell from that first paragraph but I just wanted to lay it out there. Vivian's compatriots are dangerous and sexy and they do what they need to do to get the job done.

I'm down with that!

As with the other two books I continued to enjoy this story. This was also told from different points of view of each of the main characters. Unlike in the second book where the story was passed off to each person seamlessly... This was a little different because the group was in two different locations. This made for quite a few cliffhangers and it urged me on to not want to stop reading so that I could get back to the cliffhanger scene to see what was happening. I do not find this type of storytelling confusing and had no trouble keeping up with who's head we are in at that moment. I will be on the lookout for any future books in this series.

Once again, we join the owners of the exclusive Alaskan resort, The V.V. Inn, Vivian and Rafe as they and their staff get themselves into dangerous adventures and heart stopping romantic escapades. This time around, Vivian and Rafe are heading to Argentina in advance of this year’s Tribunal gathering, in hopes of figuring out exactly how much the leaders know of Vivian’s abilities.

Travelling along with them is Drew, a 150 year vampire and new to Vivian’s seethe, his human girlfriend Chelly, the newly turned vampire chef Paul, ground crew member Bob, and Aussie Tom. They have left Vivian’s werewolf servant Jonathan to run things at the inn, where they are expecting a party of werewolves to do some off season big game hunting. Helping Jon at the Inn is security chief, undead ex-military vet Asa, and newly turned werewolves, Asa’s brother Eric, and Eric’s best friend Pat.

What starts out as a regular hunting visit by Jon’s ex-pack, soon turns totally lethal, and in order to keep everyone safe, Jon will have to tap into all his alpha abilities and Asa will have to step up as a military strategist. Between the two of them, they will have their hands full with psychotic werewolves, randy shifters, and an unknown enemy out to get them all.

Meanwhile, back in Argentina, Vivian, Rafe and company have their own set of problems. The staff at Vivian’s island getaway is acting strange, members of the Tribunal are causing Vivian anxiety, and Rafe will soon learn exactly what he will do to protect the one woman who he loves more than life itself. Welcome to the world of vampires and werewolves with all the politics, intrigue and erotic adventures that go along with them.

Ms. Ellison has once again given us a great paranormal/murder mystery/erotic love story that we can sink our teeth into, really get our blood boiling and our hearts racing. Written alternately between Vivian, Drew, Asa, Jon, Paul and Rafe’s point of view, Ms. Ellison brilliantly takes us into a world of vampire politics, werewolf pack hierarchy and all the intrigue, violence, laughs and romance that goes along with it.

If not written well, a reader can get lost switching between so many points of view but Ms. Ellison is becoming such a master at this, that not only is it not confusing, it seems the only way the story should be told. Each character tells part of the story, each leading to the next and each giving us a different look at how everyone interacts with each other. While each character has their story to tell, to me, this book was all about Rafe. Before we’ve seen Rafe as just Vivian’s mild mannered husband, the man who keeps her sane and helps her run her little empire, now we see a different side to him. Oh, but Rafe is so much more than the man behind the power, he may have actually been the stronger one in this relationship all along.

There is so much going on in this book, that it is impossible to fit it into one little review and I won’t even attempt to try to do so. This is a darker book than the first two and, in my opinion, a little more erotic as well. Each character has to dig deep down into themselves to discover if they have what it takes to overcome the obstacles thrown at them and all find out just how strong they are. The dark moments are broken up with some truly sensual, steamy love scenes and a few laughs to lighten up the mood.

While you don’t have to have read the first two books to follow this one, it would certainly help to understand the dynamics of the characters. There is some pretty intense violence that might make some readers cringe but it all lends to the flow of the story and I can’t imagine the book without those scenes. There are also some pretty explicit love scenes, not porn, but explicit enough that it might require you to have a cold beverage and a warm companion close by.

I can’t imagine what Ms. Ellison has in store for us in the future for Vivian, Rafe and the staff of the V.V. Inn but I can say whatever it is, I can’t wait to find out.

Book 3 finds our super-vamp, Dria, and her sexy as sin hubby, Rafe on their way to Argentina. With them are some members of the seethe; Paul, Drew, Chelle. Dria and Rafe are bound and determined to figure out who wants them dead. Coming to the Tribunal's base before their intended arrival date doesn't seem to interrupt the plans of those that want Dria and Rafe to disappear...permanently.

Back in Alaska, Asa, Jon, and the rest of the crew there are preparing for the big game hunt when werewolves from various packs come to enjoy the fruits of Dria and Rafe's land. When the wolves become the animals hunted, it's time to figure out who is betraying the compound.

This is another absolutely fantastic book in the world of C.J. Ellisson's vamps and weres.

This installment of The VV Inn series is told in 1st person present tense and like Book 2, The Hunt, each chapter is told from the perspective of a different character within her seethe:

Ch. 1 = Vivian
Ch. 2 = Jonathan
Ch. 3 = Rafe
Ch. 4 = Asa
Ch. 5 = Drew
And so forth and so on.

I love the writing style of C.J. Ellisson. Her characters are quirky, humorous, and quite likable--even the bad guys/gals are written in a way that you love to hate them. The suspense of both story lines - who wants Dria dead and who is hunting the wolves - is fantastically written. There are several HOT HOT HOT scenes that certainly leave this book steamy. I really liked the first 2 books in the series but I LOVE book 3. The dual story line keeps you fully engaged in the book. The plot is well developed and while the 2 storylines are in different parts of the hemisphere, Ms. Ellisson keeps them tightly connected. Bravo!

While the master is away the wolves will play or so they think!!!

C.J. Ellison gives her latest and best installment of VV Inn series in BIG GAME!!
Sex master vamp, Vivian and husband Rafe and half their Seethe, take us on an adventure to Buenos Aires. On a tranquil island, in a fabulous house, with an alluring set of twin to keep things steamy, Vivian and Rafe set off into the Seat of Darkness, the Tribunal's base to find out who is plotting against them and why. Vivian is set to find out who wants her dead!!!,
Meanwhile, back in Alaska, Asa and Jon stay to run the inn. Hosting visiting werewolves on a big game hunt¸ we soon realize that the hunters are becoming the hunted….
I feel this is the best VV Inn Book yet!!

The story takes you from beginning to end. Written in the point of view of a different charter for each chapter, gives a nice touch to the series! The character development is hands down amazing. We get two story arcs in this book, which keep the story flowing nicely. CJ gives us the twists and turns that give us a great book! OH, and did I mention just hands down HOT!!!!

I was very fortunate to be part of an alpha readers group on this book and received a beta ARC for Big Game. I do believe we were reading the book as the final touches were put on that!!!
I am so honored to have been a part of that group. It’s was special treat to be able to have the chance read and give my options on this book. I thank you CJ.

I first want to state the I have not read the previous books. My opinion is based solely on reading just Big Game. I like reading books in order but I also think that each book should be able to stand alone if someone chooses to read out of order. That being said Big Game is a book that you can read alone but a few things were confusing. Such as Dria and Vivian. I wasn't sure what was going on but I realized that they are one in the same. Dria to her hubby Rafe and Vivian to everyone else. After I cleared that up I was able to proceed with the book. The author writes a sexy and humorous tell that brings in all aspects of the paranormal world. What Ms. Ellisson writes Paranormal Erotica that is entertaining and interesting. It has a great plot line with twists and turns. Big Game holds your attention from beginning to end. What I enjoyed most was that you see the world through different POV's. By doing that I feel that she gave the story texture and allowed you to see it at different angles. The characters mesh well together and Dria and Rafe are super hot. After reading this book I will check out the previous ones. The VV Inn series has a big following and I can see why. I recommend Big Game to read rather the series is new to you or you are well acquainted with it.

I really like these characters. It's a great core group. The writing is a little weird, each chapter is from a different character's point of view & their words and interactions. The chapter tells who's it is (sort of like a title). Once you get used to it, it flows pretty well. This one didn't have the amount of sex as some of the others, but it had tons of action and mystery that starts pretty much from the beginning. Most of the characters have been in other books, & this one is a continuation of the problem with Cora. Wasn't too happy with the ending, thought it was abrupt. Great action & mystery, but each problem/mystery was wrapped up a little quick (could have been expanded a touch), and a few were never finished (the house keeper & his family), but maybe that's because they get wrapped up in the next book, who knows. I look forward to the next book.

I won this book on the GoodReads First Reads.

Since it was the third book in the series I wanted to read the previous books to fully enjoy it. Ok, I know the author considers this to be her best book in the series and I have to agree. Don't get me wrong. I enjoyed the previous books as well, but reading this one had me more on the edge of my seat. I sincerely hated to have it end. The revelation of who is behind the tribunal attacks was interesting and I can't wait for the next book. I like the main characters more and more and enjoyed seeing a new side to Rafe that I expected based in his acceptance of Vivian and hints at his own past. Drew really appears to be torn between his past Victorian human self and that of being a vampire however he does appear to be steadfast in his support of the seethe. I do wonder what's up with Cy though. Like I said, can't wait until the next one.

Couldn't sleep anymore so I woke up and realized that Big Game came out today so I went searching to see if they had it available to buy yet and to my surprise they did! Instantly bought it and I am currently reading but when I came to add it to my currently reading list on Goodreads, imagine my surprise that it wasn't listed. Of course I just HAD to add it because this is one of my favorite series. I will probably spend the rest of my day trying to finish reading this book. Definitely loving it so far. Thank you so much to this wonderful author for what I am sure will be another great story.

Having skipped a book I was worried that I wouldn't be able to follow the story line, but I was surprised. I love the VV series and found out that even there is a order to the books, you don't have to read them in order to love them. Dria and Rafe are still the awesome couple they started off being. Dria's determination and Rafe's love for her are a sweet, sexy and powerful combination. With the deception of the Tribunal and Dria's want to fix it poor Rafe has his hands full. I loved Jon, but who doesn't love vampires and werewolves. For me so far, this has to be my favorite of the VV series.

I cannot say enough good things about this series, I loved it!! Another great story, this one kept me turning the pages-very intense! Vivian and rafe go out of town on business and almost lose their lives. The descriptions in this book make you feel like you are right there with them. Lots of Sub characters to love and hate in this series.

BIG GAME (The V V Inn Book 3) by C.J. Ellisson

BIG GAME is the third book in C.J. Ellisson’s vampire series of novels featuring Vivian Alexandria-a powerful sexy ancient vampire with the ability to manipulate reality and the world around her including fulfilling sexual desires and fantasies all with her powers of ‘suggestion’. But her power has been concealed from those who wish to destroy everything that she is-but someone in the Tribunal knows. The novel is written from varying point of views, but each chapter focuses on what is happening at various points in the story. From Alaska, to Argentina to Buenos Aries, there are three storylines all culminating in the final chapter.

Vivian (Dria) and her husband Rafe are heading to Argentina, to the gathering of the Tribunal in the Seat of the Darkness on a mission to determine who is trying to uncover Dria’s secrets. Members of her seethe are along for the trip, but will stay behind and be called in only when things become too dangerous. As members of her seethe, their allegiances and oath to protect Dria and her mate are their top priority. Left behind to their own defenses, it will soon become apparent that the human family that has been credited with keeping up with the property is no longer in control of their own minds.

Meanwhile Jon and Asa must remain behind in Alaska. A very large contingent of werewolves are heading to the V.V inn for Big Game hunting on the frozen tundra and the packs must be protected and ensured that all is safe. But Jon is not pleased that he must remain behind, when he knows that his position is to be with Dria. Although he is not her mate, he loves her with the desire to be, but unbeknownst to him, Dria has other plans with the arrival of the wolf packs and their numerous single females. No longer a member of the pack, Jon focuses on keeping his thoughts about Dria secluded away. But Big Game hunting has become an even bigger risk, when several of the werewolves are hunted and shot with silver. And when one of the mates succumbs to their wounds, the V.V Inn is suddenly secured down with military precision. Someone is determined to take out as many wolves, and whoever it is, has followed the pack to Alaska. When the identity of the hunter’s is finally revealed, it is a saddened Romeo who realizes that the love of a family, goes deeper when murder is suspected-especially by a werewolf thought to have gone rogue.

Vivian and Rafe soon find themselves in enemy territory. But after a passionate night of lovemaking Dria suddenly finds herself shrouded in silver and her mate dying from blood loss on the bedroom floor. If will be only a matter of time before Dria realizes that her life will be worth nothing without her husband and mate. And with the knowledge that an ancient enemy has procured the aid of another supernatural power, Dria’s only concern is that she will meet her mate in the afterlife. Torturing Dria for the secrets to her power, has only convinced the ancient vampire, that the pain and suffering will soon end in death. Giving up will mean she will find her mate in the afterlife that much sooner.
BIG GAME is fantastic storyline in the VV Inn series by C.J.Ellisson. The infusion of vampires, werewolves and magic is nothing new, but C.J.’s ability to weave the characters in to an exciting story will leave you breathless and wanting more. And the love of a man for his mate, will bring a tear to your eye when one wolf loses his mate and an ancient vampire is rescued by a force so powerful, even the seethe members were amazed.

Book three of the V V Inn begins where the previous story left off. The beautiful Vivian (a.k.a. Dria) is on her way to Argentina with her husband and a few servants to get to the bottom of the recent visit from members of the Tribunal. Worried that her secret has been discovered, she and her husband Rafe show up unannounced to infiltrate the Tribunal and get to the bottom of things. When the tables turn on them, Rafe and Dria find themselves in a painful life or death situation that seems almost inescapable.

Jon, the V V Inn’s resident werewolf, is back in Alaska with Asa holding down the fort while his Master is in Argentina. Preparing for a group of vacationing werewolves visiting the inn to hunt wild game, he is not ready for the unexpected events that come his way. When guests start getting shot by hunters, questions loom over who they are following and why. Unfortunately the answer lies a little closer to home than Asa and Jon would like. On top of all of the chaos, Jon realizes there are more female werewolves lingering about than he originally thought. Is Dria trying to set him up with a mate? Why is his mental connection to her so faint? And what is the deal with Spike? That werewolf is all over him and the confusing vibe he is getting is making him uneasy.

This was a fun book but it took me a little while to get through. It has a great plot and I enjoy the mystery of it, but at times there is so much detail it slows the story down. While I appreciate the visualization, sometimes knowing every small detail can become monotonous. On a good note, the action and suspense does make up for it and the storyline is easy to follow. I love the characters and how C.J. tells the story from their various points of view. It adds an interesting dynamic and allows you to understand what each character is thinking as a scene plays out. What I loved the most was Rafe’s determination in this story, When the life of his wife is at stake, the calm and collective man that so many often see, disappears behind the savage that will stop at nothing to save his love and leave a bloody trail in his tracks. Spike was another pleasant surprise. When Jon learns the truth about him, and is willing to accept that truth, it became a very sweet moment. Knowing Jon was willing to put himself out there to be scrutinized for Spike’s sake made me like his character even more.

Overall this was fun read with a little bit of sex and a lot of blood to satisfy vampire and werewolf fans looking for a good mystery.

The first person present point of view in this book required even more concentrations than The Hunt. Not only was there several people used to narrate this story, but there was two locations, so in essence we were actually reading two different stories. One story happens at the V V Inn in Alaska while the other happens in different locations in Argentina. As in The Hunt, each member of the seethe gets their chance to narrate their point of view.

It was quite frustrating to me to be reading about Jonathan’s struggles with finding love while trying to run a hunt in Alaska that has gone very wrong, then suddenly switch to Vivian in the “Seat of Darkness” in Buenos Aires. It was like switching back and forth between two TV shows. One can catch most of the highlights of the shows, but one is bound to miss something in one or the other. That is what I felt in this. I think each story would have stood on its own, but to share a title, I felt each story may have lost something. My opinion.

I am excited that Jonathan may have found his mate. I want more detail on that. I like Jonathan and Spike/Candy intrigues me. What is the issue with Cy? Why was he in Washington State? Did his appearance in Alaska actually help in any way? The dynamics in the relationship between Asa and his brother Eric is interesting and could be further explored.

In the meantime down in Argentina, what exactly are Paul’s emerging powers and why does no one else seem concerned? Is there reason for concern? Drew and Chelle want to take the next step. Drew is so old fashion, it is sweet even if only briefly touched on. Who exactly messed with the staff on the vacation island? Was is all of them or just some? What was the reason behind it? What is this about the Alantians? That sure came out of left field. Rolando!?! Good guy or bad guy?

While the Alaskan story line was more or less cleared up, the Argentina story line certainly was not. There are so many dangling threads, be careful not to trip over any. I am not a fan of an unfinished story. Especially this one. It leaves me questioning, since I had such a difficult time staying until the end of each of the first three books, do I even want to seek out another that isn’t even written yet? Time will tell.

Big Game (The V V Inn #3) by C.J. Ellisson

In this much-anticipated third installment of the V V Inn series, our sexy couple journeys to Argentina, bringing half their seethe along for the ride.
Vivian and Rafe venture into the Seat of Darkness, the Tribunal's base, to uncover who's plotting against them and why. From a cold, windy island off the southern Argentine coast, to the decadence of Buenos Aires, the group has plenty to keep their attention--seductive twins, deadly games, and a bunch of bloodsucking fiends who hate our much-loved, despotic innkeeper enough to see her dead.
Asa and Jon remain in Alaska, to manage the famous inn as it opens doors to a new type of guest. Visiting werewolves go on their first exploration of the property, looking for big game--hormones run high and shots ring out across the tundra. Soon, the hunters become the hunted and the peaceful getaway resembles a battleground.
How many will survive the next five days and will they ever be the same again?

My Review:
So both the action and the mystery continue for our regulars plus we get some travel which is always interesting to get a new environment and seeing how V and R adjust to the various predicaments and dangers, and we also get the games for our wolfy so we get a lot more of Jon and others taking on more solid roles. Its nice getting fresh faces to accompany our regs because you get this dynamic play on personalities that keep things more than entertaining. Big Game was interesting and fun not overly exciting but I enjoyed the conversations and the minor suspense.

4 Stars

No Spoilers....This installment of the VV Inn series is told from the POV of all the Seethe members again, however since you already know them from the previous book it was like visiting an old friend. This can be read on its own however there is a lot of history you will miss by not reading the previous books. This book does not have a cliffhanger. Now onto the good stuff, this story gave me the feels, I fell in love with John again, and Rafe more. I was so impressed with Asa, and the vampire intrigue was ridiculous. I loved seeing the vulnerability of Dria, and the strength of Rafe. This is something that was hinted to but not seen in the previous books. This book wasn't filled with sex, but there are sexy scenes. This is really all about the story, the mystery and the intrigue. Who can be trusted, and what is really going on. I have enjoyed this series so much, each book for a different reason, which is nice in a series that has more than 3 books. I don't want to read 6 books of the same thing over and over. This series evolves, and keeps the reader interested. I am anxious to see where the author brings me next, how the characters will evolve and what will change. So much potential, and so much story left to tell. I highly recommend this story, but I suggest reading the first books in the series first.

Vivian aka Dria and her Husband Rafe head to Argentine to go to a Tribunals party. Taking with them vampires Drew and cook/newly turned vampire Paul who was attached in the last book. They knew that they were flying into danger because Cora had discovered Dria’s secret, she not just an ancient but also a rare vampire with manipulator capabilities. They never realized just how far Cora would go to make sure that Dria and Rafe dies though.

While they were away, Jon and Asa stay behind with the pups to run the Inn during the Spring months for the Werewolf’s that were to come hunt big game during the vampire off season but when wolves start getting shot by silver bullets they may be in over the heads.

In a race against time groups are fighting for their lives in hopes that once again the good guys, meaning them, will win.

This is the third book in the series. It’s at times highly erotic, but this once did seemed to be toned down a little. While each of them have their own story lines, I do suggest reading all of them in order just so that you know what happens to each person. This book so far has been my favorite of the series and at one point I was so afraid about what had happened that I swear my heart almost popped out of my chest.

Another worthy story!!! 5 Stars

You do not want to miss out on this book or the rest of the series! Big Game is the third full-length story in the V V Inn series and it is just as awesome as the ones before it. Like The Hunt, it is told through multiple characters POVs, which just makes it a more enriching tale. Following up on the events and findings from the Hunt, Vivian, Rafe and a few of their seethe-mates travel to Argentina to visit the Tribunal’s Base to find out who is plotting against Vivian. As with the last book, this is also told from different POVs and lets some of the Seethe take lead or charge of situations, so you really get a good look into their head and their character. I think that this book is very well written, and just like the rest of the series it is very unique and a terrific fresh take on the vampire lore. And as keep saying, this is one series that will always be kept on my TBR list so that I can read it over & over again through the years! Hopefully C.J. will be able to write more in this series as I think that Vivian, Rafe, Jon & Drew have a lot more adventure in them! Not to mention their other Seethe-mates as well! I am very glad that I finally did discover this series and cannot wait for more to come!

The Big Game splits Dria's seethe. Jon and Asa are left behind to run V V Inn for werewolves while Dria and Rafe goes to Buenos Aires to find out who is plotting against them. From the last book, The Hunt, Caro revealed that Dria has many enemies who are willing to see Dria falls.

This book has two plots going on. While Dria and Rafe tries to discover who Caro is working for or with, Jon and Asa and their fellow werewolves are attacked by an unknown enemy/enemies.

Dria has endangered herself by revealing one of her abilities and need to discover who will Caro share the information with to destroy her.

This book is full of intrigues and new enemies appearing. Dria's seethe is growing and Dria is faced with a bigger task of keeping her family safe. Big Game goes deeper into Dria's past and how that past is affecting Dria's present life.

Readers will be hooked to the V V Inn Series and want to know more about Dria, Rafe, and each of the secondary characters in this series.

I was given this book by the author in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated or influence in any way for writing this review.

At first I did not think I would like this book as it took place in two separate locations. One in Alaska, and the other in Souther Argentine at the seat of Darkness for all vampires.

But the more I read, the better the book was. Both stories flowed together in a sense that was understandable and connected to both stories. This was done by phone calls between both groups.

While one put Asa, Jon and the werewolves that came for a hunt, and met with a surprise interesting and kept you wonder what would happen next, especially what was going on with Jon and Spike from the first book, whom had a little secret of his/her own?

Dria, Rafe, Drew and Paul down Argentine way had their own little problems to deal with, other than would Chelly and Drew hook up, or would Paul be safe from the sexy twins? Coraline, and Lucas make their move and with a wizard thrown in, the plot thickens. Things get scary, and people show some of their true colors.

All in all a very good book.

The third book in the VV Inn series is the best so far. It is once again written from various characters POV and has two settings (Alaska and Argentina) with two story lines that still manage to intertwine well. It has all the great qualities of a good book, humour, action, suspense, a few surprises and of course some sex. Sex in a book should titivate and enhance the story, not overpower it and become the major focus. I think this is the mistake that some authors have made in their later books, the meat of the story has been diluted by the sexual content. In well written books (even if they are about sex - as in Fifty Shades) the story still remains forefront and the sex intensifies it. In my opinion it is that that allowed this book to become so popular with the mainstream. Even though this authors books have plenty of sex in then, she is still managing to keep the story line as the main focus of the book.

I was given this for a honest review.

OK so I got soo hooked to the story that I didn't notice my battery dying.  Yep halfway through the book and I was in the middle of a Rafe and Vivian getting it on scene and it goes black. Nòoooooooooooooooo! !! Well I realised I needed to fully charge it and step back for a bit.
Rafe and Vivian have taken Drew, Paul and some humans with them to see if they can investigate who is trying to kill them. While Asa and Jon have stayed behind and take care of the visiting werewolves. Which as usual doesn't go as planned as there's someone shooting at them with silver bullets.
This book was a little intense a few times in this I was shouting in my head nòoooooooooooooooo and oh God please don't let it happen. I nearly cried at one point but help back waiting to see if it was definately for real. These books get better with each one and I can't wait to see what happens and how they all deal after this one.

Jon and Asa stay behind to run the Inn and open it to a new kind of costumer this time it won’t be vampires it will be werewolves!

I’m so happy we get to lean a lot more about Asa & Jon he’s one of my favorites in this series and he is SEXY! Woohoo! I can’t wait for the next book this series is sexy & action packed I highly recommend these books I can’t wait to see what happens next!!

I wanted to love this installment of the V.V. Inn series, and it started out with promise but the climax was anticlimactic. I'm left feeling like I've been worked up and not given the action I was looking for.

I'm glad Jonathan is getting a chance at romance, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't hoping for his fantasies to come true.

It was nice to get a little more back story on some of the characters. Gives them a bit more depth and has me interested in what's to come.

If you're looking for a light read to get you going, this does the job well enough. There's plenty of banter and comic relief to keep it amusing.

Wow I started this series and couldn't put it down. Ms. Ellisson is a truly gifted writer. If you like the supernatural you will love these books. I bet once you read the 1st book in this series you won't want to stop. Men are just as excited about this series and women. This take on Vamps, Were's and Sups is refreshing. What a great storyline the Characters are still strong and the new introductions are amazing. You feel like a guest at the VV Inn instead of just reading the book. How EXCITING!!

Vivian and Rafe head to the Tribunal's base to find out who is betraying her. What they uncover has Vivian questioning everything and it is only made harder with leaving Jon and Asa in Alaska to manage the hotel. Nothing goes as planned and Vivian is not sure she and Rafe will survive. Everything that could go wrong does in all areas including the hotel.

Exciting third book in the series. There were some twists I never expected and found the story a definite page turner. Fans of this series will be shocked. a Riveting read.

Compassion to Dria and those she holds dear

I absolutely love these stories. The characters are individually portrayed with all their strengths and their weaknesses and make the story's even better. The storyline has enough twists and turns to keep the reader's interest. Who knew own could route for the vampires and werewolves, but I did. I like these books so much that I'm going to read the prequel and after that, I read the necessity in the series. Me. Ellison, please keep writing. I'm a devoted fan.

Brilliant Book. A must for the lovers of vampire and werewolf novel fans. Two story lines which keep you involved and feeling part of it. Felt myself being drawn into the stories and second guessing what was happening.I felt that I have got to know most of the characters in the series and shared the thrills and emotions that they experenced. The sexual elements were a bonus addition and very enjoyable.
Can' t wait for next book.
Thanks C.J

I have to admit, C.J Ellison is fast becoming one of my favourite authors. She has written such strong characters, and i love the fact that the story centres around a strong female, not a woman dependant on a man. I loved the twist with Spike and my heart literally stopped at the end of chapter 17. I cannot wait to see what else C.J is going to do. I think i could read absolutely anything she wrote.
