Alphas of Summer is a wonderful collection of books each written by a different author. I found that I enjoyed some stories more than others but I truly liked them all. The collection definitely has something for everyone no matter what you prefer in your paranormal. I laughed, held on the edge of my seat and even cried while reading the different books. INTCON by Tigris Eden is set in bayou of Louisiana. Odessa has traveled from California to Louisiana to apprentice with Cyriaque of Cyrius Eats restaurant. Onessa dreams of being a world class chef and being mentored by Cyr. Though he hasn't taken a trainee in over 5 years, not since the death of his mate and child. Unfortunately unknown to Onessa Cyr has become a world class A hole and a drunk during those 5 years. She also doesn't know he's a panther shifter or that his rival is a werewolf until she is caught in the middle. INTCON is full of suspense, friendship, loyalty, betrayal, loss and love. I hope Tigris decides to write more about the eclectic characters she had in this story. If love to read a story with Alaric, Cyr's right-hand man as the sexy shifter looking for his future. H. M. Queen's Choices is part of her Protectors series. It's set in Atlanta, Georgia. It's a refreshing new take on immoral protectors that are banned together to protect humans from Dark Fae and other Demons. Choices will have you on the edge of your seat at times and swooning over the sexy alpha males the next. This is the first book I've read by this author but I think I've found a new series to love. Megan Michelau's Keystone series is wonderful. I've already signed up for her newsletter and checkout her other books. Debra Jess's T-CASS was fantastic. I can't wait to read more books about this amazing group of paranormal hero's working together like the Justice League. Lorelei Moone's Alpha Squad was also well written and wonderful to read. I'm looking forward to reading more of her Alpha Squad books in the near future. Lia Davis's book Charmed Wolf is Dana and Cooper's story. It is full of betrayal, hate, crime, backstabbing, black magic, white magic, loyalty, family and love. The characters are so full of life they seem able to jump off the pages and into your mind's eye. This story will grab your attention and hold it through till the end. Candace Ayers' Bears of Burden is set in the small town of Burden, Texas. It's a story of sexy alpha werebears and the women that capture their hearts. Kim Carmichael's Pieces of Three is a triad story. It involves two on the run Lycanthropes and the human woman that falls for them. It's a completely new take on werewolves. An Alphas Second Chance by Dominique Eastwick is part of The Shifters of Yellowstone series. It's a story full of amazingly different shifters. There are elk, bears, bison, wolves even rams that live and work in the park as rangers protecting the animals and shifters that live in the park. Lars is the elk alpha and he's finally getting his second chance at a mate with the human ranger Jenny. The Shifters of Yellowstone series has everything that will have readers coming back for more. Dragon's Desire by JD Moore is a fascinating new world of dragon shifters in the Dragons of Ascavar series. Her dragons can come to earth when they turn 49 to spend time away from Ascavar during their Khalle t' aradan, The Wandering, to see if they wish to remain in the Dragon realm or live on earth. Phalin, Dragon prince and 5th child of the Queen comes to earth hoping to find himself. Through his trials he finds friendship, loyalty, family, honor and love. If you love Dragon tales then Ms Moore's world of Ascavar is one you won't want to miss. Alphas of Summer has something for every kind of paranormal reader. There's so much to offer and so many series introductions that you will surely find many more tales to fill your nights. I received an ARC from one of the authors. This is my voluntary review.
I was given this anthology for my unbiased opinion. I really enjoyed reading this anthology. I got to read this anthology of amazing authors and the stories they write. Not one story I didn't like. I will defiantly reread this again and again.
I totally enjoyed this anthology. There’s something fun and sexy for everyone. I loved that the women in many of the stories were as strong and sometimes stronger than the guys.
I particularly enjoyed A Secret Rose by Debra Jess. The shifter in this super hero novelette is a woman who can change gender. It’s a fast paced read that had me crossing my fingers and flipping pages, hoping everything would work out for the main character in the end. At the same time, I couldn’t imagine how a happily ever after could be possible. Filled with romance, danger, and amazing world building, A Secret Rose was simply a fantastic read. I’m looking forward to reading other novels set in this same world.
Operation Wildcat by Megan Michelau was also one of my favorites. The romance and heat between the main characters was off the charts. I also loved how they acted and thought like big cats, instead of like normal humans (one of the qualities that always marks a good shifter romance for me). The pace was fast. The danger felt real and there were just enough twists to make it impossible to put down.
It`s a Elk Shifter, with a second change in love, its was nice and sweet, you get a sneek peak of other shifter series couple and plp just been plp but at the end a nice story .
Choices - H.M. McQueen
Now these one is about a Immortal demon slayer Roderick Cronan, and he saves Rachel Andrews which changes everything forever with an unbreakable bond with the handsome Protector, drags her into a world she never believed existed and has no desire to be part of and him coming to face with the consecuense and his feelings for Rachel or losing both. I may be lookin up rest of this series
Charmed Wolf - Lia Davis
This story has a really nice a good plot deff. totaly recomended, Dana Hutson is walking away from her twin and her Pack due to fear of her power that was pushed back and its on edge due to her late mate’s betrayal, she runs which leads her to Cooper Reed that will do anything to keep his sister and adopted daughter safe from the demented rogue Alpha of the Bloodrose Creek Pack. Both are not prepared to realize they are mates in the midst of the chaos.
Dragon's Desire - JD Monroe
This was a cute story could be better but it felt as a filler story.
Lone Enforcer - Jessica Aspen Natalie Fisher the H non shifter character showed a lot of grit and for a short story with a loner pack law enforcer Luca Weylyn, in order to find what happen to her friend.
Deila & The Werewolf - Jordan K Rose
This was a cute sweet story. It wasn't bad wasn't great. It was a easy light read.
Pieces of Three - Kim Carmichael
MFM story that caught your attention from the start and makes me curious to check out this authors other stories.
Alpha Squad: Boot Camp - Lorelei Moone
This was a good story where shifters have just came into the light and it was nice to see a strong female character along with the alpha male.
A Secret Rose - Debra Jess
This story was an easy light read. I really like the relationship between these characcters.
Operation Wildcat - Megan Michelau
I really hope this is a series. I love the cat shifters in it. This story was a little predictable in that you could kind of guess what would happen next but still a really good read.
Dragon's Curvy Dilemma - Mychal Daniels
Light read and fairly quick. Some parts of this story were just a little to cheesy for me but they were still cute. The little boy steals the show in this one.
Cade & Anna - V.A. Dold
I had a hard time with this one mostly cause I have to wonder if there wasn't a book I should have read before reading this one. Still I enjoyed the story and will be looking into this author.
Intcon - Tigris Eden
This story was great!. It sucked you in from the get go and had you wanting more when it ended. Though I have to admit I love werecats and werewolves. This one was my favorite of this Collection.
This story just wasn't for me. The whole Elk Shifter thing just wasn't for me. The story was well written though so I will look into the Authors other stories.
Choices - H.M. McQueen
This story was really good, I just wish there was more to it. Ronan was all alpha and bad ass along with his friends. I will have to find the rest of this series

So far I have only read one novella in this boxed set, "Lone Enforcer" by Jessica Aspen. I loved it! Just this single story is well worth the cost of the boxed set, and there is a smorgasbord of 13 shifter novellas in here. I am a long time fan of Jessica Aspen, and this is one of her best shifter paranormal romances. If you like this one, you have to try her epic faerie series, the Tales of the Dark Court. This "Lone Enforcer" novella was a little bit gritty and a little bit dark but also had some humor. A wonderful mixture of some unique elements makes a great shifter romance: a sassy and stubborn African American, full-figured heroine who can rock-climb; the disappearance of her best friend; a hot wolf shifter cowboy with a cool horse; and a secret wolf shifter society in the Colorado mountains! I loved Natalie and Luca. Luca was a real knight in shining armor, and he recognized Natalie's strength, both mental and physical. I hope that this couple will appear in future books of the series.
I am also looking forward to reading one of the other novellas in "The Alphas of Summer" that takes place in Yellowstone National Park and a couple of other books about dragon shifters.
I received a free advanced reading copy from one of the authors, and I voluntarily wrote this honest review.
Marie's Tempting Reads ARC Review of Mychal Daniels A Dragon's Curvy Dilemma in the ALphas of Summer Box Set:
Sexy Dragons, a sassy virgin, and a great kid...oh my! This novella by Mychal Daniels is featured in The Alphas Of Summer Box set which will be released July 18th and oh dear god, this novella is a WINNER! Its a bit lighter..not as steamy as Miss Daniels previous stories but it is just as sweet and sexy in a bit more lighter tone. I found it refreshing and I lost count the number of times I sighed. I thought I loved Mychal's Aliens but I think her Dragons are even BETTER! Asher is super sexy and is a good dad while Daryl is curvy, beautiful, sassy, and is so charming. I SO want to be her friend!
With the characters being amazing, the story was fast paced and just...sparked! I LOVED the ever living daylights out of this novella and REALLY hope Miss Daniels writes more sexy dragons in the future because DAMN...HOT and OH SO TEMPTING!
If you want a Dragon you won't soon forget I HIGHLY recommend you pick up The Alphas Of Summer Box set and DEVOUR Dragon's Curvy Dilemma. I give this a SPECTACULAR FIVE SHOOTING STARS! I am infatuated with this novella and hope to see more stories with sexy Dragons in the future.

REVIEW I have read one book in this set previously so I am leaving my review for that book. I also have read the following books in this set and leaving reviews for those. All of these books are sexy, short, intense and every paranormal romance lovers dream read. I enjoyed each one.
Previously read/reviewed Alpha Squad: Boot Camp by Lorelei Moone If you read the previous series by this author then you will know where some of the characters in this book come from. The shifters came out and now they are building a Alpha Squad to help ease fears and to keep the peace. The problem is not all are on-board or honest in this endeavor. Eric and his brother Adam are all in and head out to join this squad but Eric is not prepared for what happens. His Major is none other than a woman he has thought about since seeing her in a restaurant. Now what is he to do? Janine is she human? Well she can all of a sudden hear Eric' thoughts. If you love shifters and a bit of action with a touch of spice then pick up this book. It can be read as a stand-alone as it's a first in a new series. I really enjoyed it and can't wait for the next one.
An Alpha's Second Chance by Dominique Eastwick New to me author. Wow this one gives us a variety of shifters. Pretty good story here. And when one of the shifters knows his mate is a human ranger what will happen? Well follow Lars and finds out.
Choices by H.M. McQueen New to me author. This was thrilling to read. We get a variety of paranormal beings. And a bond that was a mistake? Aside from some missing words here and there this was really good.
Charmed Wolf by Lia Davis New to me author. This was a very intense book with a battle of Alpha's. Deception, Abuse, and Heartbreak and hopefully Glory all play apart. The story kept me enthralled although there were missing words here and there.
If you're a fan of shifter stories, you're going to really enjoy this anthology. If you're new to shifters, this is a great place to start. Each book is by a different author, so each has a different spin on the whole shifter concept. Personally, I'm partial to bear shifters and I like the writing style of Lorelei Moone so her Alpha Squad: Boot Camp is my favorite story in this set. There is something for every preference in this set, covering a wide range of shifter kinds (dragons, lykans, etc.) and even a menage story. All the alphas are strong, sexy men and their mates are worthy of their affections. Each story is a standalone with a HEA. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Something for everyone! I found this anthology to be quite superb at offering me all sorts of shifting fun and spice and a lot of hotness. I doubt anyone could read this grouping and not fall in love at least once. I am always looking for new shifter series, so I think I may have found a few. I usually read wolves and dragons, so those were great. We also find some strong females in this mix to compliment those alpha males. I was surprised by a couple of cat shifters. A couple of the stories are somewhat predictable, or more so than others, but that is still okay. The ones that were a light read still were a good read for me.
Voluntary review of advanced reader copy of ebook.
This is a review for Dominique Eastwick's book An Alpha's Second Chance. I thought it was a great book even though the story was short. Lars lost his first mate years ago. Elk shifter normally have two. When he saw Jenny, who is a park ranger he knew she was his second. The only problem is Jenny's human. Jenny feels more at home in the park and with the elk than Lars knows. Their coming together is sweet and lovely. It was well worth the read. I voluntarily agreed to review this book. My review is my own honest opinion.
An anthology of alpha shifter romances. Many were unique, like the Elk shifters. A total of 13 stories by 13 different authors. Many had strong women and they all had alpha males. If you like shifter romances you'll most likely love this collection. Plenty of steam and action to keep your kindle warm. I received an advance copy and voluntarily chose to review this collection. A little something for everyone.
Delia and the Werewolf by Jordan K. Rose- I loved this sexy little nugget. It was a fun read that I got through in one sitting. Delia is a woman CEO in a man's world. Luke, a werewolf, who wants to move their boardroom meetings to the bedroom. The characters have great chemistry, just like all Ms. Rose's characters always do. All in all a happy little read. I requested an ARC of the set so that I could post an honest review.
This is an awesome set of romances involving alpha shifters. If you love paranormal romances and shifters of all kinds, this is a must read. There are 13 stories by 13 awesome authors. This book is a must have. I enjoyed every single story and every single happily ever after. I received a free copy of this book and happily and voluntarily choose to leave a review
Review of Pieces of Three by Kim Carmichael: This is a menage story between two Lycanthropes males & a human female. A intriguing story with a new take on werewolves. Right from page one till the end I was glued to my kindle. Sexy shifters & a well blended mix of characters that are fun to read about. I volunteerily reviewed an advanced reading copy of this book.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book. Love it. All the best authors and their stories in one book. Can't pick which one is my favorite. You can't find all these awesome stories in one book anywhere else. Hot shifter romance, action love mystery betrayal, it has everything
This group of books was well written by all the authors. I enjoyed every story and couldn't find a single story that wasn't a great read. These books had lots of action and plenty of sexy times! I would definitely recommend this bundle for anyone who likes hot shifters.
Pieces of Three by Kim Carmichael really intrigued me, I liked the concept and how the story developed, I liked the main characters and the special twist.
And I liked Tigris Eden's In the Cover of the Night.
Usually in an anthology there is at least one story you skip over. That didn't happen this time. Every story was well written and I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite. I just loved them all! 💕
I only read one of the stories in the book "A Curvy Dilemma" by Mychal Daniels. She is one of my favorite authors and I gave her 5 stars for her story. I loved it and wished it was longer.
I skimmed some of the other stories and just was not feeling any of them.
i received a copy of this early and it was great, i loved the stories and am looking for following the authors for future books, i thought that it was great that it was in a set, i loved that it contained a lot of different types of stories. i give this book a 5 star, well written, fun, exciting, hard to put down, i loved the characters, great job all author I received an ARC from one of the authors.
