Never steal. But if you must steal, steal away from bad company.
Divorced police detective, Bryan Wright, let his life revolve around nothing but work after his marriage all but imploded. Now he is ready to hit play on living again; as long as love and commitment are off the table. But the curvy blond goddess who happens to be his new roommate cracks the veneer of his walls with her sassy mouth and shy smiles.
ER nurse, Valerie Duncan, isn’t one to trust easily. When she discovers she has a sinfully handsome new roomie, she is more than cautious. After all, nothing good can come out of being around a man who drips testosterone and masculinity with every breath he takes.
Heat and desire collide, breaching their walls, leaving each of them vulnerable to love, though they stubbornly deny it. When the past spills into the present, will they admit to stealing each other’s heart? Will they be brave enough to steal away from the bad company that comes knocking at their door?

*** CONTAINS SPOILERS ******

This is a wonderful story about a divorced detective, Bryan (aka "Handsome"), who after 4 years (following his divorce) of living with his brothers, decided to finally get a life. When an old friend (Vaughn) calls him to house sit for him while he is away and that he would be sharing it with "Duncan", he leaps at the chance - only to find out that his roommate is not a "he" but a gorgeous babe!

When Val and he first meet, she thinks he is Vaughn's gay lover (the friend who owns the house) and he thinks she is Vaughn's lover (he didn't know that his friend was gay). Their first meeting is hilarious!

“Who knew you were so sweet?”
“Not you after I thought you were Vaughn’s date,” I told him, both of us laughing.
“I still thought you were hot.” He smirked, and I shook my head.
“I thought it was a loss of epic proportions and I was sad for the sisterhood to having lost you to the other team.”

Valerie (Val or aka "Blondie") is a gorgeous nurse who fixes vintage cars & does house repairs on the side! I loved this chick! She & Bryan are so hot & good together and as fictional characters, I totally believed they were meant to be. In other words, they were perfect for one another.

One of the things that I loved most about this story is that not only do these two have chemistry that sparks & ignites each time they are together, but I also loved how both were supportive and there for one another. Bryan in the most part is an Alpha male who once he saw his "blondie", he was hooked for life and wouldn't allow her or anything to come between them! Val too, was kick-ass in her defense of him and sometimes not confident that she was the right one for him because her whole life people left and she didn't know whether to trust in what they had or not until swoony Bryan showed her that she was his for life.

This is a totally safe read with no cheating or OM/OW drama - except for Bryan's ex who comes back to cause trouble but he doesn't want her at all! Hero is not a Manhore. Besides his ex, he has been with a couple of women since his divorce but nothing serious. Heroine in turn had only a ONS in her past and no other lovers.

Bryan & this ex of his were together since they were 16 (based on the math, I believe they were together for a total of 14 years!). After college they got married and while their marriage had been rocky, they decided to start a family as Bryan always wanted to be a Dad. However, his crazy wife lied to him and told him he was sterile. Believing that he will never have a family and feeling he had nothing to offer any woman, he was heartbroken. Eventually he & his wife got divorced. So when he learns that his ex lied to him, he is both bitter at her lies and grateful that he can make babies with Val.

There's a little drama when his crazy ex refuses to go away and begins to stalk them. The stunts she pulls is bat-shit crazy. There is also a lot of humor as well, throughout the story - especially the scene in the kitchen with the chocolate macaroons & his crazy grandma! They also fall in love half way through the book and we see their relationship already developed by the time you get to the end which I loved because this is not one of those romances where it's all about the sex, breakup & suddenly HEA. No, this is a romance where they built their relationship, bond & love step by step so that when you got to the end, you really felt like this was a true love story! It's been a long time since I read something so well written as this.

By the way, loved the grandma and all his wonderful brothers! I hope we get Garrett & Donnie's story next!

So why not 5 stars? In the most part, it IS a 5 star romance but I wished that Hero had not been made to have such a long term relationship with OW. He said that he & his ex had spent half of his life/adulthood together. He had experienced everything first with her - first love, lost their virginity to one another, shared a home & life, their secrets, etc. For me, I want those type of intimate moments and "firsts" to be with the person that he or she is meant to be with - or not to have those details told to me because it takes away from the romance and sometimes makes me feel as the heroine is second best. While I didn't feel in this instance that heroine was 2nd best, neither did I like the fact that he had all those "firsts" with the OW for so many years and that we got so much info about their relationship such as the nickname he called her (his "perfect girl"), how he gave her his sports jersey to wear in college, pictures & mementos that they had taken and that the crazy ex still had and had sent it to him to remind him of happy times, etc. Note to Authors. Romances should be about the people you write about - not past relationships. Would you enjoy learning intimate details about the person you loved with any of their ex's? This is how most readers like me feel with our fictional characters - at least I think they do....

All in all, this was still a very enjoyable & fun read. Highly recommend.

But overall it was a good story that hooked me to the end.
I want to read about the other brothers.

“Man, when I saw him, I would have bet an easy grand you were living in the burbs with Courtney and half a dozen kids by now,”

A man I’d freaking paraded around in front of half-naked, called gay, and kissed. All in less than fifteen minutes. Queen of First Impressions strikes again!

“She’s okay. A little too frumpy Plain Jane for me,” he said, not meaning it at all, just needing the conversation to end. A quiet gasp and Garrett’s hushed curse hit his ears before silence fell all around the driveway, making him stop in his tracks.

He would just have to find a way to tell her what no one but Courtney knew about him.

Life had taught me that when things shine, they sure as hell weren’t meant for me. And Bryan was brilliant.

***********************************************

All books in this series are stand-alone but to get to know the characters better, I recommend that you read them in order.

***********************************************

This second book STEAL is a romance between an ER nurse and a detective. She is not a virgin but she is inexperienced. He is a divorced man but he is not a man-whore. He was married to his high-school sweetheart for 16 years. After their marriage ended, he had a few hook-ups.

When they first met, it was clear they were attracted to one another strongly. There was some sexy banter and Val (Valerie) had some sass that I enjoyed but the very same night she kissed him and there was a passionate moment between them and if they hadn’t been interrupted, she would have slept with him so it didn’t mean anything to me when she showed some “fake sass” later on…

I prefer it when the woman makes a man work for it. Valerie was kinda a sure thing for him. So, in the following days, the same thing continues. They kiss and get intimate, then something happens and it is interrupted. Then, she says they need to stay away from each other but as soon as he kisses her, all bets are off and she gives in once again.

What bothered me most is that all the while, she believes he thinks she is not his type and he wants her for one night. She lacks self-confidence and she is prone to misunderstanding his every word. So whatever Bryan says/does, she interprets it as rejection because she thinks he is out of her league.

Bryan, on the other hand, finds her very beautiful and sexy but she thinks she is not good enough for him. Whatever he says and does to make her believe that he wants her and he is serious about her, for the %80 of the book, she cannot believe it and she is not sure of herself and what they have between them. This part of the novel was annoying. I wish she didn’t sell herself so short. She is beautiful, sexy, smart and cute. She is indeed a likable person. His brothers, parents and friends all liked her. So seeing that she blends in with them, she could have been more confident but she had a past that involved a junkie mother, a murderer as a father and she had to do things she didn’t want to so she never saw herself as his equal or as someone who deserves him.

Bryan is a very likable character; I loved him. I loved how he loved her and how devoted and loyal he was to her. I loved that he never let her go. He corrected every misunderstanding quickly. I believed in his love for her. I never thought she was his second best after his ex-wife because he made it clear that Valerie meant more for him than anyone else.

There are lots of hot scenes and they are good together.

***********************************************

The plot twist is an annoying one. The ex-wife comes and makes A LOT OF trouble. Like crazy trouble!

I liked how Bryan never faltered when she tried to remind him of their good old days. I liked that he tried his best to make sure that she understands everything between them was over. However, this woman was insane and desperate for Bryan’s attention after having experienced a second failed marriage; so she causes OTT unnecessary drama!

She cannot separate Bryan and Valerie so she tries to hurt them in other ways. I didn’t like how far she went. And in the end, I didn’t think she got what she deserved and I still feel that they are not safe as long as her crazy as* lives!

***********************************************

As for safety, it is safe with no cheating. Other than the crazy ex-wife's plots, there is no real problem between them.

***********************************************

I read LIE first in this series and I had a problem with its writing. The same writing style is used in this second book, as well; so I have the same complaint about it. Valerie’s chapters are from 1st person point of view but Bryan’s chapters are written from 3rd person point of view. It is so very distracting and annoying. Although the writing makes you feel, this writing style steals a lot from the pleasure of reading.

***********************************************

All in all, it was a sweet romance that I mostly enjoyed but it had the above-mentioned issues that annoyed me so it couldn’t get beyond a 3-star book for me.

Bryan and Valerie burned up the pages in this steamy, romantic and funny story. That's not all. They really had to fight against some crazy bad karma. I'd rather have had less of the whole other woman issue but I still enjoyed the rest of the story. Bryan stayed true.. That's the one thing that made it tolerable for me. The hits kept coming, one thing after another but what held strong was their devotion to each other. From their first encounter they had an almost electric pull that they couldn't deny. Then add in Bryan's crazy family and I had times I couldn't quit laughing. I really can't wait for Garrett's story. Mayra has the ability to sweep you away in one single scene leaving you breathless.. I really will be watching for more from this talented writer.

I absolutely fell in love with Bryan and Valerie .
Valerie is our strong, stubborn, driven woman. She has come to realize that you can only depend on yourself in this world. Valerie has become a product of her environment having been routinely let down by family and lovers she is now guarded when it comes to relationships.
Bryan has been down the relationship road and it has never worked out , being a police officer leading an unpredictable life can be very rough on your personal life or lack there of!.
Brayan and Val are thrown together by chance and upon their first encounter you can not deny their chemistry. Although Val finds Bryan oh so sexy, rugged and overbearing she decides it is best to stay away but that can be a problem when he is now your new roommate .
Bryan loves the feisty nature of his new roommate and hell she is also sexy, smart and confident but she will not let her guard down and he is realizing that he wants to know more about her!
The constant push and pull of the relationship is what brought me in and their sexually fueled banter and battle for control was fun and engaging !!! I so loved their story they had to tell!!
This book was provided for an honest review.

Okay, my first read of Mayra's was Lie, book one of this series and I really enjoyed it...so I was excited to get to read this.

Book one was really good, but this book blew it out of the water. I freaking love Bryan!! He is what book boyfriends are made of. . . and Mayra gave him the perfect gal in Valerie. I loved that I didn't guess what the conflict was going to be and was surprised with by twists in the storyline. This story grabbed right from the beginning and didn't let go .....even the end did go the way I was expecting and that is a great thing. I love when a story mentions something that I just have to google...in this case it was Ruby - I needed that visual

If you looking for a well written book with a sassy heroine who is an ER nurse, and an protective hero, that is a detective no less, look no further. Throw in some friends, family and "didn't see that coming" and you have a great read

One of the best books I've read this year, as far as grabbing my attention and not letting me go, and surprising me with twists when I'm sure I have it figured out.

I have a soft spot for alpha male heroes who see their woman and don't let go. And who can be bossy. Oh, and who are cops. Haha. Bryan was this 110%. I also have a soft spot for sweet, vulnerable, but yet strong and sassy (in a cute way) heroines and Val fulfilled this. The drama was mostly from outside sources and they knew how to talk, again, something I appreciate more and more in my books.

I'm looking forward to reading more of this author's stories.

Steal by Mayra Statham a heart stealing five-star read. This is the second book in the Right men series and starts with a quote from Hitch, how could you not love that, the quote is ‘Never steal. But if you do, steal away from bad company.’ I loved Lie the first book in the series, and this book just compounds on how amazing it is. We get to know the Wright brothers better with each book, and those boys are worth getting to know.
Bryan Wright or Detective Handsome as he is also known, is a hard-working police detective and he stole away from bad company when he divorced his ex-wife, and moved in with his brother Marcus. Bryan has now made the decision that he needs to move out of his brother’s house as Marc is settling down and may need the room. But really, it’s just that he wants to start living again. Will he get the chance to do it in his new house?
Valerie Duncan or Duncan as she is more commonly known by some causing some hilarious circumstances, is an ER nurse who is a curvy blonde goddess who doesn’t trust easily, when she finds a strange man in her kitchen she makes an obvious to her observation leading to some hilarious results.
When they start to steal time from each other leading to stolen hearts, will they allow the trust issues they both have to get in the way, and will past histories pop up and cause more trouble than they are worth?
This is a great story, and I can’t wait for the next instalment of the Wright brothers story, will Garret or Donnie be the next to reveal his secrets, they both have them buried deep I am sure, like what really happened to Garret during his time away to turn his into his darker version and why does Donnie never remove his suit?

Bryan and Val stole my heart! I loved their instant chemistry, that they tried so hard to deny. Val has been hurt and abandoned by family and former boyfriends, so she is very cautious around Bryan, even if she can't deny how hot and masculine he is. Bryan had been married in the past, but knows that was a mistake, one he doesn't want to make again. There's something about Val that he can't resist though. Two wary people fighting against falling in love, while trying to protect themselves from obstacles that could hinder their chance at happiness.

✯✯5 Stolen Stars!!!✯✯

Mayra Statham continues to prove over and over again why I don't need to read the synopsis before I one click her books. I've loved every book of hers and this one was no different.

When I read Lie I fell in love with Marcus and his brothers Garrett and Brian and their best friend Donnie. They're all close and so very different.

Brian is a police detective. Ever since he got divorced he's lived with his 2 brothers and best friend. But, when his brother Marcus fell in love with Grace and her daughter Brian started thinking and seeing things differently.

When an old friend of Brian's has to go outta town he's looking for someone to rent out his third room. He assured Brian his roommate Duncan is on point. He trusts Duncan with his life. But, Brian was unprepared. Duncan wasn't what he thought he was going to be. When he met his roommate he wasn't expecting Duncan to be a beautiful blonde. After their first interaction Brian realizes she's unlike any woman he's met before. But, before anything can happen he feels like he has to explain things to her. Things he hasn't told anyone not even his brothers. But, his past comes back and could ruin everything.

Valerie is an ER nurse and works long hours. Sometimes doubles after double shift. She's had a hard life and been screwed over so many times. There aren't many people she trusts other then her best friend Vaughn. So when a new roommate who just happens to be a police detective moves in Valerie's walls go up. The problem is they don't go up around her heart. Detective handsome as she likes to call him makes it hard to be around him. He has such a smooth way of getting under skin and getting her to do things. Valerie is trying her hardest not to fall for Brian. Even with everything in their way that's making it difficult she's finding it hard to stay away.

From page one to the last sentence I was hooked. Brian is just handsome and makes it hard not to just give into whatever he wants. Once Brian finally stops fighting his feelings he's unstoppable. Valerie I really liked. Her fast, no nonsense mouth reminded me of myself and I found myself laughing at her comebacks. I was glad when she finally learned to trust Brian. I was also glad she wasn't a pushover and stuck to her guns when it came to some important things.

I was SO glad to see the Wright mens grandma. She legit has no filter and says whatever is on her mind. And, I love it! I was glad to see his brothers and Donnie. ESP Garrett. Incase you forgot he's my man lol. But, he was completely diff then he was in Lie and I can't wait to read his story. These Wright men are addictive and I want more from them.

Mayra hopefully better be writing. BC, I need more from her. She has such a way of writing that you become attached to the characters and the story from the beginning and get upset when you finish the book.

Bryan Wright is a divorced police detective who decides to move out of his brother's house into a house owned by his friend Vaughn McGuire. When he thinks he is moving into a house with two guys he is completely surprised when he discovers the truth.

Valerie Duncan is an ER nurse and long time close friend of Vaughn McGuire. She has never had an easy go of things but as gotten parts of her life together. When she learns that Vaughn has rented out one of the bedrooms of their place she is shocked and mad.

Initially there is much tension between Valerie and Bryan but much of it has to do with the attraction and chemistry between the two. As the two begin a physical relationship will they discover how much they care about each other? When their respective pasts are brought to the future will they be able to get through it together or is it too much to overcome?

I really enjoyed this book and I definitely wasn't expecting some of the twists and turns that the book provided.

Bryan was an awesome alpha male who had great lines and lots of sex appeal. He was humorous and I loved the way he gradually broke down Valerie's walls. I liked the relationship he had with his brothers and his partners. Bryan fought hard to win Val's trust and I loved that.

Val was definitely an interesting character and I admired how she was able to turn her life around so much and get to a successful place. I loved that she was able to fix up cars and the house!

One of my favourite scenes was definitely the chocolate scene!! Making macaroons was never so appealing!

So the twist with Bryan's past was definitely crazy!! I never thought it would go so far although once it got started I really wasn't surprised. Totally crazy!!- By Rebecca

Okay! this is actually my first book review ever!! after reading this book i decided to write reviews on most of the books i read from now on, i actually never saw the point but i decided that i have an opinion and some people might be grateful for that especially when you see all 5 stars on some books and you get confused if you all read the same books you read.

Back to this book, it was an okay book, i did not hate it but i did not like it, i wanted the book to end so bad lol, it got so repetitive, and i like a more realistic book and not insta love/lust kind of book and that is what this book is about, if you like those kind of genres then this book is for you, it is quite similar with the book 1 of this series with the same insta love genre, the heroine actually kissed the hero on their first meeting even when she knew he was a stranger, it was not believable at all.
It was a cute read, i liked the fact that the hero knew what he wanted and stopped fighting his feelings that is why i gave it 3 stars, i wish there was more push and pull, more angst to give the story a more realistic feel, everything just fell easy , even with the whole crazy ex wife plot.
The heroine kind of annoyed me , because she sounded bold and brave but she was not confident in herself, always misunderstanding whatever the hero said and jumping into conclusions it can be frustrating and tiring sometimes.

Please guys send me requests and recommend books for me, i am a HUGE FAN of SLOW BURN romance books, i really enjoy the push and pull and of course the sexual tension between characters. Any nice slow burn romance books kindly recommend them for me. Thanks, i hope some one enjoyed my review and it helped whether to go ahead and read it or not, just for fun i recommend you can read it.

I don’t really know where to start with this. I think this has to be one of my favorite series this year to STEAL my heart, hands down this is going down in my top 10 of 2017!!! So STEAL is book 2 in the Right Men Series and it’s about Bryan Wright who is a sexy detective and Valerie Duncan who is an ER nurse. Did I mention that Bryan is sexy? Ok I just wanted to make sure you got that part! So Bryan and Val met when their mutual friend lied to Bryan and then failed to mention to Val that she’d be getting a new roommate. The chemistry is off the charts between these two and man there’s only so long Val can keep avoid him by taking extra shifts at the hospital!! I wanted to scream at her to just give in already, you know you want to, hell I wanted too!! You know that there’s not a good story if you don’t have the crazy ex right? I don’t mean just oh, I’m showing up on your doorstep to remind you how much I still love you. I’m talking about that psycho ex that brings you your high school letterman’s jacket and leaves it on your front porch with the house you currently sharing with your girlfriend. I’m not about to give away the rest of the good stuff but I will say this….You want a story that has all the heartfelt emotions and shows you what a true relationship is and how you have to work at it with all the hot sex and drama you could ask for? Then this story is definitely a story you need to get!! I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

I'm such a fan of Mayra Statham total fan girl here , I'v read almost all of her books and Steal has got to be one of my top reads . From the very first page I was hooked wanted to see how this was going to play out and what a hot / awkward way to meet someone the misunderstandings had me laughing while blushing . If I would ever need a roommate the qualifications would be everything that is Bryan and his alpha gruffness I mean wet panties kind of voice people . Adored Val / Duncan she is everything I look for in a heroine and more total girl crush . This couple is off the charts smoking hot the foreplay and sex scenes had me in dire need of a cold shower or better yet a date with a friend . Can't wait to read more by this author shes amazingly talented

I love this author's books and the way she lays them out. The story just grows on you and takes a life of it's own. The characters are real and honest and down right silly. The women are strong and even as screwed up as they may be they are secure in it and always willing and working to heal but recognize and acknowledge their imperfections. Her Alphas and yes they are alphas indeed, are sweet and tender when needed but strong and protective and dominate and true blue. In this case we have Bryan who is divorced and from a wholesome and loving family wild, crazy and loud, and then there's grandma. He is scarred by his previous marriage, lies, deceit and betrayal. And there is Valarie ~ feisty, sarcastic, with her own story to tell. When Bryan's past jumps up to test their new relationship they will find out if the heart will win the fight or if it will be stolen away.

Funny, encouraging, honest, emotional, with great characters to boot. Another great series from this author where each book is a standalone with crossover characters. It's great because you get more of the story about the characters you love to hate and are dying to hug.

Mayra Statham knows how to always give wholesome stories with a different variation always. Each time she does this it's always nothing short of the best. She has done it yet again Ladies.

This book stole my heart a few pages in. At first it was the plenty LOL moments then the Amazing Dialogue and Hilarious banter. The Absolute Bonus was watching these two fight the chemistry and then watch them fall in love. It was beautiful and so warming. It's so hard to finish a book this good.

Valerie and Bryan are such Good souled ppl. They kind and giving From deep down to thier soul. I adored them and the life they were starting to live.

I loved the twists and turns. Heart stopping moments and an Abundance of hot sexy time so see this book is beautifully balanced. The side characters are just awesome and it's always great to see them again in this book. Can't wait to see who is next.

Another 5 Star read that will have you in a spot from start till finish. Like me you gonna wanna know what happens next so Definitely you will read this in one sitting like I did.

Steal (Right Men Series - Book 2) - Mayra Statham

I was given this book for an honest and unbiased review.

My first book by Maura Statham was the first in this series Lie, but it certainly won me over to Mayra Stathams 's writing and now I've just finished Steal, the second in this series.

Valerie is an ER nurse, sassy and smart, but hasn't had the best start in life. Not the best family background and her best friend and roommate Vaughn shared a similar familial situation. Detective Bryan Wright, divorced hottie moves in when Vaughn has to go away but Bryan doesn't anticipate the chemistry that his new roommate Val and he will share. Add in a stalking crazy ex and you've got yourself a surefire fabulous story.

Totally real characters which are beautifully developed and with great chemistry between them only strengthened my enjoyment of this story and of this series. Can't wait for more from Mayra Statham.

What a Mess.

It was a chore to read this book. The writing and POV was so jagged and inconsistent I was getting whiplash. The author had Bryan’s chapters in third person while Valerie’s were in first. I don’t understand why she wrote it that way because like I’ve said in the beginning, it made this such a chore to read. This book is in badly need of an editor and a full re-write.

With all that said, I could have forgiven the lack of technical fluidity in the book had the story and characters actually been interesting enough. Frankly, this book did not need to be 300 plus pages. Every chapter was repetitive and with no redeemable aspects. Both the hero and heroine were as irritating as the evil ex-wife. The syntax was so unbelievably cheesy that I found myself rolling my eyes the more I read. This should have been a DNF but I gave the author the benefit of the doubt to see if the story actually improve. Spoiler alert: it didn’t.

Steal me anytime!

Steal is a Great addition to the Right Men Series. Steal is Bryan and Valerie's Story. With one of the funniest introductions him flirting with her thinking she is his friend's girl, her thinking that he is batting for the other team, you just couldn't help but think that yeah this is going to be one hell of a ride. Valerie is Bryan's match, she's sexy and sassy and doesn't take his shit. These two get along so well you can't help but just think that they were made for each other. And I have never wanted a hammock more. I love how in this series the men don't think that they can ever find love and just when they least expect it BAM there she is. And Nicola omg I just want to meet this woman in real life. She cracks me up. Can't wait for CHEAT to come out. Definitely grab this one, but read LIE first!!

Totally crazy!!

Book two in the Right Men Series by Mayra Statham was definitely right up my street. I loved Bryan and Valerie aka Handsome and Blondie. Bryan was passionate, fiercely protective, handsome - of course and with just the right amount of humour to his personality he was the full package. Valerie was sweet and sassy, and although at first she was very guarded, she soon opens up to Bryan. The story was full of passion and intensity and the speed at which their relationship develops really suited the couple. They both had secrets that kept them guarded at first, but thankfully this was a couple who liked to communicate, and that I really loved. I also loved catching up with the characters we met in Lie (book 1), I am desperate to hear both Garrett and Donnie’s stories.

A thoroughly enjoyable read, roll on book 3.

Cop Bryan does a friend a favour by moving into his house whilst he is away. His friend fails to tell that Val also shares the house. Val hasn't had an easy life and has had to work hard to get where she is and not become another statistic.

Val and Bryan are drawn to each other from the start and they fight their attraction for each other for a brief time before giving in. However a combination of forces tries to keep them apart.

I warmed up to these characters quickly - I liked Bryan in 'Lie'. He is completely laid back but very protective of those around him. Val hasn't let her past define her and has worked hard to make a life for herself.

I loved the twists and turns of this story and that it was very different to 'Lie'. It was tense and had me on the edge of my seat but it also brought the heat and chemistry with it.

Bryan and Val.

Val had a rough start in life. Her parents were no exactly cut out to be parents. Vaughn was in the same situation. They became best friends and room mates. When Vaughn goes away, he asks Bryan to move in, the only problem was Bryan and Val had no idea about each other.

From the first moment they met you could feel the chemistry sizzling but Val, as stubborn as she was, was not giving in. With Courtney, Bryans Ex Wife, on the loose, Val gets a bit more than she bargained for. Lets just say Courtney is a little bit Physco.

A lovely read about love at first sight and i did enjoy it. However, i felt the storyline was so much like the 1st book in the series. But still a good guilty pleasure read.

Steal has Stolen my heart❤! She did it again! Mayra has a way with words and she keeps proving it time and again. This can be read as a stand alone but I totally recommend reading her other books in the series, Start to finish! Bryan and Valerie have an attraction that cannot be ignored. The chemistry between these two is sizzling hot🔥Bryan lives with his brothers that he loves to no end but he feels its time to make a new start by himself, by the beach....sigh. He soon finds out things wont be going exactly the way he had imagined. I will sum it up for you....1tall, bossy, sexy detective + 1 fiesty, curvy, blonde nurse wearing only a towel+1 hot as hell kiss = a fantastically yummy read.

Please steal my heart!!!!

Once again Mayra Statham has written another hot Alpha Wright brother!! Steal has stolen my heart and I don't want it back!!

Bryan Wright wants to start over, a divorced cop needs his own place. He finds a house to rent the only thing he didn't know was that with this house he gets a new roommate.

Valerie Duncan is a ER nurse who works a lot. One morning she wakes up to a hot stranger in her house. She full of sass and is a ball buster.

From the moment these two meet the sparks are flying and the feelings are on a whole new level.

This book gives the reader everything they love in a romance. Come and enjoy their ride to their happily ever after. Highly recommended.

I loved getting to know Bryan and Valerie. They are both wonderful characters. I love that you get to know them both pretty well and even a bit of the past that helped formed who they are today.
This book has wonderful secondary characters and want to learn more about them. Well not all of them are wonderful but they made for a great story.
This book gripped me from the beginning and I didn't want it to end.
I also want to say how much I love the cover of this book. Its amazing!!!!
It is a book 2 in a series but its also a stand alone. But it will leave you wanting to know what happened in the first book if you haven't read it already. It left me needing the next book because I want to keep getting to know this crazy loving family.
