Life is cool when you are Sam Collins.  I sleep with the richest and prettiest women in the town.  I hire the smartest attorneys to intern with my law firm.  And they are almost always willing to learn - ANYTHING.  The only problem? The girl I have set my eyes on wants to keep things professional.  There was a reason I did not create a no fraternization policy!  My co-workers tell me one look into Sam Collins eyes can make my panties go wet.  I think they are exaggerating until the day he takes my hand, looks deeply into my eyes, smiles and asks my name. Why am I suddenly gushing like Niagara Falls? The law firm that I am interning at seems like a soap opera. Almost everyone is f*cking each other.  No wonder they told me that I would work with 'One partner at a time.'  My luck - the very first partner is bossy and loves to talk dirty.  At work. And now he offers to 'train me.' He thinks he will be able to 'train me' on EVERYTHING that I need to succeed.  And I am starting to love his lessons.

This one was short and sweet but I have to give it 3 stars. I apologize in advance for the rant that this review ended up becoming, here goes:

It felt like the first half was background on CBG and the relationship between C and G. I was bored with the first few pages because of this, I almost DNF but I must have paused my reading at the perfect moment because when I came back the story seemed better and it picked up.

In a nutshell - male MC meets female MC, events ensue, book reaches its climax, G tries to come between male MC and female MC and just when your into it BOOMMMMM book ends! Ummmmm what...... Why so much background if the story was going to be short?! Why allllll the focus on CBG as a company if one of them ends up quitting, one partner hates the whole thing, and the other realized it's time to move on LMFAO! It wasn't a complete waste but there was a few other things I didn't like: female lawyers are SERIOUSLY objectified in the book, female MC was all shy and became freaken fearless with no transition, the fact that he is a known man whore and not once is protection mentioned concerns me, and how did male MC get his shyt together so quickly with basically no incentive?!

★★★★ (4’5 stars)

A new wonderful Mia Ford’s story.
If you read “Train me” you’ll found a hot, sexy story, with a bit of jealousy and how a playboy discover what the difference between love and lust is.

Sam is a well-known lawyer who is famous not only his results in the trials, but also his s*x**l adventures.
But everything will change when Abbie, a recent graduate in law degree, appears in the law firm. She will change her way of thinking, of wanting to get into her pants to get under her skin. But things will not be as easy as they seem, because often the so-called "friends with benefits" can be interposed in a real relationship...
A great story, read in a few hours and is super entertaining, doesn't disappoint at any time. 'And best of all, a great HEA!

★★★★ (4’5 stars)

Good, sexy-sweet read!

I received an Advance Reader Copy for Train Me written by Mia Ford and voluntarily reviewed this book. First-year intern Abbie Walsh just got through her first day of work at Collins Bingham and Goode, one of New York's most renowned law firms. She was chosen to work with marital law expert, Sam Collins, who had his very own reputation: he has done and will do anything in a skirt, both in and out of the law firm's radius. Nickname: "Collins Bangs 'em Good." And yes, her panties got wet immediately upon setting eyes on him, as forewarned.

I enjoyed this story, mostly centered upon Sam and his "go-to"-but-gone-nowhere relationship with his female senior partner, Phyllis Goode, whom he's known since junior year at Harvard Law School. It just so happens that Abbie looks just like Phyllis used to back then; however THIS woman IS interested in Sam for the long haul, not just for the pick-me-up/convenience status that their relationship has never evolved beyond. I felt that perhaps some further dialog between Phyllis and Sam was needed regarding him seeing Abbie, simply because of her territorial personality, as seen in how she acted towards Abbie at the end of the story, and how I believed she wouldn't let him go without a fight, as one of her worst fears had come true.

Train Me is another fabulous book by Mia Ford! I love her writing style and the way she ensnares you from the first page. I really enjoyed Sam and Abbie's story. Sam is part owner of one of the top law firms in New York. He has had a "friends with benefits" relationship with his friend and law partner Phyllis for the past twenty years.Sam has quite the reputation around town and in his law firm. When Phyllis gives him unexpected news Sam promises to straighten up his act. Then the new associates arrive at the firm and Abbie quickly catches Sam's eyes. Abbie in return is drawn to Sam like a moth to a flame. The chemistry between them is undeniable. Abbie resembles a younger Phyllis which causes Sam to confront his feelings for both women. This book kept me wondering who would end up with whom and could Sam truly change his ways? To find out if Sam can let go of his past and who he choses buy Train Me. Train Me is a short and steamy must read that offers both characters' points of view and ends with a happily ever after. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

I wanted to like this story so much more than I did. Sam is a great guy that is a partner in a law firm with two of his friends. Phyllis (partner 1) is his college friend with benefits type friend that is still around in any capacity he needs. Barry (partner 2) is a manic depressive that Sam is always bailing out of bad spots. Although Sam is not a choir boy he does seem to be the best of all of them

Abbie is the new girl in the law firm. As a first year, she is to be passed around every three months to learn from each partner and see what she will want to do in the future. When Sam sees Abbie in the conference room he can't believe what he is seeing.

These two are wonderful characters, but I felt something was missing sometimes, don't ask me what it was I couldn't tell you. And sometimes I was a little creeped out about Abbie being a "younger" version of Phyllis and Sam being so obsessed with that at the beginning. He did get over that thank god, but it did creep me out.

There are several suspects which includes a male teacher June went out for coffee with once and who was also obsessed with her. You will have to read to see how it all turns out.

I reviewed this book as part of an arc program. I loved this book, I thought it was a good story about a middle aged man named Sam who was partners in a law firm with his two best friends, Barry and Phyllis. Sam and Phyllis had a friends with benefits relationship for over twenty years. Sam has always wanted more but she didn't. Barry has a problem with alcohol and has disappeared for a bit. Sam is a playboy and always getting into trouble and bringing bad press to the firm. When the new associate Abbie is hired, she gets Sam's attention and he wants her. Since Abbie looks like a younger version of Phyllis, Phyllis already hates her. Sam and Abbie have a connection and it may be enough for Sam to grow up and face some hard truths about himself. I liked how the characters in this book had real things to overcome and I thought Mia did a great job with making them likeable and telling the story of their friendships. Great one.

I liked parts of this book but other parts I found long-winded. It took me a while to get into the story and I felt like the story was slightly dragged out. It seemed longer than it needed to be. I liked Abbie instantly but I only started to like Sam towards the end. I was irritated with the hold Phyllis had on him. He kept going back to her and didn’t see that he was wasting his time. I was happy that Sam finally saw Phyllis for her true evil self.

Sam Collins is one of the senior partners at a successful law firm. He has a reputation for sleeping with any woman he wants. When a fellow senior partner and his friend with benefits, Phyllis, threatens to leave he decides to try and be better behaved. When a new bunch of interns start at the law firm, Sam soon lays claim to Abbie Walsh, he has to have her!

This book was super hot about a lawyer group made by three really great friends from Harvard whom after years was one of the best all over New York. Sam Collins was the cocky lawyer who got into screwing his clients and his workers till Phyllis his other partner tells him that he is embarrassing the firm they had a relationship mostly sexual through out the years but it was only that so after their current encounter and he promises to not get involve with the new recruits they go meet them didn't expect to find Abbie who looked just like a young version of Phyllis with the red hair and light colored eyes he couldn't help himself and found a way to get them to work together and ends up falling for her and even though he's teaching and training her she is teaching him what true love is all about

This is the story of a 45 year old hot rich divorce lawyer who has had an on again off again friends with benefits relationship with his bitch of a business partner for 20 years. I felt like he really wanted more from her but she was never willing to give it. The way he describes her and there past left me feeling a little sad for him. In walks young new smart intern who happens to look just like said partner when she was younger and instantly he wants her. He fixes it so she works and trains under him, sparks fly and maybe he finds something in her he's always been missing and didn't know it. Love her best friend and roommate. Always good to have great side characters. All in all a good read, but I kind of felt like Sam shared more of his feelings about Phyllis than he did about Abbie.

A great short read about an older man, Sam, who is a divorce lawyer. He is partners with two others from college. One of whom he has a friends with benefits relationship with for over 20 years. After the latest scandal revolving his exploits, he is asked to keep things on a down low and not embarrass the law practice. When the new interns arrive, it gets harder for him to hold that promise because of a young woman, Abbie, who catches his eye. They hit it off and start their romance on the down low. Unfortunately his F with B law partner, Phyllis, doesn't want him to have his HEA and when Abbie catches her with him in a compromising position, he has a lot of explaining to do. Will she accept it?
A great short read with steamy scenes and about a man who is finally willing to grow up with the woman that will make it possible.

I received an Advanced Reader Copy of Train Me in exchange for my honest review.

Abbie is a Harvard grad that has just moved to New York to start her career at Collins Bangham & Goode. Sam Collins is one of the three founders, and can't keep it in his pants.

Train Me seems to have been written as a very quick read and as stated in the synopsis HOT Billionaire and Virgin romance novella.

I am rating Train Me as a 2 star. It was okay. I tend to get put off when reading if a phrase is use repeatedly (multiple times in the same chapter or so). This was at the start of the book. I wanted to finish the book, since I don't think it's fair to base a book on the first couple chapters. It did get better. I wanted to feel more of Abbie and Sam's story, but it seemed that we spent more time on the partners of Collins Banham & Goode, than on the two main characters.

I love Mia Ford's writing style - she has a way of writing that engages you from the first paragraph. Sam was getting into so much trouble - a great attorney, but indiscriminate in his hook-ups and definitely finding himself in the tabloids far too often. I was a little surprised at the history he and Phyllis had. But when Abbie joins the firm and Sam is her mentor, he knows he needs to be on his best behavior. Does he behave? It's awfully hard to with a young, sexy new associate to work with. Loved the dialogue and the banter, and also Sam's internal battles as he struggles to be better. Does he learn to change his ways? Great and entertaining read! I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

***I voluntarily read this ARC to give an honest review*** This book really gives a close-up view of the practices of law. If you can believe it. Sam leads off telling us that there isn't non-fraternization rule. That's probably due to the fact that he would be the one breaking it all the time. He and his partner Phyllis will get it on anytime she sees fit. They have a friend with benefits relationship that has lasted for years, with Phyllis calling the shots. But a new redhead intern enters the scene, Abbie, and Sam is left with his mouth hanging open. Phyllis tries to pretend she doesn't notice. This is a good read, especially making you hold your breath waiting to see how Phyllis is going to handle the new arrival, Abbie.

Great Build up to End.

Train Me by Mia Ford 4.5 Stars

I really enjoyed reading this, it was different than one's similar to it. There was a vibe that started slow and built in suspense.
If you thought it was gonna jump right into the Sam and Abbie's relationship your wrong.
Sam, Barry and Phyllis law firm is front and center, or Sam's recall of how they came to be.
Psst, pay attention to his memories and see if you can see what really matters.

Interesting, mysterious with a good bang at the end.

Mature readers, strong language and sexual content.

As much as I hate to say it, I was disappointed in this book. The gratuitous use of profanity (and graphic language) detracts from the story, which could have been told better without its use. It sounded like someone who does not ordinarily use this language trying to imagine what someone who does us it would sound like. The characters are one dimensional, and the girls comes off as being weak and uninteresting. The guy just comes across as a bully. There were many grammatical errors that also detracted from the story. I hope in the future, this writer will take the time to develop her plot and characters and have a good editor read it, not only for grammatical errors, but also for story flow and continuity.

I am a Mia ford fan. I love her writing style. I recieved this book in another Mia ford book. I liked the story. There was a few spelling mistakes but nothing to turn me away from enjoying the read. Hot scenes too.
Overview. June was a 5th grade teacher. She was have a problem with a student Brett. She called Mr. Thomas March to have a parent teacher conference about Brett’s behavior. When Mr March comes in, June was shocked. He was older and gorgeous. Thomas couldn’t believe how cute June was and knew he needed to have a date with her. Something was different about her that drew him in. He hasn’t been with anyone since his divorce. Between Thomas’s crazy ex and June’s stocker, they go through life changing events. But their love grows.

I loved this story! A "player" who discovers he is unconsciously 'tied" to woman who doesn't want him but doesn't want him finding a emotional attachment elsewhere. Sam finally discovers true love but must struggle against his reputation and his friend with benefits who is out to destroy it. The beauty of this story is discovering mutual love and boiling hot passion that Sam is willing to give up his promiscuous ways for. Great characters whose pain and struggles are easily understood and point blank dialogue that shakes your emotions and the perfect ending that makes you cheer, smile and sigh! Just wonderful reading!! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book (less)

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. Another fabulous book from Mia Ford! I really liked Abbie and Sam's story. It was filled with so much steaminess from the beginning. Abbie is a a new associate lawyer at Sam's firm. Her friend fill her in on what type of man Sam is and that he goes through women quickly and seems to always return to his friend and partner at the firm, Phyllis. Abbie goes in knowing fully what type of man he is. She can't help herself though. She is very drawn to him and Sam seems very drawn to her.To the point he decides he is going to be friends only with Phyllis from here on out. I loved the whole story line an the HEA.

Mia Ford has done it again. Train Me is the story of Abbie and Sam. Sam is the owner of the law form Collins Bangham & Goode along with his two partners Barry Bangham and Phyllis Goode. Sam and Phyllis have an on again/off again friends with benefits relationship for the past 20 years. Abbie is one of the new associates with the firm. When Sam first sees Abbie he is immediately drawn to her and devises a plan to get her to work for him so he can get close to her. His plan works and as they work together they grow closer. You will need to read the book to see where these two go from here. I absolutely loved this book. This was an awesome read and I definitely recommend it.

This is my first book by Mia and her writing style is fantastic I differently will read future books by her. Sam has a friend with benefits who he thinks he is in love with and hopes some day she will come around. Phyllis Sam's friend with benefits always keeps a distance between them until a younger girl name Abbie comes into the picture now Phyllis feels threatened by her beauty and young body. Phyllis only wants the benefits with Sam but doesn't want him involved with anyone else, but love will prevail and so starts Sam and Abbie's love story. I recommend you read this their story it will pull you in and keep you there till the end.

This was a cute quick read. I'm voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
Sam has been unknowingly waiting for his law firm partner/friends-with-Benefits Phyllis since junior year of college. When he does something stupid, she comes and takes him over the coals and he's tired of it, but she flashes the goods at him and he's over the desk with her bent over in a hurry. Then comes Abbie, a first year lawyer just joining the firm. She's got the same fiery red hair as Phyllis, but that's where the similarities end. After their first date, they're hook on each other, but Phyllis isn't happy with the situation and is read to bring out the claws.

Didn't Care For the So-called Hero

I wanted to like this book, and there were glimmers of liking Abbie, not completely naive or inexperienced, just a bright young attorney without much exposure. But Sam...irredeemable, in my eyes. I wanted nothing good for him, only payback. His actions were beyond the pale, and pouting aside, he never grew up, he just got discarded by his old rewards (and those were replaced with new, better rewards, so why change?).

The other major issue was the resolution of the major conflict. This felt sketched, not full. The story needed a lot more to not have me screaming at the end, "This is ALL!? The END?!!" Even the so-called extended excerpt was brief and unilluminating. Sad that I didn't care for this effort.

Sam is alpha male with a very free spirit. He has for years had a friend/partner in his Law firm. She has been using him for sex when she was insecure in herself. Sam has had some feelings for her, but they have faded and it is now only for the sex. He seeks more than that.
New interns start and Sam sees the girl he has been longing for. Now the catfights start.

I low the way Mia Ford describes the chemistry between the main characters. You get caught by the story.
You find yourself entertained while reading this book. You laugh and get amused by the comments and characters.
The plot is fine and expected.

I was hooked from first page and find it worth reading!

Abbie Walsh is a young intern at Collins, Bangham and Goode. Meeting Lawyer Sam Collins is a life changing experience for both of them. Sam is hot but has a reputation and he can't believe how alike she is to Phyllis his fellow lawyer, but a younger version. It doesn't help he has had an on/off relationship with her for years. This story makes you realise that life is short and you should appreciate everything life has to offer. A good story but would have liked it to be longer so we could see where Sam and Abbie's relationship is going. Maybe an Epilogue from the author Mia Ford updating things would be good.

Loved this book!! This was emotion roller coaster between two partners of a law firm who had been friends with benefits since college. Phyllis who never wanted Sam in a relationship and Sam who waited hoping she would change her mind. Even though they know they were better friends than together. Phyllis felt threatened by any new young girl who came into his life or the firm.
Along comes Abbie a new firm intern who reminded him of Phyllis in some ways but who could make him feel what he d been missing all these years.

Sam is used to getting anything and everything he wants, so when the new employee says no, he has a hard time understanding it. But all she wants is to learn the ropes in her new career and doesn't want to mess it up with a relationship. Things quickly change for the better when they just can't fight their attraction any more. Although his law partner might have something to say about it. I absolutely love all of Mia Ford's books. The sexiness and love are pure and very much developed. I voluntarily read an Advanced Review Copy of this book.
