I looked exactly how a princess should look.
BEASTING BEAUTY: by Madison Faye is the first book in the ( Possessing Beauty) series and is spoken in 'Dual Perspectives'
Before hitting this book I was in a huge book funk, this was super quick, super quick inta - love over the top cheesy bucket inducing goodness.
If you’ve read the series His Princess by Alexa Riley then this book will be right up your alley.
Normally I'd have my finger down my throat begging for a bucket because generally these aren't my prefered reads but it did get me out of my funk. Don't be fooled thinking because it's a short read you won't connect with the story because that isn't the case with this, as soon as I started this I got hooked.
Isla knew what was expected of her since she was young, even though she wanted to turn her back on all things Princess related it was bred in her.
Logan against his better judgement tagged along with his friends to the ball of the century even though he wasn't interested in finding anyone since he'd been cursed four years previously it was highly unlikely he'd find a mate any way.
So with a thrust of the hips they were ready to hit the ball
She noticed 'Prince Logan Anders' as soon as he walked through the doors. A broody, scary looking viral man who captivated her with his sheer size.
As soon as his eyes connect with hers he's zapped with cupids arrow and he just know she's it for him. Instant love hits him right in the heart.
A curse lifted, a heart mended, and a queen to complete me.
Sooooo if you're looking for a mindless, over the top, sexy as fuck hot read then look no further than this book, it ticks all the boxes.

King of Avlion has finally agreed that it was high time for Ilana, Imogen, and Isla to start finding suitable matches for marriage. Thus the King Lucian’s “suitor’s ball has been organized. Eligible men of the right means and pedigree will attend the ball in order to marry his daughters. There will be also were a number of eligible princesses that were now at marrying age who’d be joining the princesses.
All the stories in this series are taking place in this ball. The first four books focus on the stories of the three princesses and their best friend princess Adele. All of them will be claimed before the ball is finished:
1. Princess Isla and Prince Logan of Torsund (or “Beast Prince” because he is cursed)
2. Princess Imogen and Magnus, Prince of Zale (or “Prince Magnum” because size matters)

This was a hot little read! It's a "Beauty and the Beast" themed romance set in modern times. I'm a sucker for growly, aggressive hero's and you get that with Logan. Isla is a modern day princess, innocent and sweet but not whiny or fake. I loved it! It looks like Isla's sisters are going to get a story with Logans fellow Prince buddies. I'm looking forward to seeing what fairytale theme this author will choose for them. ARC provided by author.

Hot, short and sweet. Instalove. OTT alpha. no cheating or ow/om drama whatsoever. What's not to love?? ( except the lackluster epilogue) I have to admit, I'm skeptical about Magnus (book 2), he seems mighty douche-y.

I love Beauty and The Beast retelling stories and this one was fun to read. Insta-love with an OTT alpha.

She's the youngest daughter of the King of Avlion. It's the day of the suitor's ball hosted by her father. It's a ball for his daughters to find each of them a husband. She didn't want to be there until she laid eyes on him.
Logan was cursed four years ago. He's the reigning Prince of Torsund. He isolated himself, retreating to his castle. And now, he's attending the ball not expecting he'll ever find love and the one who'll break the curse.
The epilogue was okay. Not the type of epilogue I'd love though.

5 Fast, Sexy Stars
Wowza, this book was HOT!!!! I was in the mood for a quick n sexy story and this sure as heck was it!
Loved the story, the pace, the sexual chemistry was like a five alarm fire, whewwww, it was incredible!
This was so OTT insta everything but it was done oh so right:)
Will be adding this author to my list of go-to reads in the future:)

So I only found this book on Kindle Unlimited because someone on GR was reading like the 5th book into the Possessing Beauty Series. I sadly have no idea who was reading it at the time but I applaud you for bringing this series to my attention.
Beasting Beauty is a retelling of Beauty and the Beast, obviously. It's a super easy and quick read - I'm pretty sure Kindle says it takes an hour for a normal person to read it. I'm not normal, so it definitely took way less than that. I devoured this book because I just love anything that has to deal with a Disney retelling.
I loved everything about both of the main characters. I liked the whole idea of the prince being "cursed" because he would just act like a GRADE A asshole which he called him being a beast - instead of ya know.. turning into a beast.
Seriously, I loved everything about Princess Isla and Prince Logan. I didn't even care that there was some insta-love going around. I enjoyed the hell out of this book and I can't wait to finish the series.

*Spoiler Alert - kind of*
After reading this, I debated between one star and two. When I got around to writing a review, I had to go with one star. Here's why:
This seemed to be written for idiots, the insta-lust, insta-sex notwithstanding. While I know nothing of palace protocol, I do know - using common sense - that: 1. A palace guard wouldn't high-tail off from another man's threat (ie when Prince Logan barks at a guard - in another king's castle - to leave, so he could basically seduce and bone a dumb-ass princess). And...2. For a search to finally happen after the princess and prince had been missing from the ball for a very long time. And...3. The fact that the same prince finds the secret entrance to the princess's bedroom, to screw around, 'roaring and screaming' without any interference. Really?
Plus - there were a few annoying typos.
But...what really made me squeamish...
The book was up front with stating that it was chock-full of nasty. Okay by me - as long as I get a story, and there's no m/f buttsexx. (Shockingly - I don't recall any buttsexx). It stated that 'all characters in the book are over eighteen years of age, yadda, yadda, yadda'...Okay. The heroine - Princess Isla - is eighteen years old, and petite...small. That wouldn't have been a problem for me.
What was a problem was the fact that the author kept telling the reader this ad nauseam. With details of the princess's anatomy bordering on that of a pre-pubescent girl. Her 'tiny hands' which could barely fit around Prince Logan's schlong, her 'tight little hole', along with several other 'tiny' descriptors, including 'I scooped her tiny body up in my arms...', 'inching inside her impossibly tight little cunt', blah, blah, blah.
All of his years of not desiring any other woman because of a curse - and Logan suddenly wants to fuck and dominate a little girl, basically. His 'little Princess.'
Yuck. This book left a nasty taste in my mouth. I read it to its conclusion, so that I could prove myself right when commenting on the over-use of child-like descriptors in reference to the princess.
Oh - and the book cover, while hot, doesn't go with the story at all.

This reminded me of the Alexa Riley 'Princess' series.
This is set in modern time although I must admit I never really got my head around that, not at it mattered.
Prince Logan used to be a womaniser until a curse was placed on him turning him darker, meaner and he hasn't even looked at a woman in the four years since it happened.
He's at the suitors ball simply because he has to be but the second his eyes meet Isla he knows she's the one, the one that can tame the darkness and bring light back into his life.
You know how it goes from here and it's a fun journey helped by the fact that I liked both the main characters.
While I enjoyed this read I'm not sure there's enough here to make me want to continue on.

This book was hot and short. Reminded me of an Alexa Riley book, so I liked it. I kind of wish the author went into more detail with his beast and the story was a bit longer but the epilogue was super cute and sets you up for book 2.

Oh this was so short and perfect ! I loved the H and h. It was so romantic and sexy that true love cured him of his "curse"; just like a fairytale. Sigh...
I had read book 2, Stealing Beauty before this and did not think that I would like any of this series' heroes more than I loved Magnus but the H in this story is far more appealing to me than sexy Magnus. This H is just as sexy as Magnus but I was more drawn to his dark, brooding personality. Magnus had been more lighthearted because he hadn't been "cursed" like the hero in this novel. The heroine Isla was just too sweet and lovable too. She was just perfect for the H and their insta-love was even greater than Magnus and Imogen's in Stealing Beauty.

I loved this book!!! Short and super sexy. Madison really knows how to write hot, possessive alpha males and innocent strong virginal women with the insta-love and all that comes with it. I can't wait to read more about Logan's friends and Isla's sisters and friend. It seems that all their stories happened at the same Royal ball. I can't wait to read about everyone else's story.

Short, smutty, sexy read based on the BATB trope- with the cursed prince Logan and the innocent rebel princess Isla.
I thoroughly enjoyed this short read and can't wait for the other sisters to find their dirty HEAs too. (I'm so excited book 3 is a ménage+ Magnus and Imogen are next!)

A good modern day telling of The Beauty and Beast featuring brooding hero, Prince Logan and bookish heroine, Princess Isla.
Ilsa's father is King Lucian of Avlion and he's throwing a suitor's ball for his three daughters and their friend, Princess Adele. Prince Logan was cursed by a witch four years earlier because of his worldly desires of chasing fleeting beauty as a temporary escape in the arms of a stranger." When he sees Princess Isla he immediately knows that she is the one!
This was nicely written story but I really wanted to know more about Logan's curse. I will still read Ilana, Imogen and Adele's stories to Magnus, Cade, and Caspian who were also getting busy the same night that Logan met his Isla!

This is one seriously hot story. I have to say this story felt alittle like Deja vu when reading this story but its all good because I seriously loved the heat and chemistry between the main characters. It's a "Beauty and the Beast" themed romance and it is set in real time, modern which I loved.
Prince Logan is a cursed prince who has a beastly personality, one who is very alpha in all he does. He can be dominant and oh so possessive , especially when it comes to the heroine Princess Isla. He saw her at a neighboring kingdom's matchmaking ball and it was like love at first sight for him. Isla is very innocent and sweet, definitely not used to dominant , highly sexual men like Logan. Logan knows Isla is it for him and that she can free him from the curse put on him. Logan has to overcome a lot of have his princess, including overbearing fathers and nasty witch-y curses. What will happen? Where do you want to start? Well, you have to read this awesome new series from Ms. Frye because I loved it. It is fresh and has a lot of steamy, intense, passionate scenes with a great plot. I cannot wait for book 2.

Prince Logan is a cursed prince who has a beastly personality, one who is very alpha in all he does. He can be dominant and oh so possessive , especially when it comes to the heroine Princess Isla. He saw her at a neighboring kingdom's matchmaking ball and it was like love at first sight for him. Isla is very innocent and sweet, definitely not used to dominant , highly sexual men like Logan. Logan knows Isla is it for him and that she can free him from the curse put on him. Logan has to overcome a lot of have his princess, including overbearing fathers and nasty witch-y curses. What will happen? Where do you want to start? Well, you have to read this awesome new series from Ms. Frye because I loved it. A modern picture of princes and princesses with a little bit of fantastic elements. In this story we have a young virgin heroine and a troubled with a curse prince. There is a ball, someone goes missing and maybe a curse is broken.
A quick read with a happy end. I found the writing pleasing and, except of the obvious sex, there is actually a small story line which I appreciated. As a first book in this series it only made me want to check out the other stories.
It was interesting enough to keep me engaged with more. It's always difficult to write a review for such short reads. You don't know when to stop so there is enough and not too much :)
I would recommend it to readers that are looking for a short story between more serious books. Like a little television ad. It will not add anything significant to your life but it will let you take your break.

My roommate and I read this together and I haven't laughed this hard all semester. We read it in two parts because yikes. Guys his dick was 12 inches long and the width of the love interests two wrists put together, AND there were over 325 italicized words along with some editing errors. My favorite thing from this book is that the characters were prone to "husking." "She husked/ he husked" were dropped at least 5 times throughout the book, which in my opinion is 5 too many. It was so bad and yet ABSOLUTELY worth $0.99 for the pure entertainment value.
