Despite the odds, Kalinda has survived it all: Marriage to a tyrant. Tournaments to the death. The forbidden power to rule fire. The icy touch of a demon.
That same demon now disguises itself as Rajah Tarek, Kalinda’s late husband and a man who has never stopped haunting her. Upon taking control of the palace and the army, the demon brands Kalinda and her companions as traitors to the empire. They flee across the sea, seeking haven in the Southern Isles.
In Lestari, Kalinda’s powers are not condemned, as they are in her land. Now free to use them to protect those she loves, Kalinda soon realizes that the demon has tainted her with a cold poison, rendering her fire uncontrollable. But the lack of control may be just what she needs to send the demon back to the darkest depths of the Void.
To take back the empire, Kalinda will ally with those she distrusts—and risk losing those most loyal to her—to defeat the demon and bring peace to a divided nation.

As usual my review will contain spoilers so stop reading if that bothers you.
As I think I mentioned in my review of the second book in this series, I am now hooked. Each book in this series has been better than the last. Kalinda has also gained respect, and power over her abilities in increments over the course of multiple books (not to mention her entire childhood dedicated to training) so at no point do I feel like she suddenly just became powerful for the sake of plot.
What I liked most about this book is the change in circumstance. We are no longer dealing with a tournament but the fate of the entire planet. It is no longer a story of individual survival and has become a full-on battle for the human race. The overwhelming power of the voider's army, as well as his own power and his connection to the prince and Kalinda keep the tension high at every moment in the story.
What I like most about the author's writing is she never seems to forget about the minor characters. It's not to say each character is given substantial screen time (let's be honest that would be weighty and unnecessary) but they do feel real, they do feel grounded with real motivations brought on by real backstories and the ones who change aren't rapid changes for the sake of plot but actual development in the characters themselves.
Honestly, my only knock on the story now is that everyone seems to be described as attractive and whenever a woman sees a man (because all the men are attractive) they swoon. I understand this is probably to demonstrate how oppressed women are in this society that they rarely get to see, or freely talk to men so they see men as these mythological creatures of hotness but there was just something about the dynamic that took me out of the story.
Anyway, I really look forward to reading the fourth book!
This book was action packed from the first page. No slow moments, only action, war, magic and demons. I adore how the Demons really came to life in this book. It reminded me of the Titans in Greek mythology! I love the writing, characters, and storyline. The plot is executed incredibly!
This book series is completely amazing! You need to read this series!
I fell in love with Kalinda's spirit and her soul in the first book and ached to know more through out the rest of the series. I literally could not wait for each book to come out and when they did I read them I was engrossed start to finish.
This book was difficult as Kali found herself trying to figure out if she should follow her heart or choose her duty to the throne. This was all shadowed by an impending war with the demon rajah and his blinded followers. Kalinda faces heartbreaking trials and has to focus on being true to herself. I laughed, cried and ached with the characters. I don't know if Emily is planning on writing more for this series but my heart begs her to.
I was given a copy of this book from NetGalley and the publisher for a fair and honest review.
In the first book, The Hundredth Queen we follow Kalinda, an orphaned sister warrior who wants to spend the rest of her days with her best friend at the temple where she was raised when all of a sudden shes claimed by the Raja to become his last wife. From there shes ordered to fight in a tournament against any of the Rajas courtesan who wish to take her place. Appalled with the Raja for mistreating his courtesans and turning sister warriors against each other Kalinda tries to find a way out of her marriage.
Kalinda is a strong and honorable character with realistic vulnerabilities. I liked getting to see more of Kalindas friendship with Indah and Natesa. I connected to so many of the side characters that I was rooting for the different romantic couples more than Kalindas. I loved how the secondary characters romance wrapped up at the end. Love triangles seems to be a constant theme for Kalinda and since I still find Deven whiny I wasnt as invested in her relationship with him. I ended up prefering Prince Ashwin despite his faults.
Its wonderful how the plot and the world expands with each book. I enjoyed visiting Kalindas home again and the epic demon fighting. The grief and forgiveness themes added an extra layer of depth to the story. The mythology and setting was beautifully written. The short chapters helped the pace keep moving. I loved how the female friendships and the female empowerment vibe grows with each book. Im looking forward to the fourth and final book coming out in 2018. Id recommend this is you enjoy books like the Wrath and the Dawn.
The Rogue Queen is the third book in The Hundredth Queen series.
I was hoping that this was the last book in the series since my attraction to this series was starting to dwindle. But of course, the series will have another book coming out around August 2018.
The story is about Kalinda and her group trying to find a way to destroy the demon disguised as Rajah Tarek. New alliances are made and old dangers reappear. Add Kalinda's corrupted powers into the mix, and things get even more complicated.
Overall, I enjoyed the story.... but this series has lost some of the sparkle. The romance was a bit bland and the characters just became boring. Some of the scenes were just a drag to read, and I wanted to stop reading it entirely. I really hope The Warrior Queen turns things around.
Smash the patriarchy is right! In the thrilling third installment in The Hundredth Queen series, Kalinda must risk life and love in an attempt to banish the demon disguising itself as Rajah Tarek. This story is filled with action, adventure, and lots of swoony romance that will keep readers on the edge of their seats!
Just like the two previous The Hundredth Queen books before it, THE ROGUE QUEEN serves up some serious girl power! Reading these books is such an empowering and inspiring experience. These books are an amazing lesson in sisterhood and Kali is certainly a hero that young girls can look up to.
While the women are my favorite parts of these stories, King also writes some incredible male characters as well. Not only are the heroes in these stories strong and dreamy, they are also feminists themselves. I love the way these characters believe unfailingly in Kali's strength, capability, and leadership. They are always there to help Kali, but they don't feel the need to save and protect her, and I LOVE that.
I really enjoyed getting to see more of the world in this third novel in the series. It was really neat to get a better sense of the larger political picture and watch how the various countries allied themselves when it came time for the final showdown. It was also fascinating to see how different people from different regions valued the Bhuta magic.
The elemental-based magic system was beautifully crafted. King did a great job of establishing rules for the different powers, so that the magic never feels too easy or convenient, and while it was so much fun to see Kali wielding her power with greater strength than ever before, the limitations of her power also really served to add some fantastic tension to this story.
While the romance is certainly not the star of this story, it still plays a major role, and King did a great job of weaving it through the novel without allowing it to overpower the plot. There is a love triangle in this story, and it's so much fun! Not only are both of the love interests incredibly dreamy, but this love triangle is much more complex than it appears to be on the surface.
This is one very fast-paced story. There is so much action throughout the story and with the stakes at such a constant high, this book is unputdownable!
I would recommend these books to anyone! Not only is the story itself a lot of fun to read, but I feel that everyone, men and women alike, could take away so many great lessons on feminism from this series.
The ending is phenomenal and will leave readers wanting more! While the story felt largely resolved, there is one element that ends on a cliffhanger, and I'm absolutely dying to find out what happens next. I'm so glad we're going to be getting a fourth novel in this phenomenal series.
Not as good as the second one, though better than the first. The love triangle wasn't done well, or it didn't work well for me (not really fond of love triangles), and I ended up rooting for the other guy (Ashwin) and disliking Deven a little. Also, things got a little convenient at times, with Tarek so powerful and at the end defeated so easily. But again, I had the urge to read to the end, so that's a good thing - though I think the story would've been better if this was the last book. It feels like the author decided to alter the ending to make a fourth book possible. I haven't read the fourth book yet though, so I can't say if my assessment is right.
"I am born of the stars, and I will see them shine again"
* * 2 / 5
The Rogue Queen does better than the second book; it has moved beyond the "tournament" style plotline of the first two books and tries to tackle a more "epic war" plotline between three opposing forces: Kalinda and her allies, the demon disguised as Rajah Tarek, and the bhuta rebels. I didn't find it particularly interesting, but the pacing, characters, and writing are all generally better than in The Fire Queen.
"Dutiful men are all the same - martyrs. You want for everything but take nothing for yourself"
Prince Ashwin has released the Voider to fulfil his heart's desire, and the demon has taken the form of Rajah Tarek, raised an army, and is storming the capital of Tarachand to reclaim the empire. Kalinda, Deven, Ashwin, and a few others oppose him; but their secrets, loves, and desires are tearing the trio apart. Deven thinks to give up on Kalinda, leaving her to take the throne and the role of Kindred; Ashwin thinks the best way to peace is to meet with Hastin, the leader of the rebels; Kalinda sides with Ashwin, further tearing her and Deven apart. Whilst Ashwin and Kalinda return to Kalinda's once-home, the temple of Samiya, Deven seeks his brother Brac and Rohan's sister Opal, whose glider crashed in the lands of the enemy. Time is short and the end draws near.
I love a good war novel. Something with high stakes and clashing kingdoms and warring armies and treaties and tricks and lies. I love something grand and ambitious and wild. But The Rogue Queen was tame and predictable; there's a few army camps and a bit of backstabbing, all well appreciated and part of what I preferred about this book over The Fire Queen, but it was never quite enough for me. Kalinda has a romance problem, Kalinda seeks allies, Kalinda runs into trouble, that trouble is then resolved in the nick of time. It's a well-worked formulae.
Agony has a long memory and the cold inside me will not let go
There's the reappearance of few characters from the previous books that people might be glad to see: Tinley, for one, and Mathura, Deven's mother. There's some airships and demon spells and magic otherworldly portals that give this story some spice. But what isn't spicy? The romance. It does finally choose a direction following a "shocking" reveal from Ashwin, and it was nice to see some firm decision making from Kalinda and attempts to make amends, but I still didn't care much for it.
The ending? Supremely ambiguous. I was under the impression that this was a trilogy, but the ending is open; it could reasonably be finished, in that the big overarching plotline of the three books is wrapped up and there's some sense of closure, but it also massively implied that there would be another book. I think this is the end of the road for me. I'm done with Kalinda and her story, it's suitably finished for me, though I might potentially consider reading more by King if it had a killer premise. I think she'd be quite good at a standalone - I really did enjoy The Hundredth Queen, but the sequels? Not so much.
My thanks to Netgalley, the publisher and the author for an ARC of this book
Many thanks go to Emily King, Skyscape, and Netgalley for the free copy of this book in exchange for my unbiased review.
I have every book in this series. It's very fluidly written. It's also really good on audio. The main female character doesn't always come across as strong as I'd like her to be though. She's really mushy . In fact there is just about as much romance in these books as there is adventure. I'm not much on love stories. But I do love magic powers, so sometimes that balances out. I think the villain could be much more ruthless too. I think that's what I need-more extremes.
Rating for this one is 2.5 stars, which I hate to give it cause I really wanted to like it =/
The previous book, The Fire Queen, left off on a cliffhanger of their escape. This book picks right up where that one left off. However, it really picked up and ran away with the "love triangle" that had been hinting heavily in the previous book. Bleck! That is an instant star deductor right there. And this book smothers you in this horrendous triangle. And it is the most stupid-ass triangle ever & I want to throttle Kali for being so dense. So, in book 2, she gets the impression that Ashwin fancies her, yadda yadda, wants to keep her as his queen. Well she swears up and down that she is entirely devoted and in love with Deven. That's where book 2 leaves off.
Well book 3 just makes things bloody weird between them. Kali got infected with the demon rajah's "cold fire" and it's smothering her inner flame. So basically she's freezing all the time. Well she's such a dense little popsicle in this one, cause she can't figure out while Deven is SO upset when he keeps finding her cuddling up with Ashwin or kissing him, etc. Like wtf girl? You swear to the gods you're in love with Deven, but then are making out big time with Ashwin and wonder why Deven is angry?! *pounds head with book* I seriously wanted to smack some sense into her the entire time I was reading this book. I know that's a bit harsh, but good lord she was dense in this one. And completely selfish, and whiny, and just so many other things. I loved her in the first 2 books, but this one I just had it with her. Deven deserves so much better. Even Deven's mother, Mathura . But you know it was mostly for the sake of her son. *sigh*
Now Kali claims she just can't stay away from Ashwin because she's so bloody cold, and his soul fire is so warm, and he gives it freely (unknowingly really), in which case Kali is just being parasitical and stringing Ashwin along as well. I don't even like him, but I'm still mad at Kali for mistreating both boys. It's so degrading, and her character growth just plummets in this book. I never thought I would ever dislike her so much. Even if she's cold and he's warm, there's no need for kissing to make him think she actually likes him. Just wrong. And later on in the book she literally starts parching people, including . That's where I really lost it. Well I should say, Kali herself has lost it in this book.
Moving on from the selfish MC...
Natesa is as always, amazing and strong. Everything Kali wasn't in this book. I love Natesa sooooooooo much! I wish her role was bigger. And the relationship between her & Yatin is so damn sweet it practically gives you a sugar rush lol. I also loved seeing more of my other favorite strong ladies; Indah, and then later on we even get to see Tinley again! That made me super happy. And she had a lovely new falcon. We finally meet back up with Mathura again, who I liked in the previous books. We also meet back up with one of Kali's old nemesises, Sarita, and I actually really liked her this time around. Later in the book we also get to see Kali's rani friends: Parisa, Eshana & Shyla, as well as her servant Asha. So many wonderful ladies in this series!
Deven was a little more tolerable in this installment. Well later on in it. At the beginning he pulls a couple irrational stunts that he totally needs swatted for . Just so much stupidity right there. I was cringing and groaning so much at this point. After that point though he comes around a bit. And I love that he actually sort of just gives up on Kali at one point and starts doing what actually needs to be done, rather than follow her on her hair-brained and pointless "mission" to the temple. . He became the general that Ashwin hoped he would be. And Yatin & Natesa were his faithful troops lol.
Some nice surprises we got
I thought the big major fight scene against the demon rajah Udug at the palace was rather anticlimactic after all that buildup. It was brief, and a bit too easy if you ask me. I did like that They were positioned on the wall over the gate though, which totally put me in mind of Aragorn and his friends at Helm's Deep, though way less cool.
Now the final battle at the very end of the book made up for what the first lacked by a fair bit. It was reasonably written and wasn't over and done with in the first five minutes. Actually I should say it was a tasteful bit of action with some really cool ideas when you include the various bhuta skills used. I did like that part of the book with the exception of the ending. And there were even some casualties that make you sad.
Kali was a complete 'tard and went off to fight by herself originally though. I never had to do so much eye rolling while reading the previous books!! I'm a little hesitant to pick up the final one, except I must find out if
I didn't like that the final chapter takes place an entire four months later though. And everything just feels weird and too....put together. I don't know. The transition from having rebel bhutas in charge of Vahni to At any rate, I'll read the final book at some point, because I definitely must find out how everything works out in the end.
Oh, one last spoiler to note She was still a total twatwaffle in this book no matter how you look at things.
To end this review on a happier note though, That made me so happy :)
Nothing will ever make me forgive this ending! Seriously! What the f*! The only good thing about this book was in my opinion the cover. It's gorgeous! The rest? Not so much. Starting with the first book I grew more and more annoyed with Kali and to a lesser degree Deven this book only made it worse. But that is nothing compared to the ending!!!!!
And then we get what? A set up for a Orpheus and Eurydice plot for the next book? Nope, I'm out, sorry not sorry. Yeah, I'm going to go and find myself a book that will help me over the fact that this book was nothing but wasted potential for female badassery ... maybe I'll watch Black Panther again. Those are some badass women! This book? Not so much.
I am really loving this series! For some reason I was thinking that this was the last book, but no. Again I am left with my heart hanging because the ending? Ugh!!
Absolutely nothing comes easy for Kalinda. Her whole life has been one struggle after another. It seems like for Kalinda, along with her little band of friends, there is no break, no chance to relax and no time to breathe. Which is equally awesome and exhausting as a reader as well. The pacing is fast, things are always happening and I love that but by the end of the book I feel like I have to suck in big breath and relax myself!
Because this is book three, these characters are like old friends to me. I am invested in them and I care about them. I'm ready to see some conclusion and resolution for them. I hope the next book is the last book. 😊 And I wish I had it right now.
This is a series that must be read in order. It is on Kindle Unlimited if you have that!
Content: violence, kissing, a fade to black bedroom scene with no details other than the couple wakes up naked together.
- I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher at my request via NetGalley. All opinions expressed are my own.
I have been reading these books for the last year and it was always marketed as a trilogy. As I reached the closing chapters, I quickly realized there was NO WAY this ending could complete the story. Much to my dismay, I learned there had been a fourth book added sometime in the last few months. I understand that life happens and authors are unable to complete a story within the allotted frame. My advice - Don't market it as trilogy!
I have enjoyed each book in the series a little less. I still cling to the magical elements of the first book, which I adored. Kalinda can never seem to make up her mind between love and duty. Devlin is always willing to sacrifice his happiness for Kalinda. The song and dance is getting so old.
I am unsure if I will read the supposed final installment. I am still invested in the characters, but it feels like nothing significant has occurred since the first book.
Thank you to NetGalley and Skyscape for my advanced review copy.
The beginning and end were very good. The middle dragged terribly. But I think the last one will be exciting because it'll shift focus to new problem and be more focused on just Kali and Deven.
A good enjoyable read this book has two characters perspectives to keep it interesting and there is also a few visitors from the past trying to creep back in . Looking forward to the next book.
I received an ARC of this book through NetGalley/Edelweiss in exchange for my honest opinion. I would like to thank NetGalley/Edelweiss and Publisher Skyscape and Two Lions again for this incredible opportunity.

This is the third book of The Hundredth Queen Series. I've already done reviews of the previous books of this series. If you want to read them:
In short, the story of this series takes place in an universe where women are objects that exist only to serve men. Kalinda lived her entire life in a kind of convent where women are prepared to one day be chosen by benefactors, who comes to choose them to be their wives, concubines or servants.
Rajah Tarek, ruler of the whole empire, chooses Kalinda as his wife. She will be the hundredth queen. Every time he chooses a new wife the courtesans who wish can defy this new wife to a duel and take her place. And since Kalinda is the last, it's their last chance.
I'll try to talk about this book without spoiling the other books. For me The Hundredth Queen was a pretty bad book. I thought The Fire Queen was a little better, but more of the same. And even if The Rogue Queen has a slightly different plot, I couldn't care less about the characters. And although it no longer has this idea of a tournament, it added the element of the "love triangle".
But it's a triangle and it's not a triangle. I'll explain. The main character has always liked the same guy since the first second of the first book. The problem is that she agrees with the opinions and strategies of the second guy. Just that. Of course this doesn't characterize a love triangle, but it's enough to create problems and misunderstandings with the guy she likes and I HATE this. A story doesn't need this subterfuge to make the plot denser or create some tension.
So it was an OK book. I began to read this series because I received this third book to review and needed to know the series. Besides, I chose to ask for this book because it seemed very interesting. But it wasn't. I can't stand Kalinda and Deven and their romance. I don't care about the political plot, which for me has been confusing and stupid since the first book. Anyway... I realized that there will be a 4th book in the series, but I can't care enough to want to read it.

Ela será a centésima rainha.
This book had me hooked right from the first page. There is action from beginning to end.
Rajah Tarek has risen from the dead, only its not really him. A demon from the void, released by Prince Ashwin poses as his deceased father. In order for the demon to be free to release his master, he must make Ashwin's wish come true, which is of him ruling over their kingdom. With the demon posing as Rajah Tarek, no one will listen to Ashwin and Kalinda. As war over the empire begins, Kalinda, Ashwin and Deven must find a way to send the demon back to the void, before the world they know is lost forever.
I am so happy with how this series is turning out. I love all the books equally, they are all so different but all very goon in their own ways.
I adore Kalinda, and my opinion of her only keeps getting better and better. After the demon breathes ice-fire into Kalinda, her powers aren't the same. Her once bright flame has turned green, and no healers can heal her from the poison of the demon. We finally see a darker side to Kalinda in this book, and it was absolutely wonderful to read about.
The world building in this book was even better than the previous. We see so many new places, and get a visit to some settings from the first book. The world Emily created sort of just comes together in this book, and it was fantastic to read about.
The plot in this book was definitely my favourite out of all three books. There was seriously action from beginning to end, and there wasn't a moment in the book where I was bored.
Overall, this series just keeps getting better and better and I cannot wait to read the next book (I'm assuming there will be another book based on the ending). I highly recommend this book to all YA Fantasy fans, especially if you loved the first two books.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for providing a copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review.
I received an ARC of this book through NetGalley in exchange for an honest opinion.
The Rogue Queen is the third addition to The Hundredth Queen Series and it was pretty freaking amazing! I think I'm falling even more with Kalinda and her feisty ass spirit. I really liked her character growth throughout this book too and I found the soul fire even more interesting. At the beginning (ish) she's basically fighting for her life and dying because she was poisoned. Then she goes into battle facing a demon, named Rajah.
Kalinda and Deven definitely go through some challenging trials throughout the book. Some were pretty freaking heart breaking and yes.. I was super sad with the ending and I cried like a freaking baby. I think I will have a very difficult time accepting the ending of this book and I seriously need the fourth book stat! I hope that this is some kind of sick joke and everything will be different in the next one.. but I also have a feeling that everything that happened in this book ... well.. was intentional.
Now I'm sad again. I don't want to think about this ending anymore. I need more. I can't wait until August. I need to know who this book is going to be about.. Kalinda? Ashwin? Someone else? WHO?
I received a copy of this book via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you! I fell in love with Kalinda's spirit and her soul in the first book and ached to know more through out the rest of the series. Kali found herself trying to figure out if she should follow her heart or choose her duty. New alliances are made and old dangers reappear. Overall, it's an action packed book which I quickly got through as it builds on its strengths and is good fun
So, I was hoping that the third book in The Hundredth Queen series was a little bit faster paced and exciting than the second and I was not let down. The love triangle that was hinted in the second is also int he third, but it's done in a more realistic, subtle way and not a "Ohhhh I'm so attracted to him and to HIM TOO." Though, I have to be honest, I found myself rooting more for Ashwin than for Devin. Sorrynotsorry.
This is a quick read, like the others so I never really felt bogged down by too much political and was mess like most fantasy novels. It gets to the point and stays there.
Ok, so there's another book coming out which I didn't know until I read some reviews after I finish the book, but I could tell by how it ended. I'd gladly read it.
Thank you Netgalley for the chance to read this arc.
Confession: I totally didn’t read book 2…and it totally didn’t even matter!! How is it possible to accidentally skip 300 pages and not notice? Shame me!!! Book 1’s focus was on the tournament of wives/courtesans for the most part Book 3’s focus is on an all out end of the world war where every choice can alter the course of fate. And yet everyone is dying in the war but nothing is gorey or bloody so its oddly easy to read about it. The ending of book 3 is sad and depressing and truly I am glad readers will get a fourth book I just don’t want it. I actually think book 3 was more sad and filled with loss then book 1 was and they may have had the same amount of deaths.. I think book 1 it was like some stranger died but book 3 you built a relationship with the character so it was more impacting. I loved the intense amount of magic and powers that book 3 held it was way better!! I don’t compare books to other series or try to appropriate them to real cultures because I love to be swept up into it all. I liked the new elements used here and the new choices to make. I truly was more
I think the more this author writes the better the story will get
I feel like this is kind of a pattern, I loved The Hundreth Queen, but The Fire Queen was not as enjoyable as the first book. Sadly this book was even less enjoyable as The Fire Queen, but it did have some good elements. This one was action packed, which I liked. However I hated the all of a sudden love triangle, while I did understand it. The ending was super shitty and in my opinion was only to stretch this out to a series instead of a trilogy, which is sad. This series would have been so much better if it would be a trilogy and the books were a little bigger. I also did not like the fact that everything seemed to happen and be resolved so easily. All in all this book had some major flaws, but I did enjoy it nonetheless.
Wo war die "i am the fire and the fire is me"-Kalinda?
The overall story is still compelling, but if one of your triggers is OW/OM I would NOT recommend this book. In fact, that is the reason it didn’t rate higher for me. While cheating is not necessarily a trigger for me, I don’t enjoy reading about it - at all.
In this installment, Kali and Devon have declared their love and commitment to each other and planned a future together. Then, Kali repeatedly goes after, kisses and wants the prince. Devon even walks in on them! Nope, even though it is later revealed she has an excuse, it just didn’t sit right and I didn’t enjoy the journey. Especially considering the ending. Devon is my favorite character, the most loyal, loving and committed character in the series to those he cares about. So, I’m not enjoying that he NEVER receives any happiness and is the one constantly betrayed, hurt and ruined. I’ll persevere and finish the series with the next book - I’ll just be dragging my feet and complaining while I do it.
WELL, THAT WAS FIRE! I LOVE IT! The Rogue Queen was action-packed and that ending.. holy hell. What an unexpected turn!
I really like the world building in this series! It was fascinating and well-done. The character development wasn't the best but it was likable in any sense. Kalinda had flaws but she made a good character on her own. I had my doubts in Prince Ashwin but it turns out, I was wrong! Deven seems to be one dimensional until the last few chapters. I mean, I didn't hate him. I just started liking him a little too late.
With that being said, this series has been going great for me so far! Really looking forward to the final book!
I wasnt overly keen on this one...... Kalinda does the inexcusable to Indra and doesn't stay to check on her..... along with the ending and how Kalinda treats Devon... I get the boy king is hot but does heat come from kissing him!!!!
It was all a bit boring really..... I liked when Kalinda had a silent strength and bravery this fell short.....
i will read the last book as i need to see what happens but i wasnt as pulled into this as i was the first two.
