Enchanting Mr. Darcy: A Pride and Prejudice Regency Variation
How long does it take to fall in love?
When Elizabeth Bennet arrives at Netherfield to attend to her indisposed sister Jane who is a guest there, she meets her match in the face of the intolerable Mr. Darcy. He manages to wound Lizzie’s pride much worse than he already has at the Meryton Assembly, and that’s before she has even set foot in the breakfast parlor!
An unlikely string of accidents renders Elizabeth always in the wrong place at the wrong time. Not only does she cause a scandal or two of her own, but she also becomes privy to sinister secrets not intended for her eyes and ears. In the midst of all the calamities, she begins to question her initial perceptions of Mr. Darcy whose every action hints he might not be the conceited, arrogant man she’s believed him to be.
Is this new image of Mr. Darcy just a façade meant to conceal a vile secret or will Elizabeth’s prejudices turn out to be thoroughly unfounded?

I did not like the way this book seemed to end in the middle of a chapter!
SPOILERS BELOW >>>>>>
Mr Darcy and Caroline Bingley are engaged when this book ends! Yes, he has a scheme to get out of the engagement but that seems like it would make an interesting plot point.
ODC did not get their happily ever after!

Feels unfinished, book ends abruptly. We needed a least a few more chapters to tie everything together.
