I love reading ménage books and whilst there are not that many well written with an m/f/m scenario, there is a huge amount of really good ones in the m/m/f genre, which Susie’s Choice is one of them and I am definitely going to be reading more of this author’s books.
Some of my thoughts and likes after reading it in one go!!!!!!
*The sex scenes are pretty hot not only between the two men but with the three of them as well. Yes, at times I felt…wow, there’s a lot of sex going on here…yes, there is…lots and lots but wow wow ….there’s a lot of creative writing there!!!! Who would have thought that a new take on Little Red Riding Hood could be so burning hot and sizzling!!!
*Though lots of pages filled with love (okay sex scenes), there is more than that. There is a good plot, great dialogue – I adored Susie’s sense of humor so very much. The character development was really good and we see the growing of the relationship between these three so likeable characters.
Joel, is a gorgeous American corporate alpha male is working temporarily in London, where he meets and becomes involved with Christian, a British writer, the sweetest and kindest guy out there, albeit with a load of insecurity issues. There is a lot of baggage here…both believe (for totally different reasons) that bringing a woman into their relationship will solve all their problems. So enter Susie, who answered the ad they placed in the local paper looking for a housekeeper.
I loved Susie. What a fabulous character. Here is a woman, who has been through an awful and traumatic experience in her life, is being used by her father and two brothers as a servant and still she manages to look at her world in such a good way. She’s witty, interesting, forgiving, thoughtful, loving and loads of fun to be with….there is so much more to her than what I first thought. I became so attached to her that all I wanted was for her to find true happiness…
The two guys….well, did they grow on me!!!! How could I resist Christian…he’s such a caring, lovable, sweet and gorgeous man and Joel..well in the beginning I had doubts but boy did he come through in the end.
Fabulous ending, which I found so endearing....now I want more.... I would love to follow their lives in New York – is there going to be a follow-up I wonder? Love it if so…..in the meantime, I will just have to visit them again by reading this book again…..it’s going on my favorite books shelf now.
Book Description: Wanted. Dead or Alive. Cleaner-housekeeper-miracle worker for two housework-challenged super-busy guys. Three days a week. 9 to 5. Excellent pay for Mother Teresa. Even better for Keira Knightley. And in case we’re called sexist—better yet for Daniel Craig. When lovers Christian and Joel advertise for a cleaner, they aren’t expecting—or wanting—Mrs. Doubtfire, although one of the applicants could double as Mrs. D’s sister. But when little Susie Hood walks into their lives, scraped knees from a tumble with her bike and with the looks and heart of a broken angel, the attraction is instant and irrevocable and it’s all they can do not to lock her up and throw away the key. They want her in their bed, their lives, now…forever… She is everything they wanted, needed—but she has to want both of them. Together, separately, in any and every combination they can think of. As the sexual heat between them escalates, all three are forced to make decisions having far-reaching ramifications. Sometimes choosing love is the hardest decision of all.
