Amelia Jade loves to write the stories of tall, growly shifter men and the women who come to love them. Living out in the back-country near the mountains, she keeps her own alpha male close by, to keep the bears away and keep her warm. In her down time (which is rare), she loves to read science-fiction with a dash of fantasy. You can often find her curled up in front of the real wood-burning fireplace, her nose firmly buried in a book or her favorite ereader. The cold can't bother her there!
If you share her passion for big sexy bears and sleek, steamy wolves, sign up for Amelia Jade's newsletter to receive information about new releases, or how to join her review team!
I would recommend these books to anyone that enjoys fantasy, especially people who like shifters but try a new size, a bigger size, like a dragon. These books interested me because it included all 6 books of this series. Didn’t have to go shopping through out the book lists to find them all.
Frost Dragon 4* Cold As Ice Willing to Sacrifice For Our Love This is a different type of book than Amelia has written before and I really enjoyed it. The book deals with a twist in the shifter genre. These shifter keep to themselves and live intermingled with other species of shifters even though the humans know about them. Another difference is they are not in sync with their animal self and they are not born knowing how to be a shifter.
Asher and Quinn are the new it couple. Looking forward to reading more about the other dragons soon.
Fire Dragon 4* Having My Dragonling Love this series. Once I start a book I just have to finish it, then I want the next in the series quickly. Oh but Alisa makes me wait....pouting. This series is worth reading. Arabella and Lucian reel you in and don't let go.
Electo Dragon 4* Breaking Free Who would have thought it would happen it between them? So much is happening in Cadia but the question is why and why now? I can hardly wait for what the author is going to bring in the next book for another Guardian and the citizens of Cadia.
Having enjoyed the way the author paced the story to keep the reader engaged made it worthwhile to read this book. The interaction between Dom and his fellow recruits seemed more like brothers than strangers training together for almost a year. Now, what surprised me the most in this book was how young Rhynne was compared to the other instructors who were 70-700 years older while she just 34 years of age but seemed older.
Read the books in order to understand and watch how these dragons mature as they train and meet their mates.
Fume Dragon The Cadia series we are getting a look at the instructors from the Guardian Academy. We were introduced to Blaine in that series.
His story picks up after the attack on Rhynne and what’s going to happen to her attacker. Blaine is probably the most laid back of the dragon shifters but watch out when he gets mad.
The story was well told but I do admit to wanting to know more about his parentage as there seemed to be some kind of avoidance on the subject.
Gale Dragon Well Amelia has done another great job with her dragon stories. I picked up this book and did not put it down until I finished it. Oh, this means I read until 2 am and boy was I tired when my alarm went off at 6am.
Having meet Zander Piece briefly in the Top Scale Academy series this book is not part of that series directly. He is one of the younger instructors but he comes from a upper level dragon family. Being the only dragonling of his mother there are expectations he must meet to inherit his family place but he is resistant to complying.
Riss Levion is a human living in a shifter world. She is the product of human/bear pairing but she did not get any of the shifter abilities. She has been discriminated against her whole life but living and working in Cadia will not make her wealthly enough to leave so she stays.
Amelia has woven a story that will keep you wanting to know what is happening next.
Aurum Dragon Daxxton the only gold dragon keeps a promise for more than 5,000 years until fate steps in to give peace. Is it so wrong to be seen as more than the color of your scales?
He trust very few and when the ones who are supposed to protect their city betray them just is swift.
The author has done a good job with this story and the characters roles were nicely developed. This book is well worth reading.
I received this advanced copy of the book from the author and I have voluntarily read and reviewed it.
Alright, these stories were overall just okay. Until Miranda at the end, I didn't like any of the women. They had no personalities. And most were brats. Each story had a small bit of drama that was easily and predictably overcome. I guess that is the word that best describes these stories. Predictable in every way. I almost quit the series several times, but decided to plod through. And every time each couple first got together one of them said "Oh My!" When looking at the others junk. Ummm, that went beyond predictable to just weird. And they all say lovely a lot. Anyway, these would be okay to pass time with, but they aren't interesting enough for me to read the further series. Taking this story from dragons to bears for the Fenris war just seems strange to me.
Great stories of dragons from fresh recruits to grand master reveal a wondrous paranormal world full of surprises, cultural nuances, violence and romance. This is a world that will take you through exciting adventures, puzzling mystery and gripping romance. The personalities of shifters and humans are well defined and interesting. The flow of the over arching plot throughout this series is smooth and detailed. Each book provides clear and fascinating plots that bring it all together to a remarkable conclusion.. Great world and a wonderful read. Looking forward to more books in Cadia.
I love the world of shifters that Amelia Jade has created in this series!! I have now officially read ever book she had written on the wonderful world of Cadia that she has created! I'm so totally in love with all of the different series in this world. You don't have to read them in order but I feel that you get a bit out of it if you do!! Amelia truly has a way of writing a book that draws you into her world and makes you never want to leave!! Plus DRAGONS!! That's just plain HOT!! A must read!!
From the beginning story where we meet three new recruits and their instructors, these books give us a story that focuses around one individual and their mate. At the same time there is an overall story going on in the background that continues through every book. While there is love found, there is also betrayal, danger and violence from within and from outside sources.
Amelia Jade writes a great series of hot, sexy shifter love stories. These stories about The Scale Academy dragon shifter students & their teacher's find their true mates. The stories of each dragon & their mates is unique to how each they meet & overcome what was the problems that were in their way. These are hot, sexy dragon shifter love stories. Please try them.
Amelia's imagination knows no bounds. This held my attention from start to finish and has left me wanting more. Her writing had me sitting on the end of my seat waiting to see what comes next. I love it!
Each of the dragons got their own story and they also find their mate, each one was so different but kept you wanting more with each new Dragon found their true love
