This is the second of three books be Jennifer Ammoscato about the delightfully witty ‘would be erotic (with a difference) novelist’ Avery Fowler and her life with her boyfriend, family and friends. I have to say that this novel is just as funny and charming as the first (Dear Internet, it’s Me Avery).

Avery does not rely on Clementine quite as much in this book, but when she does turn to her online advisor, the giggles simply come out of my mouth before I realise it. I have had some rather odd looks from my family, when I interrupt their TV or movie viewing with a rather loud outburst of giggles or laughter when they are not expecting it. But you cannot help it. Jennifer Ammoscato is a very witty writer and makes it so easy to relate to Avery and the characters in the book.

The relationship between Avery and Ryan Whiteford Becomes even more tantalising, and I keep picking up my kindle to see what happens next….it is addictive! Ryan is lovely, funny and annoying. He seems to put his foot in it quite a bit. The trouble is, I kind of feel for both Avery and Ryan, but then think to myself ‘Ryan should know better, typical man’. Yu will have to read the book to understand what I am saying, but I am sure it will be time well spent and you will have fun along the way.

I am really looking forward to the 3rd instalment ‘The Internet Never Lies’ I am sure I will not be disappointed.

Thank you once again Jennifer Ammoscato for such a fun and easy to read book.

Send your kids on a sleepover and banish hubby to his man cave, because once you begin "The Internet Made Me Do It", you will NOT be able to put it down!

If you liked Avery Fowler in "Dear Internet: It's Me, Avery", you will absolutely LOVE the totally "Live and Unplugged" Avery Fowler 2.0 in "The Internet Made Me Do It".

Our plucky heroine returns with a vengeance (okay, it was a chocolate chip muffin and hazelnut latte; work with me, people!) and you will never look at relationships the same way again!

All the thrills of Canada's Wonderland and Universal Studios US pale in comparison to the rollercoaster ride Jennifer Ammoscato takes you on with "The Internet Made Me Do It"!

Avery strikes again.

The second book in this trilogy doesn't disappoint. Avery is still her lovable, yet slightly ditzy, self as she navigates the choppy waters of a long-distance relationship, and the quest for the Great Canadian erotic novel. If you loved "Dear Internet, It's Me, Avery", you'll adore "The Internet Made Me Do It".

Avery and Ryan trying to work things out during a long distance relationship. Of course Avery's mind gets the best of her. However they do get engaged, but Ryan tends to put work first. What woman doesn't get mad when her man does that? Avery writing Erotica is just hilarious to me. The big shocker is when Avery meets Clementine.

I realized something, after diving into the second installment in Avery’s world.

I really, really missed her!

She’s the type of character I wish I were friends with in real life. Funny. Charming. Always telling it exactly like it is, even if in doing so, it gets her into all sorts of trouble. I’m amazed at the heap of misadventures and odd-ball situations that Avery often finds herself in. There were so many moments where I felt as though I were witnessing the beginnings of a train wreck, filling me with a need to reach inside the pages and protect her from causing undue harm to herself, yet at the same time I couldn’t look away, and if I were totally honest, I didn’t want to! Those moments were ultimately the best, because there was no way I’d stop reading and not find out what happens to Avery and those around her at every single turn.

I wasn’t sure if the second book could top the first in this series (Dear Internet: It’s Me, Avery). Yet Jennifer Ammoscato proved me wrong. The Internet Made Me Do It was amazing, from start to finish, inspiring me to be crazy free to express myself a little bit more, with a little more gumption, just like Avery would. I’m so glad Avery’s world is a trilogy, because one book would never be enough, and I look forward to reading the third installment, The Internet Never Lies, so I can see what’s in store for our girl!
