Secrets of a Side Bitch 2

Rate this book
Each year, approximately 16,000 people are murdered in the United States. Seven percent of the killers are female; one of them being Simone Campbell.

In Secrets of a Side Bitch 2, Simone is struggling to keep together the web of lies that she has woven, all in attempts to be the number one woman in Omari Sutton’s life. She continues to pull one devious and demented trick after another to maintain her role as Omari’s leading lady. Her tower of lies begins crashing down as intricate parts of her schemes begin to unfold. Chance reemerges, threatening Simone’s connection to the murder. Desperateness to have Omari’s baby sends Simone into such erratic behavior that she starts to make telling mistakes. All the while, Omari is set on making Aeysha’s murderer pay for killing the one woman that truly had his heart.

Author of Urban Chick Lit, Erotica, and Contemporary Urban Fiction... Jessica N. Watkins was born April 1st in Chicago, Illinois. She obtained a Bachelors of Arts with Focus in Psychology from DePaul University and Masters of Applied Professional Studies with focus in Business Administration from the like institution. Working in Hospital Administration for the majority of her career, Watkins has also been an author of fiction literature since the young age of nine. Eventually she used writing as an outlet during her freshmen year of high school as a single parent: “In the third grade I entered a short story contest with a fiction tale of an apple tree that refused to grow despite the efforts of the darling main character. My writing evolved from apple trees to my seventh and eighth grade classmates paying me to read novels I had written about kids our age living the lives our parents wouldn’t dare let us”. At the age of twenty-eight, Watkins’ chronicles have matured into steamy, humorous, and realistic tales of women's literature. She hopes that The Epitome of Femistry series will successfully emulate ideal femininity while tackling stereotypes, familiar heartache, and relatable distress in a humorous, sophisticated, and erotic fashion.

Yeah so I said Simone was a psycho in the first one, WELL she ramps it up here. She's coo coo bananas and I can't wait to see her bad choices catch up with her.

It's a really fun series to listen to, the narrators make it even better and funnier. I honestly die laughing whenever a smutty scene comes up (and there are a lot), the narrators go and moan too, it's hilarious.

This is definitely a series I'm going to want to reread in the future.

I didn't enjoy this book as much as the first one, but it was still a page turner for me. These people are a mess! Messy, messy and messier! It's been awhile since I've read a serious of books that are all actually good. Usually the book falls off in the 2nd one, but not this one. I've already started part 3 and I've already told 2 of my friends to start reading them. One of them read part 1 & 2 in the same day. This is the kind of series that you won't be able to read just one then read the next one a little while later. You are going to want to start immediately.

I'm not going to put my full review on here yet but I will say, that I'm disappointed that the author didn't settle any of the conflicts in the book. Seems like it's going to be a long drawn out four or five book series that I do not want to read. Very good suspense and wow moments in the book, however I was not pleased that the author didn't settle any of the conflicts in the book. I do realize there is a to be continued but at some point you have to bring a closer to some things. And the author did not do that.

This book is a continuation of the first Secrets of a Side bitch. In this book we deal with another murder and more crazy people doing crazy stuff to get who/what they want, yes im talking about Simone and her crazy ass. She has her head so far up Omari's ass that she can't see how much she has hurt Chance, the guy who would do anything for her...This book ends on a cliffhanger but don't fret, lol there is a part 3. which is what im about to read....tootles.

In my opinion the plot was farfetched, but Simone was truly off the chain. There were twists and turns throughout the entire book. I gave this 5 stars because I couldn't put this down! What goes around comes around...

If you thought Part 1 was crazy just wait until you read Part 2. Desperation has been taken to another level. I'm ready for Part 3. I'm pretty sure this will not end well. Good job Jessica!

Not as good as the first book.. and for that, I am disappointed. It was still a quick and entertaining read, but I really wasn't a fan of most of the new characters that were introduced. I cannot wait to see the day where Simone gets what's coming for her! Her craziness continues into this book too which is what I made it so enjoyable. I would never want a female like her in my life ever!

Secrets of a Side Bitch 2
Man, I hate Simone, she's ruined peoples lives. Not only has skewer killed Aisha but she killed her baby too. Because she was jealous of both of them. I don't get how she thinks to murder both Aisha, and their baby would keep Omari. Once Omari finds out she done killed not only his woman but his baby his ass going to go crazy. Heck Simone even tried to take Omari sister baby. Like the girl, you are beyond crazy, and you know in the real world some men and women actually act the way Simone do.

I'm pissed at Gia for snitching on Chance because she was hurt, I blamed Simone for that because she coos that boy into murdering Aisha. I felt like Chance was naive in the beginning until he realized that Simone was a lier. I hope nothing happens to Chance because man I like him but knowing Omari pretty boy crazy self, it's no telling what is going to happen.

Plus I am wondering if Omari killed Ching or not I hope not UGH.

Continuing her path of desperation and damage, Simone is fighting to keep her lies, stories and life straight as she attempts to hold her position within Omari's life. She continues to weave a web of deceit that is in constant threat of being unraveled the longer she keeps up her ruse. Omari continues to make Simone a top priority not knowing the whole time he was sleeping and living with the one person who turned his life completely upside down. Simone's pawn Chance has resurfaced after realizing the dreams and sweet words she offered him, were nothing more than smoking mirrors. Once again this book takes you on a journey through the mind of a woman who is willing to stop at nothing to achieve the prize that she has her eyes on, being the one and only woman that Omari sees and loves.

I was could hardly put this book down. Jessica Watkins did an amazing job of keeping her readers hanging on to every upcoming page turn. Simone, I thought she was crazy in the first novel, but she was extremely wicked in the second one. Omari had to put really put it on her big time to become even more conniving. I am exciting waiting for the third installment. I want to know what happen? Please don't keep us waiting too long. Did Jimmy kill her? If not, was she exposed? Did Gia snitch on Chance? Did Chance get away or did he get caught up? Is Omari and Conga going to retaliate for the missing bricks?

The third part is going to be off the chain.

Not generally a lover of series but in "Secrets of a Side Bitch 2" Jessica Watkins weaves an outstanding web of suspense, sex, lies, deceit, drugs and murder.

From start to finish...This action packed, pager turner kept me ON EDGE! Just when you thought, Simone couldn't get any more grimy than in part 1...This crazy, deranged psychopath will stop at NOTHING to be the #1 lady in Omari's life. I mean GEESH!!! TALK ABOUT DESPERATE! The plots, plans and schemes she pulls had my nerves bad but as things started to unravel, I was cheering for Simone to get the bizness!

Bravo! Part 3 is A MUST READ!

Simoneeeeee

I love seeing the drama unfold as I read . I used the word see because I can picture the story as I read it. Simone was a women on her way to self destruction if she didn't die in this part then I knew it was coming for her. She went beyond measures for a man. But didn't put God first . That shit just wasn't right something has to give. I love this book it's really sad that life is filled with woman like this . But it's a lesson that karma isn't to far from around the corner. Watch how you treat people. That's all I'm saying

I finished so fast I didn't know it was the end

Simone keeps digging more holes for herself. I think Chance need to get on. Simone (however wrong the initial deal was) did live up to her end of the deal so it wasn't her fault he got took. He shouldn't have came back for her. I'm glad Omari had his epiphany but at the same time I felt Simone's pain because he kept comparing his girls to her. She shouldn't have to compete with them but he doesn't have to forget them either.

At this point, Simone is no longer just toxic she’s unhinged. The desperation, the delusion, the downright demonic behavior! Chile, I had to pause and ask myself, hoe is you good? Simone is out here playing God with people’s lives, moving like death is a solution to heartbreak and truly believing that everyone is a threat to her relationship with a man who she tricked and forced to stay. Ma’am therapy, not murder!

Simone is a storm in stilettos and she’s destroying everything in her path. And what’s worse? Omari, instead of doing the healing work is consumed by rage and revenge. His whole identity is wrapped in pain now. He wants Chink dead.

Chance. Poor Chance. A young kid caught in a sick game and Simone’s web of chaos is getting tighter around him. I really wanted peace for him and Gia but with all this violence and betrayal, even their soft moments feel like stolen seconds.

This sequel is intense grimy, emotional and heartbreaking. It’s no longer just about side chick drama. It’s about the cost of obsession, the consequences of unchecked trauma and how some people are so broken, they’ll burn the world down just to feel seen.

One thing’s for sure nobody comes out of this story clean.

This book was really good as the first, like Chance has my heart <3 I am so made with the psycho Simone for doing that to him, she's not even a counselor they suppose to uplift the troubled teens and help them she used that boy for her own benefit, I am so glad he finally saw her true colors but that had me upset, not only that, that heifer done killed two people Omari loved, if she loved Omari that much she wouldn't have done what she did, like who in their right mind would go and killed a BABY like who be jealous of a BABY, Lord have mercy, I got a headache reading this book but I want more so I will be reading part 3 next because I want to know what happens especially with Chance <3 and hopefully Simone get got.

SMDH:
Simone is a vile, evil wretched piece of work!!! it was one thing to kill Ayesha, but it's a whole other one to smother an innocent baby! The mitigated gall of this *itch!!!

Gia is so temperamental. I do not agree with her blaming Chance for Rae's suicide when she'd clearly concluded that their relationship was no longer healthy for either of them choosing instead to be with Chance. Now in her anger she's setting forth a chain of events that's going to hurt everyone even more than she can imagine.

My heart just breaks for Omari. He never stood a chance at being truly happy, in love and drama free. I really hope he gets happiness in the end that doesn't result in his having to die.

A woman scorned.

Part 2 was an excellent read. I don't like Simone at all.Deceit, followed by jealousy and low self esteem is Simone. It wasn't enough that she had Omari girlfriend killed but to kill the baby too. She was also a liar who could come up with a lie at the drop of a hat. I was laughing out loud when Simone ended up at Tre' s house and discovered that Tre's wife was Omari's sister. His is definitely a woman scorned. The surprise is Jimmy is back and caught Simone off guard.
I wasn't ready for this book to end. His is going to let the cat out of the bag, a woman scorned, especially after Rae committed suicide at her house. A very good book.

Damn! 😱😱😱

The ending is so damn EXPLOSIVE that I can’t say nothing but….the S.H.I.T is about to hit the MFking fan, literally!!!

Is she really about to tell on Chance? I hope not because I was really really rooting for them.

Simone is down bad, in every sense of the word. I hope to never be that sick in the head over a man that I’m committing homicide and that of a little baby who by the grace of GOD even survived and very traumatic beginning.

Dis tuwwwah muchhhh!!

I read the first of this series and immediately had to jump into part 2. This story is so addicting. I read a review that said this storyline is far fetched, not in my opinion. I personally know a female that went to this extreme, minus the killings. I am beyond excited to start part 3. Great read, and oh so hard to put down.
