**********Contains Spoilers**********

I thoroughly enjoyed this collection. Each book in this collection is reviewed separately.

The Bear Is Back In Town - I really liked this book. I loved the connection between Dylan and Steph. I loved how Steph learned to accept help from Dylan. I loved Dylan’s Granddad he’s awesome and he loves Dylan so much. Fate sure knew what it was doing when Steph broke down on the side of a deserted road and she couldn’t find her phone to ring her mum, she then hears a motor cycle coming down the road which happens to be her mate Dylan. It’s Dylan’s first trip back to Bear Bluff in a decade, after he’d been taken away in a police car headed for Juvie after the oldest Franks boy died. Steph isn’t very happy as she doesn’t want a mate as she had to see how her dad treated her mum Kathleen, he was definitely the dominant one in their house, her mum basically had no voice. Dylan is perfect for Steph as when he realises why she doesn’t want a mate he explains that he knows that women can do anything a man can do if not even better. I loved how Kathleen came into her own and learned to be in charge of her life and even started dating her old high school boyfriend Harlon thanks to Steph’s scheming. I thought their plans to turn their rundown farm into a B&B is an awesome idea, as it’s a way to get people into the area and a way to generate money. I’m looking forward to reading Jed and Amanda’s story next book.

His Bear's Necessity - I really enjoyed this story. I thought Jed and Amanda suited each other, once she got her preconceived notions about what she’d been told by Dylan and Jed about his stealing when he was younger but it was only for his family. Her worries about Jed stem from the guy she was seeing Mason who’d duped her and turned off the video cameras at the jewellery store where she worked after he’d talked her into having s*x in the back room, he then took some items while she wasn’t looking and she took the blame for it because had contacted her and told her that he’s sorry but he just needed the money for his ex-girlfriend to support their baby but who knows if that was actually true or not so she spent 6 months in prison but then she realised he’s an a*sehole as well as a completely horrible human being. He wouldn’t leave her alone so she changed her last name to her grandmothers so it’ll hopefully be harder to find where she moved too. Amanda initially thought that Jed would be bad news until she got to know him and the man he is now, she then worried that she wasn’t good enough for him. I loved the moment when Amanda met Jed’s Bear as he loved his tummy being rubbed by her. I liked that Dylan gave Jed a chance even after he’d bullied Dylan and took his lunch money when they were teens but Dylan knew that he used it to buy his sister Tilly a hot lunch since it was her birthday. I liked that Jed let go of his pride where moneys concerned and accepted help from Amanda when she offered to pay for Jed’s younger siblings to go college since he’s been paying for it, she was going to use her inheritance she got from her grandmother which is a massive thing for him and it goes to show that Amanda is his family as well. I loved meeting Jed’s family. Yes, they’re really struggling but what they lack in money they make up in the abundance of love. I’m looking forward to reading Jordan and Skyla’s story next.

Black Bear Down - I really liked this story. Man, Jordan has been through so much with being the only survivor from his unit from a helicopter crash and then losing the use of his legs but what makes it worse is he’s lost the connection to his Bear and thinks that his Bear has died. When you’re used to sharing the same consciousness with your other side then suddenly losing that would be completely horrible. While in the hospital in Bear Bluff recovering, a nurse has been hired to help him and when she walks into his hospital room, he’s knows as soon as he sees Skyla that they’re mates but given his need to protect her from a life with a cripple (his words not mine) he tries to send her away but she refuses as she thinks she recognises the look he had in his eyes for a second before all emotion left his face from what her childhood friend Donnie who’s a shifter told her about mates but then she thinks she may have imagined the look because it doesn’t seem as intense as Donnie described it but that’s probably because he can’t find his Bear. I liked the connection between them and I’m glad that fate stepped in when they both need each other. I’m also glad they’ve both reconnected with their families. Dylan is an awesome boss/friend and I think his idea of giving young offenders second chances since he’s been in their shoes and wouldn’t have got where he is today without someone giving him an initial helping hand. I’m looking forward to reading Caleb and Zoe’s story next.

Who Bears Wins - I really liked this book. I liked the connection between Caleb and Zoe. I loved how when Caleb took the job with Dylan that he deciding about whether he’d take the job or not but then met Zoe so ended up taking the job and agreeing to take Zoe’s wayward brother Tony under his wing to try and straighten him out but under the proviso that anything Tony and him spoke about is going to be kept private even from Zoe which Zoe respected him immensely for, it also showed Tony that Caleb actually wanted to get to know him and whatever he said to Caleb was just between them. It was cool how Caleb taught him aikido so he can learn control and how to defend himself if needed and that he should only ever defend himself and never start anything. Man. I feel so sorry for Tony with how his mum treats him, no wonder he has hang ups about his shifter animal after she told him that he should stop roaring as he’ll only ever be a insignificant little bunny and never a lion. Firstly, who could say that to their own child about a massive part of them but you’re also being horrible about your daughter and your mate’s other side. I know she’s not very well but still I really just wanted to give Tony a big hug when he walked in and heard his mum say that now Zoe and Caleb are mated that they don’t want Tony living with them so he’ll be going home with them. It really would’ve crushed Tony thinking that Zoe and Caleb both lied to him and that they don’t want him either just like his mum. I absolutely love Caleb’s parents and love them even more how they took both Zoe and Tony in and treated them as part of their family which they desperately need. I’m looking forward to reading Grace and Matt’s story next.

When Bears Collide - I really enjoyed this book. Even though Grace and Matt seem like worlds apart they’re actually a great fit. I loved that Matt got his ego in check way before he met Grace as they wouldn’t have fit if he all he cared about was all his money and the next deal he could make. Wow, Grace has been through a lot in her life no wonder she didn’t put any stock in the mate bond nor want one for herself as her dad suddenly left her and her mum for another women, her mum was human so unless he was a complete an utter a*sehole leaving his true mate when he was a Bear shifter he must have lied but I still think he one for leaving his daughter it’s even worse because he knows that she’ll be a Bear shifter like him but still left her without anyone to help her learn about shifting for the first time. Her mum wasn’t too much better as she left Grace after awhile when she met a new man and Grace was put into Foster Care so she has major abandonment issues which I don’t blame her for. Grace also thought that she was completely wrong for Matt since she’s working with Dylan as an offender. I’m glad that Jed talked to her a bit about mates so then she changed her mind and actually gives Matt a chance. I’m glad that Matt got his PI to look into Tessa after he’d first met her since he knew that she was looking for dirt on him and I suppose you know to expect that if you’re worth that much money it pays to be cautious, as it sure came in handy after she’d tried to blackmail Matt that she wouldn’t publish the story about what Grace has done or other information that may hurt the people Grace works with and therefore putting the new project that Matt has in the cards that he is trying to bring Grace on board with which will be linked to Dylan’s young offenders project. I was definitely was not expecting what was revealed about her she shouldn’t really try and blackmail others when her secret could land her with jail time if it ever came out, it involved her being a Madame and a minor, yes he was nearly 18 years old but still if his parents were notified they could press charges for statutory r*pe. I’m looking forward to reading Zara and Theo’s which is the final book in the series next.

Wish Upon A Bear - I really liked this story. Everyone deserves to spend Christmas with their family whether it’s blood or their found family. I liked the connection between Zara and Theo. After what Zara did to help keep her mum alive when her mum’s partner was attacking her in a drunken stupor and ended up in Juvie even though it was technically self defence as what was to stop him from going after her if he ended up k*lling her mum and her mum now gets nervous when Zara is around her new husband like she’s going to attack him like she did the ex so she’s been working the last 5 years during Christmas as she had no one to spend it with so I’m glad fate hand its hand in things and both Zara and Theo found each other when she was visiting Dylan and his family for Christmas as her and Dylan met in Juvie, she also had a major crush on Dylan even after hearing him explain mating bonds so I’m glad that she got to experience it for herself and Dylan also offered her an amazing opportunity to help the young offenders that are getting a chance to learn a trade and then if they don’t end up staying once they’ve completed probation at least if they haven’t got their trade at least they’ll have some form of education with Zara’s help. It just goes to show how much Theo actually cares about Dominic, the young offender who he’s been teaching roofing too as he left Zara after finding her to go and have dinner with him and spend some time hanging out. I’m looking forward to reading about Jordan’s brothers as they find their mates next.

I’d definitely recommend this collection, each book in the series and author to everyone.

TITLE OF BOX SET: RETURN TO BEAR BLUFF
ARUTHOR OF BOX SET: HARMONY RAINES
DATE READ: OCTOBER 16, 2016 – FEBURARY 12, 2017

This collection of books is actually one of my favorite collections written by Harmony Raines. It technically deals with second chances and how everyone, including stubborn bear shifters should get a second chance at love and life. Plus, it also deals with the people who want a second chance but are back to see that others who deserve second chances gets a second chance. Awesome series and I am sure you do not want to miss it. Anybody who has read the work of Harmony Raines knows that she rocks when it comes to BEAR SHIFTERS!!!!!! One of many reasons she is my favorite Paranormal Romance Author.

1.) The Bear is Back in Town: Dylan Taylor is a bear shifter who is originally from Bear Bluff but left town 10 years ago to hide his past and start over. When he left, his grandpa told him to never come back. This meant that Dylan had to make a new life for himself. Dylan took his grandfather’s advice he rebuilds his life and works hard to achieve success. He decided to make a quick trip to Bear Bluff to check on his grandpa who was getting on in years. He loved his grandpa dearly because he had raised him. Dylan had no idea that his short trip to Bear Bluff would last longer than he had planned. He surely never expected to find his mate. Stephanie “Steph” Summerfield is a bear shifter like her father and brother. Her mother is human. Steph decided she didn’t need a mate, especially if he was going to be like her father and brother; lazy and expecting her mother to do it all. And nor did she need a tall, sexy man like Dylan Taylor who just happens to drive up and stop to help her after her truck stopped on her on the side of the road. Now she wants to know why he is back in town after all these years, and why did he have to be the one to stop and help her? The biggest question is why does he have to be her mate? She was tired of men and didn’t need any in her life especially Dylan Taylor. She knows he is trouble with a capital T. Only thing Steph doesn’t realize is that Dylan could prove her wrong and show her that she did need a man in her life and in her bed. Will Dylan win Steph over and prove that he is there to stay? Will Steph give him the benefit of doubt when Dylan’s past demons show up? Or will history repeat itself?

2.) His Bears Necessity: Jed Creswell grew up poor and he had to get creative at times to help feed his younger brother and sisters because of a tragedy that left his father crippled and not able to work. Once the Sheriff caught him he got Jed a job out of town to help him get back on the right track. Now Jed is back in Bear Bluff and wanting to do right by his younger siblings. The one thing that Jed wasn’t counting on was getting a job working for Dylan Taylor especially since he had stolen Dylan’s lunch money when they were younger. Dylan was forgiving since it was used to feed his sister. Nor did he expect to find his fated mate on that day. Now that he knows who his fated mate is, he is torn between her and his family. Amanda Peaks moved to Bear Bluff because she wanted a new start, and she had inherited a log cabin and some money from her grandmother. So, she changed her name to Amanda Orson, which is her grandmother’s surname. She knew about Bear Bluff and the bear shifters that lived there because her grandmother’s second husband was a bear shifter, so she knew when she met Jed for the first time that he thought she was his mate. She hides her past from Jed and Dylan hoping they never cross each other. When her past catches up with her she thinks it may be best to run again, but Jed thinks she needs to stay put and let him take care of her past. Will Amanda run again? Or will she stay and fight for her freedom with Jed?

3.) Black Bear Down: “Black Bear Down” is about Jordan and Skyla and their road to happiness. Jordan was in the army and his helicopter crashes and kills all his buddies except for him, but leaves him paralyzed, and his bear disappears. Two months after the crash he transferred to Bear Bluff where he grew up. Nothing matters to him anymore. He has given up on everything. Enter his new therapist Skyla, and BAM…. she is his mate. He ignores the attraction between them because there is no way he can support her since he can’t walk. Skyla is a therapist who takes care of special cases…. Shifters because she knows about them. When she first meets Jordan, she notices the odd look he is giving her. She wonders if the stories are true about shifters knowing who their mate is at first glance? She doesn’t want to get her hopes up, so she continues to treat him as a patient she is to help. But it isn’t long before Skyla start to realize that her feelings for him are more than that of a caring therapist. But what if she misread the signs and she isn’t his mate? Dare she hope? Jordan himself is starting to realize that she is his best hope to living life even if he can’t walk or feel his bear anymore. Can he dare hope? Can Skyla be the one to pull him out of his funk?

4.) Who Bears Wins: Caleb is a bear shifter and a very good carpenter. He is in Bear Bluff talking to Dylan about a job with his construction company with the hopes of moving back to Bear Bluff where he was born. Caleb is skeptical about the job being permanent and told Dylan he would think about it, well that is until the hairs on his neck stands up and his stomach get butterflies when a car pulls into the parking lot of the construction company. Dylan is talking to the girl who got out of the car and she is looking at Caleb and not even paying attention to Dylan. When Dylan realizes, what is going on he introduces Zoe to Caleb. The two of them know right then that they are mates. Now Caleb knows that returning to Bear Bluff is not a choice, but a necessity. Zoe is a rabbit shifter who moved to Bear Bluff to start over with her brother Tony. She isn’t even sure she wants a mate, especially with her teenage brother, Tony and trying to keep him out of jail. Tony is the reason that Zoe moved to Bear Bluff. She was somewhat worried about being in a town filled with bear shifters when she was just a tiny rabbit shifter. Zoe starts to have second thoughts about Caleb when he takes the job with Dylan just so he can help Tony get a handle on his life before he winds up in jail. But she fears starting a family because her mother was never around for her and Tony, and she was worried that she may not be mother material. Will Caleb get through to Tony? Will he be able to convince Zoe to take a chance on him? Will Zoe give into Caleb or will she resist him?

5.) When Bears Collide: Grace is helping at the wedding Caleb and Zoe from “Who Bears Win”. She decides that the fates have it in for her when she meets her fated mate at the wedding and he is a billionaire. She doesn’t want a mate because she doesn’t believe in love and happily ever after. But seeing her mate Matt talk to another woman kind of sparks some jealousy in Grace, but she believes the woman he is talking to is more suitable for him. Matt is a billionaire and he is in town to talk business with Dylan because he wants to work with Dylan and Bear Bluff Construction by expanding the program for helping offenders in need of a second chance. Matt sure didn’t expect his mate to be one of the offenders. Can Matt convince Grace that her past is in the past, and he wants a future with her? Will Grace give in and take a chance on Matt even though they are from two different worlds?

6.) “Wish Upon a Bear” is a Christmas story where Dylan has invited his friend from juvey to come spend Christmas with him and his family, which not only includes his wife/mate Steph, their two kids, and all his employees from Bear Bluff Construction Company. Zara had worked hard after leaving juvey and got her teachers degree and this trip to Dylan’s was a sort of vacation for her since she normally worked through Christmas. But she remembers back when she and Dylan were in juvey and had a crush on him. That was when he showed her his bear and explained about the “Fated Mates” and let her know she wasn’t his. Zara is nervous to meet Dylan’s family but takes the challenge head on and finds that his wife Steph is glad to see her. Zara sure didn’t expect to get a gift that was better than any gift that could be put under the tree, her fated mate! Theo works for Dylan’s construction company as a roofer and he promised Dylan that he would help work on Dylan’s granddad’s roof. Boy, did he get a surprise when he pulled into Dylan’s yard and starts feeling like he is going to pass out. This of course makes Dylan happy because he knows by the way Theo is acting that Zara is his mate. Boy, does he have a surprise for Theo. When Dylan introduces Theo to Zara, Theo believes all his Christmas’s have come at once. Theo’s biggest challenge is Dominic the young offender who Theo is mentoring and teaching him his roofing business hoping the young boy will settle down and stay. But Theo is noticing signs that make him scared that Dominic is going to run and therefore breaking the terms of his probation and possibly his last chance to change. Will Theo and Zara be able to work together to ensure that Dominic doesn’t have to go to jail? Will this be the best Christmas for Dylan and his big family? Will Zara get all her dreams this Christmas by wishing upon a bear?

More Hunky Alphas & Sassy Ladies From Bear Bluff

Each book in this series is praiseworthy from beginning to end. I love all of Harmony Raines books but her bear shifters are my favorites (if they were real I would most definitely have one of my own).
Harmony's books are exceptionally well written, with swexy, lovable, sometimes frustrating, loyal, protective alpha men and the swexy, lovable, you sometimes wanna shake some sense into her, ladies they fall hard and would do anything for.
Book #3, Black Bear Down, has a spinoff: Cowboy Brother Bears series. The series is about the 3 brothers of Jordan Williams from Black Bear Down. Also, fascinating, first rate books.
And book #6, Wish Upon A Bear, has a special epilogue: Bearing Gifts. It is available to Harmony's newsletter subscribers. Wonderful addition to the Return To Bear Bluff series.
I can't wait for Harmony's next series to come out!! Her books are addictive, like Lay's potato chips: you can't read just one!!

6 great stories of second chances

I loved this series. These have super characters, with a fantastic set of storylines. Each one is different, but the focus is on second chances in love and in life. The box set is only 99 cents and well worth it. Each one focuses on different issues. Not all the shifters are bears, or even predators! The whole series revolves around the characters and storyline in the first story.

This series has super characters, different issues, steamy scenes, and laughter. For 99 cents, try it yourself and see. You do not have to read the previous series of Bear Creek and Bear Bluff, but that is another box set for 99 cents at this time. I would take advantage of both box sets. It is well worth it. Then sit back and prepare to enjoy!

Six books that answer all the questions that anyone could have about Bear Bluff. Life is just a little different from Bear Creek, the shifters here don't actually want any tourists, they prefer privacy so life is just a little harder for people who work for a living, there aren't quit as many jobs. But life and love is still great. This collection of six stories is great and it introduces a whole new shifter town and while the characters are new, there are a few friends from Bear Creek who pop up now and then.
One of the nice things about Harmony Raines books is the Synopsis in the front of each story, You will enjoy that and it sets the expectations for each story. Again, I love these books, they are short but with 6 in one book, its quite a lengthy read.

Also, if you don't like any typos, these are not the books for you.

This series, Return to Bear Bluff is a fantastic set of books! I really enjoyed reading each and every one of these books. They are very well written and had me hooked from the beginning of a book until the end. I would highly recommend this series to others.
Each and every one of the books in this series can be read as a stand-alone but are great to read as a complete series.
I volunteered to read these books and leave an honest review.

I love the shifter series that Harmony Raines has developed. She actually has multiple groupings of books that lightly overlap one another, that we can see how some of our old favorites are doing as well as wonderful new characters. The messages, the morals are woven into the rich tapestry of the storylines. Within each book is found complicated and not so complicated lives and how they mesh to become families through love and friendship. She is one of my "go to" authors. Bravo, Harmony Raines.

Great books

Loved every single word in each of these books. Great PRICE for Great Books. Each book can be read as a individual or as a group. Each has its own HEA. If you love strong shifters and their females that bring some different strengths of their own, that add a story that will keep you at the edge of your seat. This is definitely a great series.

Nice set of stand alone tales that have an overarching story line for deeper enjoyment.

Stories all take place in Bear Bluff, and involve a group of bears all working for the same man/bear as he tries to give back in repayment for all he has been given. Each of their lives improves as they add to his company, and find their fated mates, and their special place in Bear Bluff.

Several love stories in one

If you like your shifters big and burly and good with their hands, then this is a set for you.
Harmony works through the building trades (no plumber though), and grants each a fated mate.
Seems that you don't need planning permissions or building permits in Bear Bluff as extensions and renovations are rife. All to show off muscles and chests!

I love how all of the characters tie into each story from beginning to end. Some action but not so much that it gets really intense. Really admirable characters that want to help others. Totally recommend.

I have read this series in another boxed set that I bought. I’m always amazed that authors can write about the same thing but are able to make each story unique. Some of the stories have strong women, which I love.

Very enjoyable

Harmony Raines did it again! This series hit just the right pace to keep you intrigued. Bringing the other characters in for updates on how they're doing is great too. Really gives the stories more of the feeling that they are family.

Best shifters

Very easy reading. Books are very repetitive. Happy ever after with a more modern twist. All bedroom scenes interchangeable. Some books could do with more background or content.

I am not generally a fan of bear shifter romance but Harmony Raines writes great romances with very likable characters. There is humor, true caring and great sex. The collection of tales was very entertaining.

Really enjoyed this set.

Interesting complicated characters. Beautiful setting and great friends and neighbors something every human and shifter wants! Each story flows into the next, but can stand on its own, too.

Sometimes second chances comes in the form of an unlikely family. Surprise, dedication, and love creates a new beginning. FAMILY.
