Beauty isn’t everything. Beneath Simone’s long fake hair, phony smile, and saline booty is a web of trickery, lies, and murder. After being attacked by Jimmy, Simone’s web of lies begins to violently unravel. One by one, her skeletons are falling out of the closet and revealing her true colors. While Simone fights to keep the man and life that she stole, Chance is fighting desperately to keep his life with Gia. Amidst the hot and steamy passion, which builds between Gia and Chance like a scorching inferno, is the fear of Chance being locked away for the rest of his life. After a visit from the new detective assigned to Aeysha’s murder case, Eboni is intent on making Omari see the truth about Simone and her wicked ways. In Secrets of a Side Bitch 3, everyone is forced to come clean and admit their true involvement in Aeysha Walker’s murder. And finally Simone is forced to make a decision ‒ either face the aftermath of her destruction or run away from the man that she fought so hard to get.

Author of Urban Chick Lit, Erotica, and Contemporary Urban Fiction... Jessica N. Watkins was born April 1st in Chicago, Illinois. She obtained a Bachelors of Arts with Focus in Psychology from DePaul University and Masters of Applied Professional Studies with focus in Business Administration from the like institution. Working in Hospital Administration for the majority of her career, Watkins has also been an author of fiction literature since the young age of nine. Eventually she used writing as an outlet during her freshmen year of high school as a single parent: “In the third grade I entered a short story contest with a fiction tale of an apple tree that refused to grow despite the efforts of the darling main character. My writing evolved from apple trees to my seventh and eighth grade classmates paying me to read novels I had written about kids our age living the lives our parents wouldn’t dare let us”. At the age of twenty-eight, Watkins’ chronicles have matured into steamy, humorous, and realistic tales of women's literature. She hopes that The Epitome of Femistry series will successfully emulate ideal femininity while tackling stereotypes, familiar heartache, and relatable distress in a humorous, sophisticated, and erotic fashion.

Boy!! I tell you! The tips of my fingers were burning as I slide them to turn the pages of my kindle. You think parts one and two were the bomb, then wait til you check out book three. There were so many surprises, and none stop action! Oh and Jessica N. Watkins did not disappoint when she sent karma back to get Miss. Simone. I'm so glad that this is not the end of the SOSB series, because I am craving more as we speak. The series was written by a writer with a vivid imagination and a skillful pen in hand. Anticipating more for this authoress!

This series keeps getting better with each book??? So many plot twists and that ending...wow.

Simone's lies and evil deeds finally caught up with her. I still feel bad for her though (if you read it you know why) she didn't deserve that happening to her.

I'm glad there's still more to go, but I think it could've ended at book three too.

The Bitch finally got what she deserved. Man this book had me on edge. I didn't know what direction it was going. I was scared she was gonna get away with everything and all the guilt Chance was feeling about what happened. Even though it seemed bad what Gia did I'm glad she did it. I'm so happy about the ending I was jumping for joy for everyone. I wish I knew what happen between Omari and Eboni. Overall I loved the suspense of it all.

This book was great from start to finish. It picks right up where it left. Of course Simone is still being Simone but her world as she knows it is surely changing. The question is not when will it all come to an end but how will it end. That ending..... two thumbs up.

I am happy that these characters will continue to develop in upcoming works as I have grown to like them and look forward to more of them.

Spoilers.... Here...

& ..... There....!!!

I am #DEAD!!!! I am here like yassssss "Omari" whoop that trick, whoop that trick." yasss Simone deserves that *** whooping that Omari gave her, heck not only Omari heck the *** beating that Jimmy gave her was worth it too. I felt like everyone shouldn't be so hard on Chance because Simone is the caused of everything.

https://ladiikeiii.wordpress.com/2017...

I am weak asab why am I laughing at wth is happening to Simone lmao. The little girls said "RUN LADY, WATCH OUT! I am wondering who done knock Simone out once again; I am thinking Jimmy *** lol. But it's funny how Ebony thinking Omari, forgave Simone aha; I knew that he forgave her.

Even though Simone is a BITCH, she didn't deserve to get raped. But truth be told, KARMAS a BITCH!!!! Made me Cringe when she was poked in both areas. That's worse than what Omari did to her, but look what she did to her friend Tammy, Aiysha, and Ayisha/Omari baby (Dahlia)

But anyways, I hope nothing happens to Chance, I prefer him alive and in jail, plus when and if he gets out "him" better LOVE, Gia back. Also, I agree with Gia when she mentions that Chance was innocent as Aiyesha and Dahlia which is true because all 3 were innocent people, that Simone did wrong by either killing or setting up. I already knew Chance felt bad unlike Simone; her *** still don't care. But Omari, man I cannot wait until he finds himself, love, because he has been through so much. Plus Simone isn't dead, and I cannot wait until I read book 4.

When karma comes full circle...Simone gets a dose of the hard knock life. Omari's eyes have been opened to the true destruction that Simone brought directly into his life once he and his d**k invited her in. Being entirely too focused on hustling he overlooked her ways and it cost him more than he could have ever bargained for. In Simone's cause beauty was definitely only skin deep because the monster that lived inside her was far worse than the eyes could see. She's forced to run, but still somehow wreaks her signature havoc on unsuspecting people. She burns a trail that leads her to having her back against the wall, yet somehow she finds a way to come out swinging. The story of lies, deceit and betrayal continues into another state and ultimately brings her back to where she started.

Spoilers......

Book 3, was just as good as book 1 and 2, It's good that book 1 is FREE then you just only get part 2, 3, 4 I now need book four because I need to know what happened next. I already know that Simone *** isn't dead, the lies that news reporter said lol. Like in my head I am asking is that JIMMY? Or was it REALLY a woman burning if she was burned maybe she still alive idk that's why I need part 4. And Karma's is def coming for Simone *** for all that crap she did, I hope Omari finds out that it wasn't Chance who killed his baby it was Simone she did that, and yes, Chance killed his girlfriend (the one he got his first child by). Also, I was so happy he had gotten a second chance when it came to a child, I hope nothing doesn't happen to his son Jamari because Omari lost too much if he keeps that a secret from Simone delusional self. It is good, I know her crazy self-coming back, only if Jimmy hasn't killed her yet. He never succeeds in killing her, smh it a sucky murder I swear to you, for him to stalk her I do wonder why he never told anyone of the crimes that she has done. Plus I hope Chance is good in book 4; I am going to be hurt if anything happens to him. I LIKE HIM > he's my book boyfriend okay?

Great Read! That dog on Simone is one crazy heffa. Maybe her and Jimmy should have hooked up from the start so he could half kill people and Simone can go behind him and finish the job. Excellent and entertaining read from start to finish.

This book had me on the edge of my seat the entire time ! There were even more twists and turns in the book than the previous ! Simone will go to all lengths to make sure she comes out on top but unfortunately that mentality will cost her everything. I can’t wait to read book 4! I’m addicted!

All I can say is wow! With the book ending with one demise, you'd think the series has come to a close...but the author promises more. I can't even imagine what she will come up with in the continuing stories but I definitely will be checking them out. Very gifted writer, vivid imagination and she has the skill to draw you in and keep you intertwined until the last page. Definite recommend for those who love drama, betrayal, revenge and more. You won't be disappointed!

Couldn't put the book down!

The book was good. I didn't want Simone to die so soon because I wanted her to get exposed for what she did to Dahlia and Tammy. I also don't like Eboni because she was a horrible friend to Ayesha. Omari is reaping what he sow. It's sad he had to lose the family he created just because he couldn't stop cheating. I feel bad for Chance because I think hes going to die in the next book. Off to book 4!

Simone was a deranged piece of work! Her devious & selfish actions caused so many to suffer trying to satisfy her need to be #1. I must admit she did have many secrets to hide, some which could not be hidden forever. With this series, Jessica Watkins provided me with a memorable plot/storyline that made this story all the more interesting. Great read that I highly recommend!

Serious side eye, this installment right here! Stressful, heartbreaking and messy in the best way. Yes Omari’s cheating started the domino effect but Simone… chile, she detonated the bomb.

There’s a difference between hurt and pure destruction and Simone lives in the destruction. She’s unstable, dangerous and has single-handedly shattered lives. Omari thought he had a ride-or-die but what he really had was a ticking time bomb in a lace front. He was sleeping with the enemy and didn’t even know it until the war broke out in his life.

Chance sweet, lost Chance. Yes, he’s guilty. Yes, he took a life. But my heart aches for him. He was young, desperate for love and vulnerable to manipulation. He never had a chance ironic, huh? He got caught in the middle of Simone’s chaos and now he’s paying with his life. Justice Maybe. But it still hurts to watch.

Jimmy Let’s be real I don’t condone abuse especially since he's been beating women since book 1 but I have zero pity for what he’s putting Simone through. That's wrong I know but it's how I feel. She’s finally getting a taste of the hell she’s handed out so freely. The manipulation, the obsession, the straight-up madness it’s all coming back to her. Karma presented herself as a crazy ass man and she is not playing.

This book is raw. It’s tragic. It’s real in a way that hurts. Every character is battling their own demons but Simone, Babygirl is the demon.

I am hooked on this series! It’s sooooooo good. Although it’s too late, Omari understands his role in this mess and he’s truly sorry. I really feel bad for him because although his actions led to this, it’s not his fault that Simone is nuts. He loved his family and deserves a chance to start over. He has definitely learned his lesson. I feel like he and Eboni will end up together. I like Eboni but she’s definitely wrong too because clearly she wasn’t a friend to Ayesha either! The only difference between Eboni and Simone is that Eboni isn’t nuts, lol. I don’t support DV…AT ALL….but Simone deserved everything that Omari did to her plus more. I can’t wait for them to find her again and finally lock her away.

Chance: He was a victim in this. Simone took advantage of him and he just got wrapped up unfortunately. I’m happy that he and Gia found each other because he has to live with his error for the rest of his life but he also deserved a new beginning.

On to the final books now and I can’t wait!

That's what I'm talking about!!!!

You tied this all up quite nicely!!! Justice was served to that witch as coldly and harshly as she dealt it and I can't say that I felt badly for her. Simone was horrible and died as she lived.

Omari is a decent good, naive and short sighted but good. I'm glad he has his mother and Jamari. I'm still uneasy about him and Eboni being together simply because it's disrespectful and disloyal to Ayesha and her memory. However, I can see how circumstances would tie the two together.

Gia and Chance are just awesome and I adore their bantering. I think they deserve their happily ever after. Capone was the real MVP he never swayed in loyalty regardless of what happened.

Great story. Curious about why there's a part 4, though. 🤔🤔🤔

I STILL SAY THAT OMARI BROUGHTTHIS ON ALL OF THEM BY CHEATING ON AYESHA WITH FIRST EBONI THEN WITH CRAZY A** SIMONE!
I ONLY FELT SORRY FOR CHANCE. HE NEEDED PROPER GUIDANCE BUT GOT WRAPPED UP INTO THE CRAZINESS WITH SIMONE.
JIMMY WAS EVIL BUT I THINK SIMONE WAS MORE EVIL THAT'S WHY I CAN'T FEEL SORRY FOR WHAT HAPPENED TO HER.
I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT SHE BEING AN EDUCATED WOMAN ALLOWED HERSELF TO BE CAUGHT UP IN HOEING.
I KNEW EBONI WAS PREGNANT BY OMARI! HE SHOULD'VE STRAPPED UP KNOWING FULL WELL SHE WAS VERY FERTILE HAVING ALL THEM KIDS!
ONE THING ABOUT THESE BOOKS IF YOU MISS THE CHI STREETS AS MUCH AS I DO IT'LL HAVE YOU GOING DOWN MEMORY LANE WHEN YOU READ ABOUT STREETS, PLACES/LOCATIONS, & AREAS!
