A second chance romance. The were best friends as kids when she was 14 & he was 17. Their fathers blackmailed him to leave. She thought he abandoned her for the past 10 years.

Terrific writing ! This great addition to the series is so worth reading. I love the deeply thought filled characters, interesting twists and turns, and rich fulfilling emotion. These stories layer on each other, filling gaps and true romance within the polyamory group. The sex is hot and well done. The feelings are so real. I like the reminder of the Powertools crew affections. Those people opened Eli and Alonso's eyes and hearts to the M/M way of life, and help them make the relationships so much more. Bryce and Kae needed the guidance and it was there. I am hooked on these characters, and look forward to more. ENJOY !!

This was one of those stories that I had looked forward to. I enjoyed getting a better glimps into everyone's past and lets face it now that Eli's Dad Tom has found his HEA with Ms.Brown who can complain. I cant wait to see what Jayne has in the future for us with the Hot Rod's crew and the new little hot rod about to make an aprearance.

I have read the rest of the series and it's quite good but there are moments when it's repetitive within each book but great for a short read.... meet the crew!!!!

Rebel on the Run was a passionate, second chance romance. Bryce and Kaelyn's story is a reminder that just because someone seems to "have it all" does not mean they are living a better or easier life than others. In the end, love is what matters the most!
Also, can we take a second to talk about the blurbs for this series? The warning at the end of each of them is clever, creative, witty, and unique. Those warnings alone would have been enough to convince me to pick up this series!

Wow! Quite the reunion!
Kaelyn was at her lowest point when who should appear to help, but her long lost best friend and first love who left her 10 years ago. When Rebel herd the description, he knew who it was. The connection is still there and the chemistry is amazing, is it enough? What about what Kae was running away from? So much hot and steaminess with a really good love story makes for a great read.

Oh So Good!!!
Really liked this book, it was entertaining, steamy and just overall enjoyable. Always love finding out what kind of entanglements Jayne's characters will be thrown into. Love all of the guys and gals in these series so fun to revisit them in each next episode. Gregory Salinas does a really great job narrating all the different voices, etc.

This is a well written Menage story with awesome characters. I read this one in one sitting, I couldn't put it down. Please remember this is a Menage story so if that is not something you enjoy this one isn't for you. I enjoyed this one and I have enjoyed other Hot Rods stories. I would encourage you to get this one if you like Menage stories. This one is worth it.

This was my first read from this author and I really enjoyed it. I like that these misfits found each other and, while they may be unconventional, it works for them and they genuinely care about each other and are a chosen family. I was intrigued by all of the characters and look forward to reading more about them and from this author. I recommend the read!

Kaelyn DuChamps crashes her car near her old hometown, and runs into former boyfriend Bryce Ellington. She's running away from her father, and Bryce and his crew take her in. This book was really confusing with all the names - everyone had a nickname and the author kept switching back and forth between real and nicknames. I couldn't keep anyone straight.

A good storyline and do like the power tools series. Didn’t take to the spoilt runaway heiress who seemed to vary between juvenile and naive to being an adult. That said good storyline but would like to have seen more bite against the senators.

Thoughts: I like this series. Its very different and that's what makes it work. Makes the characters so awesome.
One of the things I love about this series is that while there is a central couple, without the whole group none of them would be complete. The first two books in the series dealt with the same three people so this is only the second of the other guys in the group we've gotten to know and I have to admit if the others are as hot as these first couple of guys I don't think my kindle will be able to handle it.
When Bryce left his old life behind he did it to protect the one person he loves more than the guys who became his family. So when she shows up on his turf running away from the same life he'd left he see's it as his second chance at what he's always wanted. Only this time they aren't teenagers.
Watching Bryce come to gripes with this new Kae and how she will fit into his life is like a ride in one of the hot rods he and the guys are known for. Kae is ready to throw the shackles of her old life off and finally be the person she's always wanted to be, and to be with the one person she's always wanted at her side.
The one thing Bryce never expected was for her sexual appetites to fall in line with his so easily. It throws him for a loop and excites him at the same time.
Like all the other books in this series, there is a lot of hot sex. Which is one of the reasons we love it so much :)
Over all a great installment of this series. I can't wait to see what she does to Holden the next guy to fall.

I know the relationships could survive without the dynamic of each other, but I don’t want to be in a world where they have to. I can’t recommend this book and series more!!! Snatch it up!! You will not be sorry that you did! :)

Another book in the Hot Rod series you can expect some sizzling heat in this book. Bryce (Rebel) has a big secret he's been hiding from his friends for ten years. He doesn't have a past like theirs. He wasn't abused or had a rough upbringing the way all others have. He had a cushy life in comparison. When Kaelyn's car breaks down no far from the Hot Rods home base he just happens to be the tow truck guy who comes to help her. Kaelyn though he deserted her 10 years ago when their manipulating parents said he left for a life of partying in Europe. Brokenhearted that he left her and never looked back she can't believe he was right there still in the same state as her all this time. Now he has to decide how to handle her. Let her into his life and tell his friends where he really came from or take her and run. While i loved the idea of both their parents people powerful political people i found it a little to easy for how the handled them. What about the guy who was after her to marry her? I wanted just a little bit more before it all worked out. That cliffhanger ending just tore me up in the end though. Oh how i hate those but it won't keep me from reading the next book darn it! One thing about Jayne Rylon you aren't going to wait a year to find out what happens next. June 24th Swinger Style is slated to release. Can't wait.
