Edward Brock

Edward is a writer/photographer who was born in a "don't sneeze or you'll miss it" town in South Carolina. A latchkey kid, he fell in love with science fiction/fantasy/horror. In his middle age, he began his meager writing career with articles in "Monster Magazines" and fiction in several anthologies. He still writes stories. He also writes kid's books--as W.J. Lacie.

Edward currently lives in a house, in a small town, between 2 mountains in Virginia, with his patient wife, an impatient cat, and a rambunctious dog. He also collects, sells, and preserves Vintage Paperbacks & Vinyl Compilation Albums.

Short but sweet.

I'm a sucker for tree-themed horror, and this was a sweet little morsel. Just a few pages, but well written. Would love to see this author put down some deeper roots.

Quite eerie for such a short story!
I am sure anyone who has been bullied will appreciate the ending and the writing is pretty good. The suspense is there and so is the horror, can't ask for much more.
