When Lacey Swift stumbles across a strange mirror, she enters a world similar yet very different from her own. Lacey discovers that this new world is inhabited with vampires, werewolves and supernatural creatures, like no other.
With the help of a vampire named Marco, and werewolf called Abe, Lacey finds herself on a dangerous and terrifying journey to save her identical twin sister, Thea, who is being held hostage and near to death. But the mirrors have the power to change Lacey, altering her appearance and abilities as she passes between them.
But something else deep inside of Lacey is changing too – she is beginning to develop an attraction for Marco, who travels with her but has a thirst for human blood when he passes through the mirrors into her world…

Wow! I really loved The Mirror Realm. Its full of Vampires, werewolves and dark magic. Twenty year old Lacey Swift escapes her evil uncle only to get dragged through a mirror into a world full of creatures. Friended by a werewolf and a hot vampire called Marco, the trio go on a quest to save the Mirror realm and Laceys twin sister from Draconia, a dark sorcerer. Using the mirrors to escape all that hunt them, the trio jump back and forth from Laceys world and the Mirror Realm. This book is full of action, fantasy and even some romance. Highly recommended.
Okay, so I read this whole series (four books) in two days! It's addictive with the perfect mix of action, danger, drama, discovery and smatterings of romance throw in. Its fast paced but you never feel lost in the plot as everything is described beautifully to immerse you in that 'when and there' - a wink to all who get that pun 😉. I took a chance on reading this as I was suffering from a book hangover from my last read and wasn't really sure what I was in the mood for...book lovers will understand what I mean! I'm so glad I hit that download button though (and subsequent ones for the next installment) but now I have an even worse hangover...the mirror realm and the group of odd friends are just so hard to let go of. There's no point in me even trying to explain that world, or the characters within the book, as I'd never do it justice - you'd do better to just read it and get lost in the pages as I did, you'll love it, I promise. A definite read for lovers of paranormal, fantasy, etc. The best way I can sum it up is to say its like a twisted, young adult, paranormal version of Lord of the Rings without the overload of testosterone! A journey to save worlds when the saviour has no clue what she's doing, but trying her best and kicking ass...basically, I loved it.
Lacey certainly has her work cut out for her. Thrust into the mirror realm she has to adapt or die. Two very different men are by her side, a snarky handsome vampire who Lacey is attracted to and a werewolf who is desperate to save their Queen. There is always a villain and his minions who try and thwart them at every turn.
am a little dissapointed in the book dont get me wrong the story is great full of new twist but i found lacking most was how the povs seem to change without really noticing one moment its this character and the next am.confused by whoes pov it is that being said the story overal is great i like this alot
A good start to the series, an interesting take on vampires and werewolves with a potential kickass heroine in the making. I'm looking forward to book two
. 🌟 2/5 Sternen
