This job didn’t ask me to take his daughter, but that’s exactly what I’ll do. I was supposed to kill the Don of our oldest rival crime family. But that was before I got a glimpse of his daughter. An untamable spitfire hiding under an innocent spoiled princess. Once I saw her, I had a different plan in mind. I plan to put her under me—night after night, again and again
Her father thought I was here to negotiate a truce between our crime families. He had no idea I was sent to destroy them from the inside.
His innocent daughter was the only one who suspected me. A princess who’s been sheltered from the world her father built. One look at her, and the last thing I wanted was to keep her quiet.
I’ll finish this job, and then I’m taking her as a bonus.
She may try to uncover me for who I really am. But not before I take her. Strip her. And leave her throat raw from screaming.
Dirty Nights is a full-length, standalone romance novel with steamy hot sex, NO CHEATING, strong language, a happily every after ending and NO CLIFFHANGERS. Contains dark and disturbing themes, and over the top sexiness that may be uncomfortable for some readers.
This was a pretty good dark read that I liked. Aedan was sent by his father an Irish Mob Boss to kill Livia's father Bruno but once he met Bruno and Livia he couldn't do it. He had no problem with them and actually liked Bruno Italian Mob Boss and Livia not negotiate a truce between the families When Aedan and Livia begin having a relationship Livia's mom didn't approve she didn't like Irish men she wanted her to be with an Italian man. I really liked both of these character's they reminded me of Romeo and Juliet the sex scenes in this book were good and this book had a lot of violence in it. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. This was my first time reading this author and I am looking forward to reading more of her work.
rcvd an advanced reader copy for from the author for providing a review. wow...what a great read. I found the characters similar to Romeo and Juliet but with way more sex, violence, lies, deception. we meet livia, mafia princess working for her father and dodging set ups by her Italian mother who wants her married off. we then more aeden, the illegimate son if a rival Irish mobster who is tasked with working a truce with the Italians. when aeden arrives be is stunned my the beauty in front of him and be wants her badly. livia is struck by the most rugged handsome man in front of her that make her lady bits quiver....but....he is Irish. aeden has no idea who she is when he flirts with her until the mob boss himself tells him. deception is what leads aeden to do the truce even tho his orders say one thing but his heart says another. livia wants aeden and is having a hard time keeping him at bay...enough of the cat and mouse okay when their lust get the better of them. what will happen when the truth is revealed? will livia forgive aeden? will aeden trust his gut? great story about opposites attract, drama, lies, and saving grace.
Dirty Nights is a dark mafia romance about Aedan and Livia. Aedan was sent to kill Livia's father Bruno but once he met Bruno and Livia he couldn't do it. He had no problem with them and actually liked Bruno and Livia. What will Aedan's father think of him disobeying his order? Can Aedan and Livia have a relationship despite their families objections? Paula Cox created believable characters and a story line that drew me in and left me wanting more. This is a well written suspenseful read full of violence, passion and romance. I love a great dark mafia romance and Paula Cox delivered. I highly recommend this book to everyone looking for a great book to read. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Had the privilege of reading the ARC. Paula did it again. Loved this story. Lots of twists and turns but even more love. Aeden and Livia's Famiy are enemies but nether of them can deny the attraction they feel. It's great when love ends up being stronger then either if their stubborn personalities.
* I am voluntarily reviewing an Advanced Reader Copy of this book* Somewhat typical of the BB mafia genre, this book is really fast paced and well written. Aedan and Livie are interesting, strong, compelling characters who I really enjoyed getting to know. The book has some great twists and was a great read.
An intelligent young woman, who has survived a lifetime of abuse from her sibling, learns how much strength she really has. A cold hit man is cold cocked with his feelings for this sensitive young woman. Together they are amazed at feelings neither has experienced and learn that together, they are more and better, softer and stronger.
a entertaining story of love. Livia and Aedan instantly fight their attraction. Reading this story and seeing how they figure it out was exciting. Both fighting their own fears and flaws. we get to see the real Aedan and Livia. I volunteered to read the story for my honest review
Great story. Loved Livia and Aedan. On two different ends of mob families, her Italian and him Irish, they find love and a truce between them all. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
