What started off slow turned into OMG what is happening! Roux Cantrell, page after page you were killing me. The suspense, the angst, the SEX - put a fork in me I am done. Girl, I was so scared at the end - not scared scared just afraid that stuff was going to happen that was going to break me. This book had me guessing all the way until the end and even then I still need answers.
I have heard in passing that Sonny has been claimed but I want to put my stake of claim on him here and now and will gladly fight it out with anyone who sees fit. I mean seriously - a sexy detective who likes it on the rougher side. Sign me up baby.
So in No Bounds we have two if not three storylines happening simultaneously. I would go into more details but it would give too
much away. An emotional ride from the beginning and when it all comes to a head you are left breathless and needing more. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book. No Bounds is full of suspense, romance, heartbreak, angst, love, loss and some not so pretty moments too. The book will keep you on the edge of your seat until the end.

After a slow start the story really gets going and you have to keep going to see what happens next. Sonny is a detective in New Orleans along with his partner Jorie. Together they’re are investigating a series of “rosary murders.” They’re trying to work out if it’s the same person or a different person being a copycat since the rosary placement has changed. During the course of his investigations he feels like he’s being followed but he can never see anyone. When he meets Dani he finds everything he’s ever wanted and they’re so hot together.
If you like your stories with lots of hotness, mystery and intrigue. I received a arc copy for an honest review for NN Book Blog. I enjoyed this book though a couple of times it got a bit frustrating with typos with the wrong word used changing the context or having to work out what was going on. Apart from that it was still a good read. Although part of The Big Easy Murder series it can still be read as a stand alone.

No bounds
What an interesting and intriguing story. This book will keep you n the edge of your seat. I couldn’t put it down till I had finished it because I knew the ending was going to be a surprise. WOW was it. I did figure it out before the ending but I had to be sure.
I loved the characters in this story and the relationship between Sonny and Dani. He was such an alpha male and Dani turned out to be a very strong woman who also wanted control.
Now I want to know what happened after the ending to this story. There’s some questions I have to ask. Another book that continues their story? I hope so. An amazing read ❤️

I truly love a good suspense story, especially one that has a combination of love, emotional highs and lows and excitement mixed in. This story has it all.
Sonny is a strong man, one that is trying to find a killer and serve Justice yet all the while has a feeling like being stalked by someone also. When he meets Dani he wasn’t wanting anything serious but how can he resist such a female. She is strong and fierce on her own and together these two make the story addictive.
My only downfall was the slower start but that passed quickly. It became a cannot out down book after that and I highly recommend.

I am in LOVE
Sonny Delacroix is the sexiest detective on the beat! I loved every twist and turn in this mystery. You get a double dose of suspense with this one and I can't say more without a big spoiler, which I will not do. I loved all the characters introduced in the book and when I tell you ladies to bring a cool towel for all the sexiness, I'm being serious! Roux Cantrell can write some scorching hot scenes. I just leaned back, pictured this gorgeous cover, read these steamy words and hoped my kindle didn't explode. I highly recommend this book!

Loved this story! I was hooked from the first page until the last and the suspense kept me on the edge of my seat. Sonny is a homicide detective in New Orleans, and there’s a serial killer in his town and him and his partner, Jorie, need to figure it out who it is. Sonny keeps himself guarded, then he meets Dani and they are immediately attracted to each other, and the more time he spends with her his feelings grow. A terrific read filled with suspense, angst, twists, and romance. I’m so looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

This was my first Roux Cantrell read and OMG! I was addicted to this book from the first page! This story kept you guessing and guessing and the end will leave you breathless! I truly loved this story and the suspense was fantastic! I love the setting in the fabulous city of New Orleans and Detective Sonny Delacroix was a great character to read about! This story was sexy and very suspenseful!!! Can’t wait to read more!!!

Formatting wasn’t great and the editing could use some work. I love NOLA and mentions of favorite spots was great.
The plot while intriguing was a little choppy and felt rushed and the clues related to the case have no consistency from one chapter to the next.
As low as this rating is I’ll have to get part two for some closure.

Oh man this was a good start to the series. It was so captivating and suspenseful too. Sonny is a detective for the New Orleans PD. A woman is murdered in a cathedral and him and his partner Jorie now have to try and figure out who it is. Now all hell breaks loose and he has to deal with that and something from his last. This was an amazing book.

WTF!!! That is what I say to this book. I mean wow just when you think things couldn't get any more creepy and suspenseful Roux takes you on a wild ride with Sonny and Dani and Jorie and Lori/Jess. This book was epic!!!

i was surprised at how much i enjoyed this story.. well written.. fast paced... curious... made me wonder what would happen next.. plus sexy and fun.. i was freaked out in spots... i had no clue if it would come out good or bad lol.. it was wonderful and i cant wait for the next

Very different to what i would usually read was a little slow to start.
But it's a mystery to who is Stalking her. Not a bad read once you get into it.

HOLY FREAKIN MOLY!!
I don't even know where to start. This book gave me a tension headache. It's wonderfully mysterious and romantic with just the right amount of sexiness to heat you up. The suspense in this story had me on the edge of my seat. The story is so intense it kept me guessing who was who to the very end. And now I want, no I NEED more. Sonny has been torturing himself for years over the death of the love of his life Jess. He has never let himself fall in love with another woman because he had promised Jess he would never love another. He knew Jess was having some mental struggles but he had no idea how bad she was. When he met Dani he was instantly attracted to her and her him. The more time they spent together the stronger his feelings grew but he continued to keep himself guarded. There is so much mystery surrounding Sonny's life and he doesn't even know half of it. The book will constantly keep you guessing. At times all I could do was sit there staring at my Kindle with my mouth hanging open thinking WTF? There are actually two mysterious characters in the story each pulling you in, one has your mind going one way and the other has you so going in a different direction. You never get a chance to catch your breath. Sonny and Dani begin to get really close and they're great together. Sonny opened himself up to alot of firsts with Dani. He let her spend the night at his apartment, meet his family even invited her to spend a weekend with him. And it was smokin hot. These two definitely set the sheets on fire. Sonny is the epitome of the alpha male and has to have control until Dani pushes him to let go alittle. The revelations you get in the end of this book are a teaser, they're jaw dropping but leave you wanting more. The cliffhanger will have you screaming. This book does have a few editing issues but not enough to take away from the story. I highly recommend this book to everyone! Oh and Bravo on using Alfie Gordillo on the cover. I could totally picture Alfie as Sonny's character.

This is only the first book in a series, so some questions remain unanswered for now, and I am looking forward to the rest of the series eagerly. This story is very well written, and flows beautifully. The characters are well fleshed out, and you really find yourself starting to emotionally connecting to them. I highly recommend this book.
