Dead. She was sure of it. But with no bodies and no missing persons reports, who would believe her? The profile photos attached to the friend requests Police Officer JJ Victory received were disturbing. The women were posed to look relaxed, but their unseeing eyes told another story. Was she going to have to solve this mystery on her own, or would she receive help from a unlikely source? A man who had a great deal of experience with the dead.

I've been a fan of Terri 's since the first book of the Mary O'Reilly Saga. She has become a friend I can count on to take me out of despair (I'm a six month widow), and into another captivating thriller. I am STILL waiting patiently?! for the baby! Thanks, Terri.
Or new series? I could see this book world expanding. I would like to know about more of each character's origins. Or it could be what it is, a short story. I enjoyed the story as I enjoy all of Terri's books..
This was an unexpected surprise, and not a favorable one. I usually love everything this author writes. However this particular short story was without any glimpse of her normal style. Instead it was a story about vampires, and not a very good one at that. Sorry I can't recommend this one.
If you have a half hour to spare and are looking for a quick, fun read, enjoy. Not at all what I expected having read only her paranormal mysteries, but it was cute.
I enjoyed the vampire story, especially the dog, but the twist that makes it a surprise ending seemed a little too contrived for me. It is, however, a thoroughly enjoyable story.
Talk about a short story! Corny in the extreme. I would recommend this to someone who has 5 minutes to kill. Would like to see the storyline written as a novel so the characters have more depth, etc.
That was fun! And just as I was really getting into the story.... it was over. Boo! I’d definitely be interested in a series with Luke and JJ! I love all of Terri Reid’s books and am always waiting for what she’ll write next. Can’t wait!
Good book, specially if you are a vampire buff. Since I am not, I wasn't exactly thrilled, but I am a fan of Terri Reid's, and I think everything she writes is pretty good.
