Sometimes we just need to take a day or two off and read a simple novel. A simple story with non-complex characters. A simple reminder that there are people like us out there living a normal life. It seems a stretch as books about simple people do not render the readers with an interesting book but there are times that simple books are what we need in our lives.
Truth be told, the real reason that I picked the book up was due to the fact that my eye caught the attention of the adaptation of the novel, Oxygen : The Series. At first the story seemed rather linear but the more I watched it, the more I was attracted to the sweet plot. The story revolves without any conflict that we see in other LGBTQ novels (yes I'm referring to TharnType. I love the cast and production but you have to admit, it is one of the least healthiest take on relationships of any kind). The story is what you might refer to as a pure, sweet relationship. The conflicts are resolved in a mature manner and the respective partners of the relationship shows a great amount of respect to each other that we all can learn from them a thing or two.
As I have mentioned with 2gether, this type of book is for those who are deep in the clutches of Thai BL genre. For them this would be a nice addition to the collection that is fast growing. The translations are not perfect but a shout out to Houzzini for doing a rather good job with the permission of the author. As always with novels that have been adapted to TV, I shall provide the corresponding promotional content of the show. Special mention to Supanut Lourhaphanich and Petch Chanapoom Thenwong who are doing an amazing job as Solo and Gui and managing to stay true to the characters of the novel. Especially Supanut, his portrayal as the big husky dog as Gui always calls Solo in impecable. More the reason why this live action adaptation is getting alot of love from the community.

This series has been there for a long, long time but it's always the TV series adaptation that made me actually read the book.
*The first episode premiered this month (12th September, 2020) and I got hooked because of the lovely warm chemistry between the two main characters. It just clicked and I knew there's no going back from watching the scene of Gui handing over the first mug of milk to Solo.
I really love Gui. I love looking at him.
Actually in the book Solo is the husky type (yes, Solo is actually compared to one and is being called that in Gui's head over and over again in the story. At first, it felt awkward but it turned out so cute but yes, if someone calls me like that I will kick their shin like no husky would!).
I wish the character representation of Solo was done by some other actor who fits the role as is described in the original book.
The TV series has overlooked and skipped some very important (if not to others but to me important) details (as always 🤦). I can tell the obvious differences between the important scenes already!
Solo is supposed to walk home everyday Gui (walking from a distance behind him) from the first night they met as it's already late the time they meet every night. And not walking together like Solo and Gui walking besides each other. Gui was supposed to notice it but Solo didn't want to make it obvious.
And yes, the scene where Gui had to bring the snacks to where Solo and the group were practicing for the Moon selection competition.
Gui was supposed to make Solo annoyed and tease him indirectly until Solo was pouting and sad making him believe that nothing was left for him to eat or drink. And yes, Gui was supposed to pour the milk from a hot Thermo flask and (yes, some other details!) but damn, the TV team made it all go simple and flat 😭
But still I love it whenever they are together on the screen 💕
***Some upcoming scenes which I am waiting for eagerly:
*When Solo has to perform on stage playing guitar and searching for Gui in the crowd. Gui isn't going to be obvious but when he smiles, Solo smiles back and Solo keeps his eyes hooked on Gui until the show ends.
(If this is not done well in the TV series, my heart is going to bleed! Like Niagara falls bleed!)
*When Solo didn't sleep for a whole night because he didn't get to drink milk handed to him by Gui, Gui had to stay at Solo's place. Some things happen here.
If the TV series miss all these things, I am so going to cry!!!!😭😭😭😭 Like ugly cry!!!!
*When Solo comes all drenched from head to toe late at Gui's coffee shop.
Ugh🤦😭😭😭😭😭
*When Solo gets sick after consecutive days of photoshoot and he cannot drive and Gui goes crazy worried 😭💘 and takes care of So. So is so freaking cute 😭😭😭😭😭

Leí esta historia porque va a salir la serie, y el teaser y sinopsis me llamaron mucho la atención y figuro muy satisfecha! Fue muy agradable porque es como suavecita jaja, es casi puro love y cosas tiernas, y las partes mas dramaticas también las disfrute mucho. Ambos personajes son muy bacanes y ame leerlos. Tengo demasiadas ganas de que salga la serie y ver cómo interpretan a todos estos personajes tan bonitos.
Además está gratis de forma legal lo que es muy novedoso, y aunque la traducción tiene muchos errores en cuanto me acostumbré dejo de distraerme mucho de la historia.

No se el mundo entero que lo haya leído, pero a mí me fue imposible no encariñarme con casi todo personaje existente aquí jsjs ¡Todo era muy lindo y nada tóxico! Esa sencillez, lealtad, mensajes hermosos y momentos nada forzados... Todo maravilloso ♡•♡

2.5 - 3 stars. This fiction has a very simple plot. The relationship between the two main characters is quite sweet. However, the storyline is not captivating enough to keep your attention until the last page. In sum, it is not bad, but not that great either.

This is really fluffy and healthy relationship story. I love how they just click from the very beginning and continue to grow together. The whole story is about them knowing each other, accepting their past and overcome their hurdle. Sweet love story.

Es muy cute, la verdad que es una historia sencilla y bonita, no hay mucho drama y el poco que hay solo es para darle sentido a muchas cosas, lo único que no me gustó fue que a veces era un poco pesada pero es muy bonita y tierna.

Es un libro que ya lei hace mas de 2 años, pero realmente es un libro que disfrute mucho leyendo, la relación de los protagonistas, es de las relaciones mas sanas que he leido en los libros, como se comunican y como se apoyan el uno al otro es relamente hermoso, relamente amo todos los libros de chesshire.
El libro tuvo un desarrollo increible, vi que muchos decian que la relacion iba lenta y que aburria, pero para mi fue a un ritmo perfecto y me mantuvo entretenida su historia durante todo el libro.
Lo unico es que si me hubiera gustado que la autora sacara un libro del papá de Solo con su asistente o que al menos pusiera mas partes de ellos en este libro, les falto explicar más a progundidad su historia.

The most perfect author of bl stories. Her purity and her writing flow is one of the best I've ever seen. She's become instantly my favorite bl author. The story and the charcaters are so well developed, interesting. The fact that makes me like this so much is that this is one story that doesn't use unecessary sex scnes just to satisfy the women who seek for bl to read just because of that. Yes, bl doesn't need to always have sex scenes. Deal wit that u.u Also, the TV series is coming out this september ( Sep 12th, 2020). I'm really excited about it!!

I have read the 1st and 2nd book in this series, was half way through the 3rd book (with English translation). But now I think that the English translation has been taken down. I have always liked this series, but now I'm really sad that I will not be able to read the other half of Anakin...... I have looked and looked for the book in an english translated version (maybe by Chesshire), but there is none..... I am just really dissappointed and kind of angry that I can not find an English translation now to finish the series that I fell in love with :(

Ay, estan bien preciosos ambos libros, al principio no entendía muy bien que estaba pasando, pero conforme avanza la historia te va atrapando hasta el punto en que no necesitas dormir, necesitas respuestas XD
Me gustó el crecimiento que tienen los personajes a lo largo de la historia, son la viva prueba de que el amor te cambia, en este caso para muy bien. 1000 recomendados si necesitas leer algo bien bonito y soft sin rallar en lo empalagoso.

There is no angst, no conflict, no drama. I HATE when charterers talk about themselves in 3rd person body and the Thais do it all the time. Annoying.
I DNFed it after chapter 10. So sorry.

Such a sweet and heart-warming couple. Every single part makes me getting butterflies. And of course, have the side story about P'Phu's younger brother. Such a dark story but the mixing of the story or the plot is AMAZING! Literally Kao is very cute there heee
