Again Flora Ferrari has engaged me with another smexy tale entitled "Mechanic." With funny banter and off the wall chemistry, alpha male mechanic, Mack Massey and unique but down-to- earth comedian, Dawna had together -- this book was a quick but hawt little page-turner!
Dawna on her way to fulfill her dreams at a comedy audition in California when car troubles leads her to business owner, Mack's garage. Mack is instantly smitten with frustrated Dawna and sees her as 'the one' for him and he instantly sets out to make her see it too! He wants her happy and take an opportunity to take her to Cali and it's ROAD TRIP TIME!
I won't give the story away with additional hints but know this, this couple had a priceless passion for one another!
Read Mechanic, you will be engaged from beginning to end! Hawt and SEXY HEA !!!!!

Safe and easy, but also unfortunately boring. I didn’t feel the chemistry at all between these two. And now the pringling is over.

I think this is my favourite book from this series so far. I loved Mack. He was a sexy, protective alpha caveman when he needed to be, but he could also be a gentleman.
Dawna finds herself stranded with car trouble; broke, alone and trying to get to Hollywood for a gig that could change her life. When she pulls into Mack’s mechanic shop, Mack feels instantly compelled to protect her, help her and ultimately love her. The connection between them is instant.
Unfortunately the bad news is that her car isn’t roadworthy, however Mack is happy to be her driver.
They set off on a road trip filled with insta-lust, insta-love and basically insta-everything, but it makes for a fun, sexy and light summer read!
No cheating, no cliffhanger and of course a Flora Ferrari happily ever after!

She needs him for her car. He is wants her for different reasons and is willing to go very far to get her. It is a very hot, steamy, exciting, funny, suspenseful and so much more. One of those stories you have a hard time putting down and it grabs you right away. Well written and I recommend it. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.

Mack is doing something he loves to do, work under the hood. He has money, a lot of money, but he keeps that fact hidden. He is extremely careful with dating as well, there is no reason he needs to be throwing away his money for someone that is only after his money. Then, she walks in, and there is about to be a whole lot of change for Mack.
Dawna is on her way to California, in her beater of a car. She has not had a great life, but she has always been able to turn it around. Now she is on her way to making a living as an improv comedian. There is an opening and she is on her way to make her dream come true. At least that is what she thought, until her car broke down and she is in the auto shop.
Mack usually allows his employee talk to the people that are coming into the shop, but Mack knows where he is more needed and more comfortable. What takes him by surprise is the instant draw to this girl who he hasn’t even talked to. At first he feels she is a snobby girl who comes from well to do, then as he talks to her he realizes she is a bit innocent, a bit fun, and all his from this point on. He has never felt this before, but he is going to roll with the changes.
After being told her car situation is hopeless, due to the money part of it, she excuses herself to the restroom and gives into a good cry. Now she is going to have to face the facts. What she isn’t expecting is that Mack has offered to take her to California. She has little money in her pocket, and is a bit nervous about it, but decides she is going to take him up on that offer.
Along their trip they sing, talk, laugh, and take pictures. Now it is time for the other twists to occur. They make it as far as the California sign when things start happening. Mack and Dawna stop for the night and rent a hotel room. Things start to change for the better and they heat up quickly. They are both not sure what is going to happen once the destination is reached but they are both giving this everything they have got. There are many exciting and fun filled things that happen, including the surprise Mack tells Dawna and their sweet happy ending.

Although I liked all of this story, my favourite thing about this book was the playfulness. I adored that Dawna and Mack had fun together acting like kids. Because of that, the chemistry between them was clear to see and I was rooting for them to get together. I liked that Mack was determined to keep Dawna, even if it meant relinquishing control on his business to a new manager.
I found this book to be fun and sweet. If you’re looking for a fast paced insta love story than this book is for you. Both the hero and heroine are likeable characters and the storyline is cute.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and a nice read.
Dawna is a stand up comedian on the way to achieving her dream. Whilst on the way to California for a gig, Dawna’s car breaks down in El Paso. Mechanic, Mack Massey, wants Dawna as soon as he sees her. With a successful auto repair shop and a loaded bank account, he is missing one thing.. a woman to share it with. When Mack learns of Dawna’s gig and the fact she now has no way to get to it, he decides to take her. As the pair travel to California they have fun along the way but also a few bumps. When both Mack and Dawna fall for one another will it work out? Or will Dawna’s new career cause a problem?

I love Flora's books. They are always a lot of fun to read, the characters are great, they are very quick reads and are sexy. Dawna hasn't always had an easy life. She grew up without her parents due to one being a drug addict prostitute and the other just not being there. Her dream job is to be a comedian and she has a chance to go to Hollywood to be on the big stage for her Big Break. When she's on her way, her car starts to smoke and starts to break down. When she sees a sign for a garage, she is relieved. Mack who is the owner of the garage is a bit older but very sexy. When he sees Dawna, the attraction is instant. He wants her and will do anything he has to to make her his. When he gives her the bad news about her engine being blown and needs to be replaced, Dawna doesn't have the money for that considering she has about $130 to her name. When he offers to take her to California himself, she accepts and they have the ride of their lives. Can two people fall in love with each other so easily? Is it possible to find happily every after when you really aren't looking for it? I won't tell you anymore because I'm not that type of reviewer. Like I said before, this is a very quick fun read. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader's Copy of this book.

This story start in El Paso, Dawna is stand-up comedian and has to be in LA HOLLYWOOD IMPROV, for tomorrow night show. Dawna's car is on its last cylinder. She reaches El Paso , where MACK MASSEY AUTO REPAIR . Mack is older ,but he sees Dawna as the perfect woman. He help Dawna to get to LA. BOTH Mack and Dawna fighting against falling in love with each other . But with captivating sizzling chemistry , there no stopping it. SO ROLL UP YOUR SEELVES, TURN UP THE A/C OR ROLL DOWN ALL THE WINDOWS CRANK UP THE MUSIC PUT YOUR FOOT TO THE PEDAL THE PEDAL TO FLOOR. It is time for adventure and driving into love. Flora has written a strong structure storyline and well developed characters and supporting characters brilliant exquisitely well written , you can not help falling in love with . The story is drama hilarious rom-com adventures captivating sizzling chemistry hot streamy explosives sex provocative intoxicating and captivating from start to finish 💋 💖 . Dawna stops there hoping she can get her car fixed and back on the road again.
Mack is the owner and mechanic in the garage. He is from the wrong side of the tracks but his business has made him successful. When he sees Dawna pull up, he is instantly drawn to her. He looks at her car but it has a blown engine which would take too long and cost too much to fix. Dawna is heart-broken but Mack gives her a great deal. He buys her car for scrap and offers to drive her to California. Dawna is very attracted to him and wants her dream so she says yes.
Mack and Dawna have lots of fun and obstacles on their trip. This is a sweet and funny read with insta-love between the characters. I really loved Mack who took risks and loved so much.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Dawna and Mack Massey. Dawn is a comedian who has finally got her big break. She is about to do her act at the improve. That is great until she see smoke coming from from under her hood. She is in luck she thinks when she sees Mack Massey Auto Repair sign just up ahead. To bad for her the damage is more than she has on her. Mack takes one look at this girl and thinks of things like forever and babies. That has never been his thing in the past and he doesn't even know why he is thinking it now. One look at that girl though and he knows he is not letting her get away. Can these two find a HEA or will the things they want in life dive them apart?
This is an amazing story. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Foster care survivor Dawna's dreams are about to come true as the opening act at the Hollywood Improv. Dawna's dreams come crashing down when she notices smoke coming from underneath the hood of her car and stops at Mack Massey Auto Repair with only $137.42. Mechanic Mack has been married to his auto repair shop ever since he opened it 10 years ago. Times were tough at the beginning but the shop has made Mack a very rich man and he has everything except for a woman ... until the beautiful and curvy Dawna walks into his life. Mack examines Dawna's car and lets her know that her engine's blown. Unfortunately Dawna can't afford to pay for a replacement, even with Mack offering free labour and an inexpensive used engine. When Mack finds out that Dawna has to be in Los Angeles tomorrow night as the opening act at the Hollywood Improv, he offers Dawna a ride. Dawna accepts the ride from the handsome mechanic and they head off on what promises to be a fun road trip. Will Mack be able to convince Dawna he's the right guy for her?

This story is a fabulous read, the chemistry between Mack and Dawna is electric, the storyline was surprisingly different to what I expected in a good way. Well written this is a superb read by the very talented Flora Ferrari and I highly recommend this book

ONE INCREDIBLY AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!
OMG! Man, talk about thinking outside the box. This little jewel totally blew me away. Flora put a refreshing spin to insta-quick-and head over heels in a feels good whirlwind romance that pulls you so deep you feel like you're experiencing what the characters are. Their deep connection, spicy heat, white hot chemistry really brings this little gem roaring to life beautifully. All the trials and tribulations just brings everything into sharp focus. The characters are complex, believable and realistic. The scenes are graphic and detailed it makes for one incredible backdrop that Flora totally nails. Amazing job Flora, thanks for sharing this little treasure with us.

Dawna is on her way to a show that could make her career in the comedy scene when her car breaks down. Mack is a mechanic and its his shop she drives into. Mack is drawn to Dawna and wants to help her and the only way to do that is offer her a ride because her car is toast. They have an amazing road trip together until someone steals his truck. Things steam up between them but will it be enough for them to last?
This is an amazing story that will have you laughing out loud and wishing you were in the truck with them. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Another great older man younger woman story from the queen of this genre and once again Flora Ferrari has knocked it out of the park.
Dawna grew up in the foster system but instead of her letting that get her down she used it as material for her stand up comedy routine and now she has a chance of making it big on the scene she just has to make it to this show which is hard when her car is toast. She pulls into the garage owned by Mack he is instantly drawn to this young woman even though he is older than her he makes it is mission to get her to that show Which becomes a trial as things continually go wrong will they make it to the show on time will she get her chance at the big time and will she realise that she also has the love of a lifetime right there in her hands

Like always, Ms. Ferrari did not disappoint!! I swear her books just get better with each new one I read. I really enjoyed this one especially because it wasn't about a billionaire. It was about a regular guy who is a mechanic and saves the day for Dawna, a younger girl whose dreams are on the line. It's definitely insta-love for Dawna and Mack so if you find that to be too impossible or too unrealistic, then this may not be the book for you but I would still say to give a try. A quick read but like always, it's complete and you don't find the story to be lacking.

This is another of these insta - everything. For some reason this story and I are not quite best friends... There is nothing wrong with this one, I just feel the - however to describe that - the umph - is missing for me or the last little whatever it is that makes a difference in a story. As English is not my mothertongue, lets blame it on that, that I am missing this word somehow. The story line is there and the characters are quite well written and the story as well, it is just that little punch line that I am missing. So this time I have to give out three beautiful stars.

Solid Alpha Romance...
Dawna the Comedian and Mack the Mechanic were hot and sweet together. As all the books in this series, the alpha’s attraction is swift and a plot is put in place to win the lady’s heart...successfully. This was the storyline here.
I liked that the author gave the lady a different personality other than an office job. Kudos! Also the mechanic was very supportive to the desires of Dawna and was in a position to act upon them. Another kudos!

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Mack and Dawna. She's a young woman who's had a rough start in life, as a foster kid trying to make her way in the world. She stumbles into his shop when her car breaks down on the way to her big break. He's blown away with how beautiful Dawna and wants to help her no matter what. This is their adventure from trying to make it to California to the improv show that could launch her career as a comedian. Great HEA that had lots of laughs along the way.

Dawna is on her way to Califoria when her car breaks down and she pulls up to Mack Massey's Repair Shop.
On her way to California to appear at a comedy club Dawna was upset when her car breaks down and she manages to get to Mack Massey's Repair Shop. When she is told the engine will need to be replaced she knows she can not afford the repairs and is surprised when Mack offers to drive her to California. Mack watches the beautiful woman walk towards his shop and knows he wants her as his and when she is stranded he offers to drive her so he can get to know her. A romance to relax and enjoy.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. Wow what a quick and steamy read! Ms Ferrari has done it again. This was a great insta-love book. Not quite what you may expect from the title. Yes, Mack is a mechanic and Dawna is a women in need of someone to fix her car that breaks down in El Paso where Mack owns his own garage. That is whee the story evolves into a different type of story based on the title. What it does turn into is a wonderful road trip about following your dreams and finding love along the way. This was such a great read and I look forward to more books from Ms Ferrari!

Mack isn't what he seems and is determined to wait for the right woman before he shows his cards. Dawna's had a rough life and if offered the opportunity to pull out of the hole. One car brings these two together. Will they make it to her job opportunity before it is to late? Will Dawna accept that Mack is the one?
Perfect insta-love! This was a quick hot read to go along with the rest of the series! Loved how Dawna and Mack meshed together! Mack was willing to go to any length to make sure that Dawna got her dream.

I enjoyed this story. It's a quick, fast paced read and a fun way to pass a little bit of time. There was plenty to keep me entertained as I read it. The characters were fun and they got to have a fun adventure as they traveled through a couple states so that Dawna could make it on time to her gig. It's instant lust/connection and things quickly become more for the two of them. The sex is explicit and fits into the story. Overall, I enjoyed it and was entertained while reading it.

These books are short with this one focusing on love and lust at first sight. You have to love a man who knows what he wants and sets out to get it. A budding comedienne gets a car malfunction and limps into Mack's mechanic shop and he drops everything to take off from Texas to California to get her to Hollywood to perform the next night. The characters are well developed and it is a lovely romantic story with lots of hot bits to keep us entertained. A joy to read as always.

Dawna grew up in care and has turned her experiences into a comic routine. He big break is at hand. Opening at the Improve. Car trouble lands her in El Paso at Mack Massy's Auto Shop.
Mack see the elegant lady heading in he is smitten. When he hears her story he follows he heart. A fun fast and steamy road trip from El Paso to LA. Along the way two strangers fall in love.
Loved Dawn and Mack, a nice light and steamy read. Loved their bonus epilogue. I love Flora's books, her stories never disappoint.

When Dawna's car breaks down and she ends up at Mack's shop he instantly believes she is the one for him even before he talks to her. This story is how Mack gave Dawna a helping hand to get to LA for her big chance in comedy.
You are not given a ton of information about their past lives but you understand that both have things they may want to put behind them and they find an immediate acceptance and comfort in each other.
It will put a smile on your face.
