Another superfluous chapter in our adventures with the affluent MMO player Ichiro Tsuwabuki, this team we get to see the conflict between Nem and Iris boil over, and we also get to see our favorite servant (Sakuroko / Kirshwasser) take a more leading role.
I appreciate that the author is giving more life to the Virtual Reality setting, letting us meet the game managers, how the creators care more for frivolous additions than combat balance, and talking about status ailments and visual effects that show up on the player's screen and can affect them slightly in reality. Still, the setting remains barebones. The majority of this chapter takes place at a beach, but there isn't enough description of the setting for you to have a picture of it in your mind. This remains a character focused comedic action series.
Art in this one was hit or miss. For a beach episode, this wasn't very fan service laden either.
There were definitely times that I lost interest in this one, particularly because the small scale skirmish is a bit drawn out. I think some may be frustrated by the resolution of this chapter too. The author says in the afterward that this chapter was not in the original web novel, so in a sense I think you could see this as filler.
