A modern day Dr. Frankenstein, probing the secrets of life and death.

A secret society spawned by the greatest evil the world has ever known.

Two men racing against the clock to stop the spread of a horrific virus
.

On three different continents, a mysterious illness has baffled scientists and incited worldwide panic. When a tattoo steeped in Aryan mysticism is found on one of the victims, a South African boy who walked into his township a month after his own funeral, Interpol turns to Professor Viktor Radek and Dominic Grey for help.

After racing from Atlanta to Rekyjavik to Cape Town, Grey and Viktor come to believe the deadly virus is connected to a resurgence of a legendary arm of the Nazi party. A global organization whose leader might be a notorious brain surgeon rumored to have performed illicit tests during Apartheid, and who might be continuing his experiments from a sun-drenched manor in the Western Cape.

As the victims of the virus mount and the chance for a cure fades, the world's only hope to prevent a catastrophe beyond imagining rests in the hands of a broken warrior and a relentless professor, facing the darkest of forces.

I have won this book through a Giveaway and Mr. Green, thank you very much for the book.

There is nothing else to do but to praise "The Resurrector". I was disappointed with the last book I reviewed, it's hard to express that disappointment through words. So, I gave a chance to "The Resurrector" and thank Godness, what a relief. This is the sixth book and my first in the Dominic Grey series. I regret for not reading previous books in the series because "The Resurrector" really had me going, you are just moving onto next page, next chapter, dying to see what's gonna happen next.

Well, "The Resurrector" isn't something new, It's about a virus that is spreading around the world and there are certain characters who must stop bad guys from their evil crime. Nothing new, but the main characters, their relationship, locations and dialogues make this book extremely interesting. The case in the book is okay, it's not so focused on the virus itself as it is about revealing the characters that are behind epidemic. I liked the action, too, really fast-paced indeed. Almost didn't had time to blink when I read it :)

Maybe one day, I will have an opportunity to read the rest of the books in the series, but for now, "The Resurrector" is my strong recommendation for those who like this kind of genre.

The best Dominic Grey novel yet!

I've read all of Layton Green's Dominic Grey novels and I think The Resurrector is clearly the best one yet. Dominic Grey has always been a fascinating character, but in this novel we find him in his his most vulnerable emotional state and this makes him even more interesting. Also, in this book Professor Radek reveals much more about his inner feelings and motivations which also makes for a more interesting read.
The action, as usual, is fast-paced moving frenetically from New York to South Africa to Iceland and back again. The reader is immersed into each geographic location with the author's skilled use of description. And it's not just a good guy vs. bad guy shoot out. Green, through his characters, brings up profound philosophical issues like the nature of good and evil, and can we achieve a better world without resorting to violence?
I read this novel in less than 2 days....so when is the next Dominic Grey novel coming out? I can't wait!

Man, what the what? I must say, this one was the best yet.

The Resurrected, was an exhilarating read. I didn't know if I was in an Indiana Jones or Laura Croft movie with a twist of Stephen King.

The mad scientist, Aryan brotherhood, Bioweapons, Genocide is this the apocalypse???

It was thrilling & scary to think people could develop, no have developed bioweapons that have caused mass genocide.

Dominic & the Professor certainly have their hands full. From Atlanta to Africa to Iceland, they are on a mission.

Two new players added to the mix, Jax (the mercenary) & Charlie (Dominic Grey's student). Oh the web we weave.

But don't just take my word, get your copy of the Resurrector & see what you think.

It made me go hmmmmmm, several times.

Well enough about my review. Form your own once you're done.

Holla at your gurl, until we meet again. Happy reading!! Ciao

The first book in the series was good, and the following books in this series have been increasingly better and more enjoyable to read.

Horrible subject matter to think about, yet the best of the Grey series yet. Both Dominic and the Professor are so human with complicating emotions compared to the most of the first four books.

Not his best writing

His portrayal of Georgia in the book is insulting and his dislike of the USA seemed apparent
Seemed like a bunch of liberal
