Paul White was an Australian missionary doctor in Africa who learned to clothe his Bible teaching in fables, creating stories with a timeless quality. When he returned home to Australia his stories were discovered and published to world-wide acclaim.
Behold, a book that has not aged well. Very colonialist and superior white Christian man coming to save the Africans. Heavy on the Christian preaching morals and putting down the local customs and ways. I am sure the missionary hospitals did many good deeds to help the local community but it does read in a very dated way and propaganda for the Christian cause a plenty.
