Health problems hit, but now with book #100 out, I am looking forward to my retirement. I am not only an avid writer, but an avid reader. I am constantly with a book, whether writing my own or reading someone else's, I am always looking for a new journey and believe that with books and a vivid imagination, anything is possible. I love and thank the readers who bring the stories to life. Thanks for what you add to the books. Your imaginations, added to my own, complete the stories. This journey has been amazing. Thanks, family, friends, and amazing readers
This is a gentle and intimate portrait of 36-year-old Tina Baxter Martin’s serendipitous encounter with death and her reluctant re-entry into her life with renewed purpose. The veil that hides this world from the next has been lifted and she has been given the gift of psychic foresight and empathy, but she struggles to determine why it has been bestowed. In many of her stories, P.S. Winn delves into afterlife, otherworldly, transcendental, and occult experiences creating a multiplicity of silken threads that weave a tapestry of enlightenment for her readers. Gentle, like a stream that pours itself into a boundless river, Unveilings offers us a glimpse into its main character’s potential to reach beyond the mundane to infinite transcendence, and her desire to know how and when to use her new abilities for a higher purpose. The ending is poignant, satisfying and heartfelt, as Tina provides the much-needed forgiveness and courage to a soul ready and willing to cross over into the light. What higher purpose could there possibly be.
Tina survives an awful car wreck, traveling across the veil of death but returning to life when she is told it is not her time. The story then unfolds as she tries to fathom why she was permitted to come back from death. I will not tell you more for to do so would spoil the story for you. Suffice it to say it is hopeful, it is loving, it is kind, it is well written with characters whose mind and hearts are fleshed out, real as life. P.S. Winn is a wonderful story teller. And she takes on afterlife, the fulfillment of life and its ending with a heart which is evidently full of hope and joy. I always enjoy reading one of her books. I hope she will continue on her journey of word smithing for many years to come.
Everyone Should Read This Book A marvelous and educational read. Tina, a divorcee, is in a serious automobile accident and experiences a near-death experience. Her soul leaves her body and observes the accident scene and the activity of her rescuers, then makes a trip to Heaven and is greeted by the soul of her best childhood friend who died at age eight. An individual she does not recognize tells Tina’s soul she must return to the world of the living. After a long recuperation, Tina makes a complete recovery but is haunted by the feeling that she was sent back for a specific reason yet has no idea what that is. The remainder of the book follows Tina’s adventures while trying to discover the reason she was sent back to the Earth.
I could barely put this book down and at the end I cried. I've lost more loved ones then I want to count, including two of my own children at young ages. I hope when someone passes that this is how it is.
Tina recovers from her tragic accident but is never the same again. She has the perception of being brought back from the afterlife and senses a definite purpose since returning. She struggles to know the reason. She feels she has a higher purpose in life that she must live out.
Author Winn has a vivid imagination in creating this paranormal take on a journey into the unknown—the hereafter.
Of course, nobody can prove the afterlife and so it can be a sensitive subject for many with different views of what happens when we pass. Even so, Unveilings is well written, full of intrigue, and with twists and turns you won’t see coming. Fantasy lovers will find it a highly suspenseful mystical tale and it would make a great movie.
Great spiritual story! Tina is flawed and emotional, she's upbeat and anxious to learn. Especially when her life takes a turn she could never have predicted: she dies in an auto accident and returns with a new lease on life. An actual purpose—her destiny—to which she'd never had a clue before. I felt for this heroine all the way because I experienced a similar spiritual awakening. Ms. Winn so accurately portrayed this...even if you aren't a spiritual reader, this story will not disappoint. Just a side note, I would love to see the book go through another edit by the author.
This book takes readers to the other side and back. It also takes readers into the life of Tina Baxter Martin, a woman confused after she was sent back from the other side. Follow along as the author takes you on a journey crossing supernatural and spiritual. The author answers some interesting questions along the way. If you have read any of this authors other books you may find references to some other characters you have met.
After Tinas accident she crosses over but returns with the quest of finding her true purpose. We are reunited with josh from Obligations and Marissa from Believing. It is evident that Ms. WINN has a gift for writing these kinds of stories.
Marvellous story about a woman called Tina who was sent back to earth after a car crash. Very fascinating story. PS Winn is a very talented author and she takes you on a journey like never before with her words. Will certainly be reading more of her stories.
