This was little more than two long, drawn out sex scenes and honestly PWP. With that being said, if you’re looking for a book to just simply get down and dirty with, this is a great option. I was expecting a real story with character development, emotional attachment, etc. but it’s my fault for not realizing this book is only 116 pages.
This involves a BDSM relationship and I did have a bit of an issue with some aspects. For instance, they haven’t seen each other in 10 years but jump straight into punishments. They play a game where Megan has multiple rules to follow and if she breaks one, she receives five more lashes, spanks, etc. It eventually got to the point they were doing little more than continuously striking her and seemed all punishment with little pleasure. I find it irresponsible that Eric did not have a more in-depth conversation with Megan regarding what she was okay with. Also, he allowed Colby to learn and practice how to use a belt and cane on Megan - which could have gone horribly wrong.
Overall, I liked it but I wish it hadn’t focused so heavily on punishment.

Another great story. The characters she writes continue to be well developed and the storyline is also well rounded. I am looking forward to when the author has time to write a sequel for this book.

This was a smoking hot read.

Of the four Jennifer Bene stories I have read – Imperfect Monster, The Invitation, Reunited, and The Rite – the Reunited is my least favourite. It was an enjoyable read, but it didn’t quite pack the same punch as the three other stories I have read.
For me, Reunited can be split into two parts. The first part is the fun and games of the characters meeting again after years apart. The second part is the steamy coming together of the characters. I enjoyed both aspects, but neither part blew me away in the way I had hoped. I enjoyed getting to know the characters – I certainly found them to be enjoyable. I enjoyed the steam – it was exactly what I have come to expect from Jennifer Bene, meaning it was incredibly hot.
I’m not quite sure why I didn’t come to love it in the way I had hoped. I enjoyed it, but there was just something missing – something I could not identify, but it was enough to hold me back from giving this a four-star rating. Wow, a NSFW mega-steamy kink-fest of a read
This is a second-chance, erotic BDSM romance blend and overall is much lighter than the majority of Jennifer Bene's work. Whilst the majority of the book involves menage scenes between the three main characters, there is some good world building/ scene setting both at the beginning of the story and prior to the 'added epilogue'.
I like Jennifer's writing and know that I am going to get a boundary pushing, hugely steamy read. I loved her Black Light stories and really liked the sound of this from the blurb. I wasn't disappointed. Her heroine is a masochist and there are some fairly strong 'punishment' scenes. However all scenes are SSC and the heroine has a safeword/signal that she can use at any time she wishes.
Megan is goaded, by her sister, into attending her 10 year school reunion. Divorced, broke and trying to complete the college degree she dropped out of to follow the ex she would sooner forget, Megan feels like a total failure. Eric was the boy she left behind, part of her wants to see him, the rest of her dreads it. Not only is Eric there, but so is his best friend, Colby, the guy she secretly crushed on even though she was in love with Eric. What follows is a steamy, kink fest of an encounter that is hot, hot HOT and most definitely NSFW.
Even though this is a novella I really felt like we got to know Megan. She is hugely likeable and real. Despite bad decisions in the past she hasn't lost her strength or determination to get where she wants in life. Whilst we didn't perhaps get as much depth on Eric and Colby I did still feel we got the measure of them and they definitely felt like quite different and individual characters.
Their story was huge fun and whilst it wasn't challenging or angst-filled, it was still very captivating. I also totally bought into the story and whilst the original short story was good I absolutely loved the extra part that was added.
This was a fairly quick read, so I wasn't tempted to skim any of it. Whilst I wouldn't describe the BDSM as hard-core it is quite focused on pain. I've seen reviewers refer to 'beating', which isn't correct. This is a CONSENSUAL power exchange where the heroine is a masochist and ENJOYS pain, this does reflect how a lot of people feel in real life. Don't judge just because it isn't your kink, and if those type of scenes would offend you then proceed with caution on this one. Personally I'd recommend this to anyone who enjoys a steamy menage read with a good sprinkling of BDSM.

Who wouldn't want a High School Reunion surprise like this one, One that could change everything for Megan and her big second chance with her ex boyfriend and secret crush and let me tell you these two are hotter then sin and I loved Erics control take charge and Colbys softer side it was such a good mix along with Megans feisty attitude that just edges them on. You can feel all the emotions combined from these characters and they have such big hearts and passion it was beautiful and that ending perfection the way it should be they deserve it all.

Scorching hot chemistry and sexy action with a sweet love story underlying it!
I'd love to be able to tell you how much I love Ms Bene's writing style but I'm no writer, and the superlatives fail me!! I love how I was right there with the female lead: captivated and attracted to these two cheeky, charming, super hot men!
The sexual tension between these three was so real and believable that I finished the book in one sitting feeling very euphoric and satisfied .
It's a common enough setting for a story as school reunion stories abound but Ms Bene steered clear of all the usual clinches and I've never enjoyed another this much!
If you're lucky enough to get the follow-up story at the end then you too are going to LOVE it.
The original story was complete and satisfying but the additional epilogue was like a star burst of a finish!
I'm off to read another book by Ms Bene now.....she's addictive!

If you've ever been single and attending your high school reunion, no matter the year, admit it. It would be really nifty to hook up with an old boyfriend or crush. In "Reunited", Megan has the opportunity to hook up with her high school boyfriend AND the class playboy. Cues swooning. This was a fun, sexy read. If you're expecting a light romp, then this story isn't for you because there are some questionable sexual activities taking place that while swoon-worthy, aren't for everyone. You have been warned. But if you do like a dose of kink with your fun, then sit back, grab some wine, nibble on a bit of chocolate, and enjoy the read. I might have actually ignored work yesterday, in favor of reading the story. Yea, okay, I did. So worth it.

Very soon, all three begin playing a game called, “Consequences.” This story is awesome. When the three start playing, butterflies erupted in my stomach and the longer they played, the harder it got for me to breathe. And, I don’t need to tell you anything else except, if you are interested in Dominance, submission, a variety of punishments, and dizzyingly hot sex, READ THIS STORY!!!

I bought this a year or so ago and never got around to reading it. Then I find out that Jennifer Bene has added some to the story so I got this one. WOW!! This was an emotional read for me. I could feel the feelings and when the three characters got together for the night, I was thrilled for them. It ended with one of them leaving but.............................................we get a glimpse of the three later on down the road. Oh how the story needed this update. I loved every word of the added content and it completed the story for me. If you've read this before, then you need to get this version and read it again! Mind blowing!

Loved the concept of this book - first love reunited after ten years, with the chemistry still going strong. The characters fill their roles expertly, with Eric as the experienced Dom and Meg as the submissive who has never really found anyone to fill his shoes. Add in the lighter element of Colby with his humour, and this trio is a delight to read.
The addition of the future (the extension of the anthology version) gave a wonderful insight into how Eric and Meg's life twines with Colby's.
For anyone who loves a menage with BDSM, Reunited is definitely a must-have addition to your library. It's a 5* recommended read from me :)

Divorcée Megan Harper isn't happy to be at her 10 year high school reunion until her ex Eric Lewis and his best friend Colby Warren show up. The gorgeous Eric kisses Megan and teases her with the dominance she had all but convinced herself she'd imagined in high school. While I love Jennifer Bene's darker erotic books, I also enjoyed seeing this lighter side of her writing. High school reunions are a toss-up as far as how much you can enjoy them. Megan didn't want to admit that she's struggled these past years. But meeting up with not only Eric, but also Colby, definitely changed her outlook for the evening! I had a fun time reading this funny, sexy book, and I loved the dominance in her men! Great read, and a great change of pace, but don't stop writing those darker books, please!!

A hot and saucy little novella that left me with a washer full of panties and downing about 2 gallons of water.
The characters were fun, sexy and interacted well eith each other. I loved the intense connection between Megan and Eric in particular and throwing Colby into the mix made my damn head spin!

A well written story that will leave you wanting more. This story was so different from most menage stories that I have read. Different in a very good way. The author took you along in this story and I really liked the twist at the end. This book is not as dark as some of Ms. Bene’s material but it is just as hot and sexy.

Reunited was an enjoyable MFM story. A tenth year class reunion goes better then expected for Megan. She meets up with her ex-high school boyfriend. The reunion becomes memorable when another of their friend joins them for a night of hot sex. My first book by Ms. Bene and I look forward to reading more of her books.

Great book and a great short read! Jenniger Bene can has brought these characters to life at their high school reunion. Ohhhh...and what a reunion it is! Megan, Eric and Colby all share an experience to remember! Well I can stop picturing it in my mind! I'm really glad this edition had the extra "A Night Off" because OMG!!! I want to move in!

Wow this book was a very intense dark read that will have you hook from the first page tell the very end. This book is about two men in love with the same woman since high school. These two men have a chance at renion night to be together with one woman and it is a very steamy intense night.. this is a must read book that you will be hooked on.

Never has there been a reunion I so wanted to be a fly on the wall at as this one with Megan, Eric and Colby - all I can say is, phew the reunion was well worth it and I loved that fact we saw the future lives of these reunited as it helped me ease the 'want to know more' aspect as a reader. Perfectly written Ms. Bene!

I have never been to a high school reunion that ended like this but then I went to an all girls school so there was no chance. The kinky scene in the classroom was hot and given that Megan didn’t want to go she was one lucky girl. Her luck continues with not only her high school sweetheart but also the hottest guy in high school and her secret crush. One hot ménage.

Eric shows up with Colby, his best friend and Megan’s crush, both have plans for Megan. This is a off the charts hot steamy read with great characters and an entertaining story. I was hooked from beginning to end on this steamy ménage read.

I just had a double dose of hot, humming goodness.
Contrary to Ms. Benes usual dark tales, this is a story full of light and love and family. The play scenes are written in her usual intense and tingling style but this time with lots of fun and humor mixed in.

Hot shot of sweet and steamy menage
A fun, enjoyable ride just right when you need a positive vibe. The second chance romance is sweet on both sides. Adding in the best friend with unrequited passion and you've got a winning combination. A very good, fulfilling short story with enough steam to keep you warm. Definitely recommend.

This menage was scorching hot! And while it definitely had the BDSM theme, it was like Jennifer Bene light. Not dark and twisted, but still smoking hot with a cute story about these three. I only wish my reunion was this much fun! And the added chapter at the end made an incredible, and unexpected, ending.

What a wonderful, sexy, hot story. After reading this story it makes you wish you could go back to your high school reunion and meet your old boyfriend and refall in love with him. This is a delightful book and it does make you feel happy. Enjoy 😊
