5 Stars to Trouble Maker (Prequel to Caveman - coming May 29) by Jo Raven.
Hailey and Kaden.....
In case you are wondering....Trouble Maker was previously released in the anthology We Wish You A Naughty Christmas and was previously titled Exposed.
Jo Raven has never written a book that I didn't absolutely love! Trouble Maker is no exception! But I do have one complaint.....I wanted it to be longer!
Kaden's story broke my heart as all of Jo Raven's heroes do. I thought Kaden was a perfect hero. He was protective, loyal and attentive. He was sweet too. I will add he was so sexy and sinful. The problem Kaden was dealing with was that a rumor started by an ex-girlfriend make him the topic of of the town. It was not anything good being said. People believed the rumors and thought him to be...well I don't want to say what. This story is so short and I don't want to ruin any of it for you.
Kaden not only had a bad reputation from the accusations made against his character, but some personal troubles as a result. I felt awful for how he was treated. For how alone he was and felt.
Hailey is new in town and doesn't know anything about Kaden when she eyes him for the first time across a bar. And even when she hears the rumors, she can't stay away.
Kaden and Hailey had chemistry from their first moment locking eyes. Although she was attracted to Kaden, there was some worry and mistrust on Hailey's part. But once she decided she wanted to be with Kaden, and despite a dew bumps in the road, they fell for each other quickly.
This story may have been short but it has all the 'feels.'
I wanted more!

This prequel was free with Undone and well, it had too much instalove, IMHO, and both this one and Undone had a few editing mistakes I found distracting. So, all in all I'm glad it was "free"

A short and sexy read from Jo Raven.
If you’re looking for a shirt second chance romance with sexiness, this is one for you.
I didn’t manage to connect to the story as much as I had hoped, I found myself skimming through parts of the story but the storyline intrigued me, I like the thought of BDSM, would have liked it to have happened in part of this book but that was ok, the sex parts were fun to read. This was my first read from this author and I’ll definitely give this authors books a read.

You get to meet Hailey & Kaden in this one and see how they met. I love how they met and started to "date". You found out why he was shunned by the town and also by his family. It was just heart breaking. I get why he was upset when she pried into his life, but as a woman just meeting a man with very questionable accusations against him....damn straight she better take matters into her own hands and find things out for her own safety. I very much enjoyed that aspect of the book.

This is a sexy novella that introduces you to Hailey and Kaden. And believe me, you really want to meet Kaden! I read this after reading the newly released Undone (Hailey and Kaden's book) so it gave some of their back story, which I loved.

Kaden and Hailey's introduction is the perfect little teaser to get you pumped for the full lengthen featured sure to come. Hailey is looking totaled walk on the wild side now that she kicked her philandering ex to the curb. She needs to believe that it wasn't her that caused the relationship to fail but his inability to not be a colossal jerk. So when the towns residence bad boy walks int the bar she is willing to see where he take her. Kaden is trying to escape from lies that have been plaguing him since a glitched ex didn't want to keep bedroom likes on the DL once they called it a ballgame. The town and friends and even his family has shunned him for these unfounded accusations and he has no way to combat it. When Hailey struts in looking for a bit of fun he figures it'll be a nice way to blow off some steam. They soon realize that their mural desire so one night of recreation isnt really enough for either of them and they start to heal the damages caused by past. But remember this is just the prequel so expect to get the cliffhanger to keep you pining for the HEA to come!

This book is the prequel to Undone and also links to caveman but can be read as a standalone.
Both books Trouble maker & Undone are short reads and could of been made into one in my opinion.
Hailey has run from her cheating ex, gone to a new town and meets kaden in a bar. The man marked as a trouble maker with a reputation and gossiping rumors in his wake but Hailey doesn't want to believe the rumors or warnings and lets the attraction and fate guide her.
Trouble maker is told in dual pov's and gives you the first meet of kaden and Hailey and how they fell hard and fast, there's a few hot moments and it's enough to entice you into reading more and going onto Undone.

Hailey moved to another city to forget about ex-boyfriend trouble. She decided to go to the bar to have some fun. Unfortunately she meets Mr. Asshole on her way, but is quickly rescued by a guy everyone warn her about - Kaden.
Kaden is Trouble. With a capital T! His last girlfriend accused him of being too rough with her and he’s been on everyone’s tongue since than. Because of that he’s alone and has trust issues.
This story was short, sweet and sexy! I love Kaden and Hailey. It was a pleasure to meet them.
Plot was fast-paced, but it’s a must in short stories and I enjoyed it. As I said, characters were great and I’d love to read more about them.

This is a great way to get to know how Kaden & Hailey got to where they are in Undone. I loved getting to know how their story started. We really get to understand the dynamics of how their relationship happened to be and the things they had to overcome to get where they are. I loved this peek at the start of them.
This really shows us how much of a protector Kaden is & how much Hailey really grows to need him. Short but epic!!

Trouble Maker tells the story of Matt´s wife Emma, her brother Kaden and thier life as children.
Trouble Maker is a well written read and I greatly enjoyed to learn more about the characters and their life.
I recommend this story and give 5 Stars. Thank you Jo Raven !

Oh don't you just love Kaden and Hailey.
This prequel to Caveman is just perfect. Kaden is a handsome, decent human being but after an ex girl starts horrible rumours about him, it affects everything. Friendships, family etc. Hailey had a cheating ex and just wants some fun in her life. Meeting Kaden will give her that and so much more. The only problem is, because it is so good I wanted the story to be longer. Fantastic read though. Loved it.

This is a lovely novella where we meet kaden and Hailey, they've both had relationship problems and neither of them trust the opposite sex, it's lovely to read how the put one another back together and watch their trust and love grow.

A nice background to the main story. It gives us a prospective of how powerful their story.
I didn't particularly like this book, but as a stepping stone, it is OK, and needed.
Sometimes when authors decide to be generous and provide such info esp in a series it is very helpful, other times just page filler, this one falls in between.

Trouble is a great novella. The story was good, and I really like Hailey and Kaden.
