Tabitha is a simple country girl in a simple country town—or so she tries to make everyone believe. But when a boy with a quiet confidence and appealing edge shows up in town looking to collect beautiful images, it's Tabitha he ends up most drawn to.
Life is never simple, and the complications aren't only on her side. There are mysteries to be solved, and Tabitha fears all of her questions will lead only to bad news.
Irene Wendy Wode is a relatively human person living on the outskirts of Philadelphia who spends the vast majority of xir time on the internet or writing. Xe is nonbinary and autistic, with special interest in words, stories and fantasy worlds, and the messages they can communicate.
Tabitha was a beautifully written romance. I loved Ben and Tabitha--their dynamic was truly gorgeous. Wode has captured the close-knit small town feeling perfectly without dwelling on the prejudices found there. Irene Wode has earned a steadfast fan in me! I can't wait for the next Sunflower book!!
