One of the most affirming and encouraging devotional books on listening and acting on God's voice. It's very relational as Lana communicates her journey in better hearing God's voice. I have been trying to act on her words and example. It's overflowing with goodness and grace. A re-read is due every now and again. I'm excited to see where this will take me. Thankful I found this book! Every blessing for Lana's ministry to touch others in better hearing and knowing God's intimate promptings.

A real word for me!
Lana seems to write from her heart. These are not just “pearls of wisdom,” though there certainly are more than a few of those here. The pages are full of practical counsel, well delivered and heartfelt. I’m better for reading it, and you will be too.

I am someone who unexpectedly found Lana a few years ago and have been really encouraged by her walk with God. She challenges me in my faith and drives me nearer to God’s word. I would highly recommend this book to those who are longing for a deeper relationship with God. I’ve already sent a copy of this book to a friend who was feeling challenged to listen for God’s voice more in their daily life. This book not only gives practical ways to do that but also lays out a humble servant leader approach of what we should we be doing as children of God.

This is one of my favorite books that I have ever read, regardless of genre! Lana has such a fun, personable voice as an author. Her insights are so deep into the heart of God, they had me underlining and pausing to just sit and ponder the power and presence of God right there. Her vulnerability with her story and chapter about how God uses times of process greatly encouraged me. I have an increased hunger for God and joy and expectancy in my walk with Him!

Lana Vawser started her ministry training in of all places, a coffee shop. Asking God to give the customers she waited on an encouraging word, she would ultimately fear their initial reaction. But after several goings at it, she learned to trust God and give prophetic words of encouragement to many of those customers.
Then, Lana would go as a customer herself. Grabbing her cup of joe, she would sit in the cafe for hours praying and writing. These “dates with Jesus” over coffee, were some of the most memorable times with the Lord she had.
Now, Lana has a prophetic ministry of her own. A ministry that focuses on sharing prophetic words, insights, revelations, and of course, encouragement.
After several past attempts to finish this book, I have been graced with finally doing so. It wasn’t a hard read. In fact, I was greatly impressed with it. But time and again, I would stop at the same chapter, something I needed to learn myself, before continuing.
Most believe prayer is about talking to God. But for the Word of Faith and Charismatic movements, prayer is a two-way conversation. God can talk to us through the Bible, through nature, music, basically anything that grabs ahold of us to reveal His truth and love. If something is repeated to us over and over again, keeps coming to us in various ways, it just may be God!

Overall, I thought this was a good book. I hesitated though on if I would share about this book and what I thought of it for a few reasons. First, I think learning communion with the Holy Spirit and hearing his voice is an often misunderstood thing. I think this book gives good information on it, but her book is largely her experience with objective truth mixed throughout. Because it is mostly her experience, it could be confusing for someone just starting out in this area even though her experiences are in line with the Bible. For someone just starting out, I would recommend a few different books to read first. Next, I felt like this book really used the language of the charismatic movement instead of language of every day people; in other words, seemed to have a lot of “Christianese” that could be confusing to people who didn’t grow up in the church world. Again, because of that, for someone not familiar with this way of speaking, I’d probably start with a different book about hearing God’s voice if it’s new to you.
BUT the topic is definitely worth study and learning if you follow Jesus and have the Holy Spirit in you. Hearing God’s voice is important!
Overall, I enjoyed the book, found it encouraging, and felt it had a lot of good truth.

Lana is such an awesome woman of God. This book and Lana's experiences will truly open your eyes when it comes to the voice of God.
We cannot put God in a box and as we seek Him in all things, we must remember that He is God and is so creative and because He is so creative, He can speak to us through colors, numbers, songs, books, dream, visions, etc...
This book was a wonderful way for me to refresh my view of my relationship with God.
I look forward to reading it a 2nd time!

I enjoyed this book very much. Lana Vawser has a beautiful heart, a humble spirit, and a hunger for intimacy with God which is contagious.
I gained some new ideas for how to grow in knowing the Lord better and hearing Him more clearly. I was also encouraged by suggestions she shared which I was already implementing.
I highly recommend this book for every person who wants to go deeper in his or her relationship with Jesus.

Come Holy Spirit come
I can't say enough good things about this book! 🔥 🔥 🔥
I don't want a relationship with Jesus like Lana's, but what I do want is to have an intamate relationship with Jesus. And her story encourages me to go deeper then ever before. My journey, my hunger, it won't look like Lanas but it can still have the same outcome. Knowing how to heart the voice of the Lord for myself in ways I could never imagine.

Wow!
Lana has shared the heart of God in this book. I read it so quickly. As I turned each page - I wanted more of HIM. Yet it's a book where you could just linger and hang out in each chapter. I have bought several copies and shared it with my friends. There's been an awakening in my soul and I am grateful for this book.

One of the best books I will ever have the honour of reading. My faith and relationship with God will be exponentially greater on the back of this expansive and enhancing read. Thank you LV for your prophetic insight but more than anything, example of a supernatural life in complete love and alignment with Jesus

The book is practical and encouraging. It is punctuated with real life experiences that reveals that the author knows what she talks (about) and talks what she knows. She has lived the teachings she writes here. This is a great read for new believers as well as mature Christians. It will instill you with a passion and desire to spend more time with God to the end that you hear HIM with more clarity.

Excellent book, by far one of the greatest book I've ever read. Lana helped me see and understand that there are many ways which God uses to speak to us and that each of His ways is unique to us. This book will deepen your relationship with our Lord savior Jesus and help you understand His ways in your own life.

Truly couldn’t have needed this more right now. Such a deep reminder that God’s word is active even now, and people genuinely do hear crazy, beautiful, and specific things from God. It’s not for the “spiritually elite” but it is for those humble and awake enough to listen beyond just what makes them comfortable.

Read this if you are hungry for more with the Lord. It's not a preachy how-to book. It's what happened as Lana became conversational with Him. I was challenged and thrilled.

Fantastic Book!
One of the best books I have ever read! This text awakened me even the more and increased my thirst for the Lord. Increased my desire to go deeper in Him, Seek Him more, Yearn to have those intimate moments with Him and Hear His Heart! Thank you Lana!

A great challenge

Super encouraging book. She invites you in to a powerful place of hearing the divine voice of God. I have always wanted to tap into this, and now I feel like I can.
