When zombie research scientist Doctor Wendy O’Farrell is abducted by fanatics who live deep within the Quarantine Zone, she must struggle to protect the recently cured daughter of a powerful Senator while being forced to deliver a curative to the infected friends and family of her mad captors.
Better Hero Army is the (really cool) pen name of American author Evan Ramspott. Under the Better Hero Army name, Evan writes about zombies, gargoyles, fairies, aliens, and pretty much anything that doesn't belong in the mainstream (i.e., he writes about cool stuff under the BHA name). He has a really cool website at www.betterheroarmy.com, he's sometimes active on Twitter @BetterHeroArmy, and he's in a bunch of cool GoodReads groups.
Evan's other (not so cool) works of fiction are mainstream stories about social inequities and hardships (and are real downers by comparison).
When Evan isn't being a (cool) writer, he has a family and a day job and enjoys all three equally. Oh, and he likes the beach because it's also cool.
Love the writing and the stories and the series in whole. This one just didn’t do it for me. I didn’t care about the plot of it, or what would happen. All the main characters I love are missing from this, and those left aren’t developed enough yet for me to care too much. Still moving on to the next installment, though.
There are so many unanswered questions at this point. Not only are the human factions in this story wildly suspicious, but now even the infected 'zombies' are up to never-seen-before nonsense. WHAT IS GOING ON?!
It has been a long time coming, but it is finally time get into the last book of this series. Hopefully, the action keeps up and there is a satisfying conclusion to this story.
