A brilliant series for 7+ readers full of adventure, magic and friendship from Paula Harrison, author of the Rescue Princesses and Kitty and the Moonlight Rescue series.

Grace loves living in the tropical village of Cala Sands. It has a gorgeous beach and the sun always shines. She especially likes to swim with the magical sea ponies that live in the warm, clear waters around the bay. Grace wishes more than anything that she could talk to the ponies - especially the pretty pony with the sparkling eyes and rainbow tail! When Sophy and Maya arrive and tell Grace that magical creatures all over the kingdom are in terrible danger, Grace knows she has to protect the precious sea ponies. Cruel Lady Cavendish is sailing out into the ocean to catch them in a huge net, so Grace, Maya and Sophy stow away on her ship. But will their rescue plan work? And will Grace ever get her magical speaking stone and be able to speak to her favourite sea pony?

Beautifully illustrated throughout by Sophy Williams, this is the perfect book for young readers who love magic and animals!

Don't miss the other titles in this The Sky Unicorn, The Star Wolf, The Baby Firebird and more!

Sadly this is the last one for the Secret Rescuers. It was great.

I would rather read the story of how the UK and US publishers managed to accidentally rename one of the characters, and why (I think) the series was published in a different order.

New magical creature!

Not sure if I ever heard of a magical "sea pony", but loved the description and unique magic these creatures had. Their sea life and islands were beautiful to read about and loved how resourceful the girls were in their rescue of them 😄
The new girl was helpful even without a magical speaking stone! Such a fun adventure. Not sure if there will be more books but I would read them all if there were 😺

I thought this book was good, but they did mix up the name of a character from a previous book in the series. Her name used to be Ava and they changed it to Maya in this book. I really like the lighthouse setting. It seems very mystical and cozy. It's really well written and has beautiful illustrations of sea ponies that makes it seem like it's real!

When Grace finds out the Sea Ponies are in danger, she wishes she can have a necklace of her own to talk to her favorite Sea Pony. This book was adventurous, exciting, and courageous. I hope you enjoy it!

My granddaughter aged 8 read this and rated it 5 stars, although she thought it was short.

I thought that this book was awesome. I think that Grace really did deserve a speaking stone. Maybe the speaking stone didn't think that she had done enough at the beginning and then, later, it thought that she had really saved the sea ponies. However, I think that the sea ponies were too nice to save the Lady and her men. My faviroute charcter is the sea ponies because they are so peaceful and quiet and gentle. I reccomend this book to everyone as it is awesome and amazing!
