This vignette of a book is a literary mash up of the players in the créche / Nativity and the Young Women's values.

It is well suited for a presentation or performance if you're looking for a different narration than that found in the Gospel of Luke, but each section is also the perfect length for a series of devotionals or discussions at Christmas time.

My young children have managed to be engaged when I've read it to them, but it might be a stretch with some young children.

The artwork is gorgeous and I dream of mounting it on woodblocks for an actual Nativity.

Even though the Young Women's values are being retired at the end of this year, the book reserves its spot in my Christmas book collection.
