I felt they got together and then THE END. Could have lasted a bit longer.

2,5 ⭐, le doy solo media más que el anterior porque me pareció muy tierno eso de que se conozcan de chicos. Fuera de joda el problema con estos libros es que son muy cortos. Si la autora desarrollará más las historias serían más buenas y tendrían más sentido. Tiene el mismo cliché que el anterior de el que nos viven diciendo que es un mujeriego pero coje una vez con la protagonista y cambio y se quiere casar masomenos. O recicla también la trama de que porque ellos cojen ella está por quedarse sin trabajo, la mina siempre tiene unas tetas enormes y un culo perfecto y el obvio no se puede quedar atrás y tiene una pija de 25 cm?!?!? Es muy fantasiosa la mina si se piensa que a algún tipo le mide lo que me mide a mi EL ANTEBRAZO. Ya hasta me da pereza leerlos porque es como que ni siquiera me da satisfacción de como se crea la tensión.

He is the cardiologist with the mostest....he has the looks, the women fall all over him, he definitely doesn't want in that department, he has money and a possible show all his own....yet Cole just met the one person who changed his life before and will be doing it again, only he doesn't realize it yet. That's right, Cole didn't realize that his contract negotiations and meeting with the new Executive Producer of the channel he is currently on would be the one woman who he shared his firsts with, and again will.
She just left her cheating husband, she knew he was cheating all along, but now she just had had enough. Good thing the call from her mentor and friend came in. He needed her to be Executive Producer of his channel, and she was right there to take on that challenge. Lucy really has no clue who this Cole person is, but she is the one who is supposed to help him decide to stay and renew his contract. Little did Lucy know she was about to meet with her past and her future all wrapped up into one that day.
Lucy is talking with her boss (Ed) when Cole walks in. She knows she has seen this man somewhere before but where, and then Cole reminds her. He recognizes her instantly, and in that instant all the feelings rush forward, for both of them. Cole is a bit, ok a lot, of a playboy, Lucy is an ex-wife but happier than ever before. These feelings turn into sparks right away. There is no denying that feeling is mutual.
Two weeks of her staying with Cole at his place and igniting the flames, and she is just given a bit of news from her boss of Cole signing with the other network. Cole is waiting at his place to tell Lucy all about it, and even is going to ask her to be EP. She is livid and he doesn't get it. Trust was not a strong point in her marriage and now she feels as if Cole has broken the only trust she has by doing this. On top of that someone in the network she is currently working at says something to her boss along the lines of him knowing that the last two weeks these two have been going at it like rabbits. This does not bode well for her career. Now she is frantic and very angry. Cole let's her go, he does try to talk and reason with her, but she walks. He doesn't call, and doesn't call.
Now, a couple of months later, she gets a call from an executive at the network Cole is working for asking her to interview her (at Cole's wishes) for this position. She accepts the interview, but doesn't see Cole. She goes through the whole process, and weeks later hasn't heard anything. Oh well, maybe this is for the better. She sees Cole on many different syndicates looking happy, and she really is happy for him, sad though that she no longer has a place with him. That is when flowers arrive, and a very handsome delivery man stands behind them. You guessed it, that would be none other than Cole. He comes to apologize (even though he is unsure why) and ask her a very important question. The only spoiler I will throw is that it is not a proposal.
They do have a happy ending though and how they went from teenagers, to separate adults, to the adults they are together is a fantastic trip, one well worth everything that happens.

It's a short story, easy to read. I loved it.

Dr. Colton Walker is not only famous for his successful as cardiologist or his life as Playboy, but is also famous thanks the TV. He works at Mercy Hospital and also he has a small two-minute section on a television, but he wants more. Much more.
Lucy Rhores leaves everything. Her husband is a cheater, and she knew it, but when Lucy saw her husband with the next door woman neighbor in her couch... she knows what must to do. So she starts to live again. A new life, a new work in another tv station and... An old love?
Twenty years later, Lucy and Calvin (Colton) meet again, after leaving their relationship for distance, they give themselves a second chance, but everything will not be easy. Lucy is tired of the men cheating on her and Calvin will do something that, perhaps, she can’t forgive.

Filthy, filthy and filthy!
I loved the book. I voluntarily read an advanced readers copy of this book.
Lucy and Calvin met in high school their junior year. The two nerds just clicked and began doing everything together. Lucy was the one who initiated the sex between the two but Calvin wasn't going to complain. They were each other's first but being a military brat their time came to an end when his dad relocated them again. Fast forward 18 years later, Lucy divorces her cheating husband, lands a job in New York and is introduced to her old high school sweetheart. Dr. Cole Walker is a renowned cardiologist and is married to his job. He gets his rocks off but they know the rules. When he walks into the office at WNN and sees Lucinda Rhodes, he's stunned because it's the one and only woman he's ever loved....Lucy.
Now no one knows him by Calvin but Lucy recognizes him. They have a rekindling but of course there's drama.
A great book to read and panty melting sex scenes.

Filthy Doctor is another fabulous story by Amy Brent. I absolutely loved this book! Amy balanced an amazingly filthy doctor with a second chance romance. The characters and their story is amazing. Calvin and Lucy were high school sweethearts that were separated when Calvin's dad was restationed in California. Though they tried to keep in contact the distance slowly tore them apart. Fast forward almost twenty years later and Calvin(now Cole) is the top cardiologist and most eligible bachelor in New York City. Lucy comes to New York for a new job and her first day she meets Cole again. Sparks fly when they see each other again and the chemistry between them is explosive. I love the interaction between their characters. Cole and Lucy were each other's first love but will they be each other's last? To find out Get Filthy Doctor as soon as you can! Filthy Doctor is full of twists and turns, drama, explosive chemistry and hot sex scenes. It is a awesome filthy yet sweet read. I highly recommend you get it today. Had to privilege of reading and ARC copy of Filthy Doctor by Amy Brent. Great second chance romance. Lucy and Calvin were high school sweetheart but lost touch after Calvin's family relocated for the Army again. Lucy went to college for broadcasting and met her husband who she finally left after years of his cheating. She moves to New York for a new job and ends up working with Dr. Cole Walker for her new broadcasting job. Dr. Walker is a cardiologist who is drop dead gorgeous. The tv audience loves him, but he loves himself even more. He is one of the best cardiologists and works hard to save people's lives.
Finding he is liking being a tv star and make even more money than he was as a surgeon. He walks into his Friday on screen job to meet the new director Lucinda Rhoades and they both find out they were old friends. While reconnecting Lucy and Cole find they both still have feelings for each other and with all of their lifes ups and downs they find their way to make it work and live HEA.

The introduction of Filthy Doctor totally captivated my attention.
The Love Scenes were all Electrifying.
Dr. Cole Walker is a World-Renowned Cardiologist Aka A Heart Doctor.
He has also been voted for 5 years in a row NYC'S Most Eligible Bachelor.
He is also a tv star, but hes a doctor first and tv star second. He does a medical segment at WCIL.
His real name is Calvin Colton Walker (before he changed it)
Lucinda (Lucy) (Walsh was her maiden name) Rhodes is the new Executive Producer for the nightly news at WCIL.
She worked for 10 years as a news producer in Milwaukee & Chicago.
Both Cole & Lucy are from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
They were High school Sweethearts.
He is an army brat and left their high school during their Junior year.
They rekindle their love for one another the night they met, 17 years after seeing each other last.

***I voluntarily read this ARC to give an honest review***Dr. Cole Walker was an egotistical arse. He thought of himself as a god. He was a cardiac surgeon and believed he had the power of life and death. He dated actresses, heiresses, and models. But he screwed the nurses. He would never be caught outside the hospital with a nurse, nor would he marry one. He had been given the opportunity to appear on TV giving answers to questions from viewers. He was so handsome that his ratings were in the stratosphere. Lucy Rhodes had caught her husband for the last time with another woman in their bed. She moved on and was offered a job by her mentor to be the producer of the news on WNN and on Dr. Walker's session. Turns out that Lucy Rhodes was, Lucy Walsh the former high school sweetheart of Calvin Colton Walker, Dr. Cole Walker! when they met up, it was as if time had stood still. Will there be a conflict of interest? Read the book! lol

Lucy and Calvin met their junior year in high school when Calvin moved into town. It was nerd love at first sight, but they didn't know it until they kept spending time together and Lucy wanted to explore all of the sensations Calvin made her body crave. Calvin had to move so they stopped seeing each other. Once in college, Lucy met a boy who she lusted after and thought was a good choice, but his ways made her distrust men and eventually leave him in the dust. After the divorce, Lucy moved to New York to work for her mentor, once there she was able to reconnect with Calvin as he was a star on the evening news she produced. But can Calvin "Dr. Cole Walker" and Lucy have a second chance in life? Or will life get in their way of happiness?

Cole is a world class heart surgeon who also does a Q&A spot for 2 minutes once a week on TV who goes from screwing every and any girl to just one overnight. Lucy is finally rid of her cheating, lying husband and moves to New York for a new job.
To find your first love again after almost 20 and then to realize you both still love each other is awesome. But then he doesn't tell you about his new contract for a TV syndicate show and could cost you your job because everyone thinks that you did know and didn't say anything.
Will Cole be able to suck it up and apologize and if he does will Lucy be able to forgive him? What happens when Cole has to move to LA permanently for the TV show?

He was Army Brat and nerd Calvin Cole Walker when he met his best friend almost 20 years ago, they were also each others first. What they never imagined was meeting each other after all that time, Lucy cannot believe her eyes. Gone is the lanky, nerdy boy, enter Dr. Cole Walker the sexiest hottest man she has laid her eyes on. Will they pick up where they left off with a little more head in the game, or will Cole still want to sow his oats, after all it's not the back of his dad's car.
Very entertaining story without being too hardcore.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. I think this is my favorite so far of the "Filthy" books Amy Brent has put out to this point. I loved how the story of Cole and Lucy was not only a bad boy alpha type of book but also a book about rekindled love. The two were high school sweethearts who met when Cole came to Milwaukee because his dad was in the service and recently positioned there. The two were kind of nerds back then who bonded over math and science and became friends. From there they became more involved. Cole moved away with his father being transferred again. The two meet up almost 20 years later and that is where the connection and spark is still there. This was a great read with a great HEA. I strongly recommend this book!

Once I started reading this book, I could not put it down! Filthy Doctor was the first book I've read by Amy and it certainly won't be the last.
I was hooked! Dr. Cole Walker pulled me in from the start, and I was never disappointed by him. His charm was so sexy and alluring. I couldn't wait to imagine what he'd be like! Lucy was just as charming. I loved her nerdiness. Being a book nerd myself, I could relate to her high school awkwardness. She grew up fierce and grew into herself.
This book is filled with filthy words and a doctor to make you swoon. I don't read many books about doctors... But they're definitely going on my list now!!!

I loved this book and read an advanced copy of the book.
When Lucy takes a new job in New York she never thought she would see her high school love Calvin Walker walk into the tv station she worked in. The moment they meet it's like the last 18 years haven't happened and they arrange to meet up and catch up with what each other have been up to.
When Dr Walker goes to ye tv station for his meet he never imagined seeing his high school love Lucy, she was the only woman he has ever loved and she stirs those feels in him again and calms him. When they start where they left off hot and heavy talking dirty and having hours of sex but then Calvin does something she doesn't try no they can come back from. Will they get over this can she forgive him?

Cole/Calvin is a superstar, is a renown cardiologist, TV Star with the good looks an charisma to match. He is looking to get a syndicated show but when he is introduced to his new executive producer Lucy he realizes that she is the only woman he loved and his first. Lucy on the other hand comes from Chicago after a nasty divorce from her cheating husband and looks at this job as a new beginning and make it to the majors! The she meets Dr.Cole and she realizes that it is Calvin, her first and the guy who broke her heart. Can they rekindle what they had? Will he break her heart again?
So many questions come to mind. You have to buy the book to learn all the answers. It is a GREAT SHORT READ.

Cole a Cardiologist, playboy doesn't do dates only hookups and no strings just sex. Lucy, divorced, gets a job offer to be an Executive Producer of Cole's TV show. Cole and Lucy were high school sweethearts reunited years later. Can Cole and Lucy rekindle their romance years later? Will they get their HEA? I have to say second chance romance is one of my favorite genres and this story is definitely one of my favorites. I love Cole and Lucy together. Their chemistry was sizzling hot and the sex.. Wow! This is a well written steamy quick read and I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good short read. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

I liked this story but I feel like the ending was rushed and a little flat. Lucy and Cole definitely had chemistry but their issues towards the end of the story were resolved way too quickly. We weren't even there when they professed their love for the first time, just told about it after the fact. I would have loved it if the story were more rounded out. I think Amy Brent has a lot of talent and some of her stories are really great. I loved Filthy Coach and really enjoyed Filthy Professor. Filthy Doctor didn't live up to it's potential which is why I can only give it 3.5 stars.

Too short of a story. I've wanted more for it being called filthy doctor but didn't seem even dirty.
They were high school nerd sweethearts torn apart by his army dad moving. They had their lives. Her married to a cheating fool and a executive producer for news shows in Chicago. Lucy gets a new job in NYC from an old boss and the shows guest doctor is her long lost first of everything boyfriend. Jump into bed the same night. Fight with something she can't stand and he waited to reveal to be separated for 2 months. Not enough for me and the few sex scenes was a repeat of the first time he comes into play in this story when he wants to screw his nurse, her words and Lucy's are the same.

Para leer esta saga de libros hay que ir con cero expectativas, debido a que, no son taaaan complejos en su trama.
Filthy Doctor" me ha gustado mas que su antecesor. Me gustó el desarrollo de historia pese a tener una trama sencilla y que por ser tan corto, es muy rápido para leer. Sin embargo, esto último, conlleva a que no me logrará emcariñar con los personajes. Ahora, hablando de los protagonistas aquí el romance entre Clole y Lucy no se ven tan apresurado y al leerlo sabrán el motivo.
Seguiré con los demás a ver que tal estan y me tendrán por aquí haciéndoles sus respectivas reseñas.

This is one hot Doc....wealthy, charming and full of himself and he will melt your socks (hehe) off. Rekindling his sexual intimacy with the Executive Producer of his weekly show is not only dangerous for Lucy's career but she has already had a jerk...why add another??? But the chemistry is too hot to resist and...well this is an excellent book to read while lying in the hot sun because you can always blame the sweat on the heat and it holds every minute of your attention and a twist or two to surprise you. I loved it...I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

I loved every minute of this book. I really couldn't put it down, just mark it up to another major win by Amy Brent!
Cole is an arrogant, cocky s.o.b., but when he sees Lucy for the first time aft r so many years, you could see the instant change in him. Unfortunately, being as famous as he is, there's always someone telling him what to do and he has to follow the rules, even if it ends up breaking her heart.

They were high school sweethearts for almost a year before he had to move once again. They never thought they would see each other again until she accepts a job in a new city. The chemistry between them is instantaneous, so of course Lucy accepts Cole's dinner date. They then can't keep their hands off of each other. One contract negotiation changes all that and he moves. I absolutely love all of Amy Brent's books. The characters are so smutty, share so much love, and are really in tune with their feelings. I voluntarily read an Advanced Review Copy of this book.

This was a fantastic second chance book with your hopes being held high cheering them on.Dr Walker is a wominizer,can get any woman he wants by just one look but when he meets his old flame from back in the day Lucy its explosive.
Lots of misunderstandings that threaten the relationship and a whole lot of heat,can they make it work being so stong headed and will Lucy be able to tame the sexy Dr.
Loved both Characters,strong and determined and the writing was great.

I really couldn’t get into this book. I will admit that it took me a while to read this book, as I couldn’t get into it. I wasn’t a fan of the hero and didn’t feel much of a spark between him and the heroine. I think I didn’t like the hero because he liked himself too much. He thought he was gods gift. The hero made it known he had slept with models and actresses. He made it known that he could get any woman he wanted. Because of that I didn’t feel the spark between him and the heroine. She could have been anyone in my opinion; the only reason they worked was because of their history.

I really wanted to love this book. I usually do love Amy's books, but this one was not up to par. Even though these two (Lucy and Cole) were high school sweethearts, I did not feel the love between these two. It felt more like a pinpoint of history. Like step one, step two. Very weird.
Then when you get out of the history and you step into the new and now love it still felt like a military precision book. I felt no emotion in this book.

I reviewed this book as part of an arc program. I loved this book about a second chance love. Cole is a famous heart surgeon and has a segment on the news. He has been an eligible playboy for a number of years and has no plans on settling down. Lucy is a producer who just started at the station where Cole has his segment. When Cole goes to the station for contract negotiations, he meets Lucy, only to find they were high school sweethearts. I liked how the story of their youth was told with their story now when they reconnected. They had great chemistry and the sex was so hot. Great book!
