Rebels' World
Stellar Patrol Colonel Brian Dowling is assigned to assist in the evacuation of a severely oppressed population from their original place on Terra and to accompany them to their new homeworld.
A heavily armed private army determined to annihilate the emigrants sweeps down on the spaceport. Decent adventure, even better-than-decent in some respects, particularly the fight to get the colonists all loaded into the last transports on Earth and the fight on-planet.

I liked this novel very much
I highly recommend this book. The characters were interesting. I particularly appreciated the addition of the animals. The ending felt a little rushed but didn't detract from the overall novel.

Wow, this throws back to classic SF! A good story, fast-paced with kickin' action, and in-depth world-building, but without sacrificing the personal story. You really care about the people you're introduced to.
