Skylar Cummings never dreamed time travel was possible until she finds herself in a room with a gorgeous but calloused cowboy from the Wild Wild West. Researching paranormal activity in Tombstone, Arizona, Sky assumed she was witnessing a ghost, but she’d stumbled through a portal to the past.
Jesse Clarke is a nineteenth century cowboy who’s renounced love after a devastating heartbreak. Women only desire his money, so he’s better-off without them … until a mysterious woman materializes in his room.
After a string of disastrous events, Skylar creates dangerous enemies and discovers herself detained. Jesse is summoned to escort her out of town before a lynch mob develops, but an unquestionable chemistry is growing between them. Will Jesse help her attempt to return to the twenty-first century, or can he convince the feisty woman to build a new future with him?

“If you like adventure, time travel, and western romance, Tombstone Ghost Cowboy is an entertaining and enjoyable romance that will leave you wishing you could time travel to find a cowboy of your own!”

1881-1889, Bird Cage theater tour. Tombstone, AZ. It had closed down long ago.
The bizarre humans one could see or encounter. Notorious criminals male/female or famous law enforcement had existed.
Skylar “Sky” Cummings (narrator) has no idea how she got back to this time-frame.
Madam Rosie wants the Marshall to arrest Sky for trespassing in her brothel.
Jesse (Kate’s son) came to the jail the next day to get her.
He takes her to meet his family/friends: Katherine “Kate” (Jesse’s ma), Tucker, Johnny Boy, Danny “Daniel”, Griggs, & Kris.
Later she gets pneumonia & Marissa takes care of her.
Fast forward, what happened in Heaven’s Cove?

A very awesome book cover, & great font/writing style. A very well written Wild Wild West paranormal book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great Wild Wild West paranormal movie, or better yet a mini TV series. It was just OK for me so I will only rate it at 3/5 stars.

I had to abandon this book. I didn't like that it was in first person and second it was such a badly written story I just couldn't go on. Sorry this was not good.

Wow!!

I totally loved this book. It has everything in it, a bit of comedy, romance, suspense. Jesse and Skylar are beautiful characters in a beautifully written story. I've always wanted to go to Tombstone and I really, really want to now. This is a good one for young and old to read. In my opinion it deserves more stars and I can hardly wait for the next ones in the series. Great job!!

Was it an adventure or a misadventure? Or both? Who cares? They found love in Tombstone of the 1880s. And even better - a twist ending that I never saw coming!

The version I read lacked the name Jesse in the title being an advanced copy and admitedly in need of further editing. The narrator, Skylar, is at pains to describe in detail her cowboy's wide shoulders, bulging biceps, broad chest, slim hips, rock hard thighs, and the massive bulge at his crotch.

If you've been to Cheyenne you know the pioneer village stages a high noon style shoot out on a daily basis. Riders on the steam train from Cedar Park to Burnet, Texas are met by two gun toting desperados at the station. Having seen the beautiful glass sided horse drawn hearse in the Trail Museum in Cody, WY I can believe the Black Moriah in Tombstone to be worth $2 million.

The heroine in our story is touring the Bird Cage Theatre looking for ghosts of the past as she stares through the peep hole in the door to a room reserved for assignations during breaks in the nearby poker game when suddenly she comes face to face with a very hot looking shirtless stud looking for some action. He gets called back to his game before she loses her virginity. So begins our time travel visit to Tombstone, home of the OK Coral, Wyatt Erp, and the tubercular Doc Holliday.

The story requires that you buy into the concept of time travel. When Sky becomes delerious with fever the point of view changes to Jesse, her Ghost Cowboy rescuer. The cast of characters includes Tucker, Jesse's brother and town Marshall, Kate, their Ma and Marissa their sister plus Danny the ranch foreman who is sweet on Ma and a bit of a thorn in Jesse's side. Add the ranch hands and the Cowboy Gang who threaten their safety. Somehow the author could have come up with a more original name for the gang.

The Jesse who cares for Sky on his Ma's ranch is a far different animal from the drunken gambler who takes her for a soiled dove at the Cage. We do learn that his winnings helped finance the ranch. When it comes to the "Clarke boys expressing brotherly love" with bare knuckles it strikes me that two powerful young men could do one another real harm, one hopes they take off their guns first. I also hope that in the revised verstion the horse is hitched, not strapped to the wagon.

The point of view changes several more times which can be confusing. The idea of a husband performing a C-Section with a hunting knife sends a few chills.

The story could not hold my attention well enough to overlook the poor editing.

Ruthie L. Manier has done a wonderful bit of writing in this western tale from Tombstone. Time travel adds the interesting twist that Ruthie is known for. Time travel ghost and romance grace these pages that have been well written. I am partial to books and adventures from Tombstone and that fascination first came with the movie with Sam Elliot as a co-star so I pick up most books with that title and give them a try and I was not disappointed. Thank you Ruthie for a great read. Clint Clay
