The Chanel Cavette Story

Rate this book
Must read The Connect's Wife series books 1-5
Coco was the “dopeboy’s girlfriend”, you know the one you’re used to reading about. She had no ambition, morals or standards. She was the typical, loud-mouth, gold-teeth having, blond weave wearing, six inch heels and finger nail swanging woman. Her passion for life and becoming a better person or mother for her child was nonexistent. Coco lived life to the fullest, every single day, seven days a week.
Once her man goes to jail, and the money runs out, the friends she thought she had and his business partners are no longer there. Coco is forced to have an epiphany about life and soon she learns that depending on a man was never cute or acceptable.
Five years later, Chanel formally known in the hood as Coco is climbing her way to the top of the corporate ladder. Her past life is behind her and she is enjoying her new surroundings, friends, and lifestyle.
No, she isn’t wearing Gucci and Prada again but she’s comfortable in her new threads. The first man she ever loved and gave her heart too, has been released from Federal Prison and the only thing on his mind is COCO. Coco no longer exists, and no matter how much Chanel wants to put that life behind her, love has a stronghold on her like she never thought. When he asks her to handle something very important for him and she has to risks her new life in order to complete the mission…Chanel doesn’t know what to do. She soon realizes that she struggled her life for no reason, Chanel goes on a journey to put the pieces of her puzzle together, in doing so she finds out that her name holds weight in the underground world. Chanel goes from the block to the boardroom and back to the block as she seeks revenge and the truth.
Take a wild ride into the corporate life of Chanel Cavett, she was the female you thought you had already knew, but you’re in for a rude awakening.

😩💄📖 “Now who told Nako to drop a whole new character mid-series!?”

Listen… I went into this thinking I was getting a breather after The Connect’s Wife 5. I was wrong. Dead wrong. 💀

Outta nowhere comes Chanel Cavette, aka Coco — and let me tell you right now, she is not built like Farren Knight. I repeat: SHE IS NOT HER SISTER IN SPIRIT. Farren walked through fire, rebuilt herself, and learned. Chanel? She jumped straight into the flames with gasoline in her purse. 😭

This woman was doing everything but healing. From the boardroom to the block, she stayed making questionable choices with a full face of makeup and zero sense of self-preservation. Every time she opened her mouth, I was like:

(╯°□°)╯︵🔥 GIRL, PLEASE!

But you know what? The story was 🔥🔥🔥. The writing? Peak Nako — drama, depth, and dialogue that makes you talk back to your Kindle. Even when I wanted to slap Chanel, I couldn’t stop reading.

So yeah, she’s new, she’s messy, and she’s got a lot to learn… but I’ll give her this: she made her debut unforgettable.

💅🏽 Great side-story. 5 stars for the entertainment value alone.

The Chanel Cavette Story

After hearing very little about Chanel in The Connect’s Wife, I wanted to know more about her. The story started off slow, and there was a few errors. I was glad Chanel didn’t completely go back down the path that she had worked so hard to come up from.

I just can't get enough of NAKO

Chanel is street, but not as smart as Farren. But she and Farren both have that go getter mentality. Q could have never ever stepped to me once I had moved forward. James is a force to be reckon with. Hope to get more on him.

I really enjoyed this book. It had a few surprises. I can't wait to find out who James really is, and more about Nakia. That ending was everything. I am now patiently awaiting The Connects Wife 6.

This book gives insight as to how Chanel Cavette (loud mouth Cocoa) found her sister Farren ( from the Connect’s Wife) and how she met James also. Oh yeah it gives background on the infamous Ms Nakita too.
Good story to read before starting The Connect’s Wife 6. Just know silly me read out of order!

This is a crossover book that relates to the Connect’s Wife series. We meet Chanel, long lost sister of Farren Knight. Chanel doesn’t realize the “royalty” of her blood line. She finds out who she is due to dealing with a baby daddy who grew up a screw up. Let’s see what will happen now that she knows what’s in her DNA

In the Chanel Cavette Story we are introduced to Chanel "Loud Mouth Coco" Cavette who as the title states, knows her way around the boardroom and the block. This was an easy and entertaining read. Nako did an excellent job introducing the new character while including plot twists that intertwined with The Connect's Wife series' storyline. I'm pleased to say this book was written well, with very minimal grammatical errors. I suggest this read to anyone who has read and enjoyed The Connect's Wife series as well as any readers who would enjoy a story of a hood chick who hits rock bottom but comes out on top. I will be moving on to The Connect's Wife 6.

Ok, Nako really....

So why couldn't we just call this book ' The Connects Wife 6.1 ' or something. If the author wanted to introduce a another character I don't think a whole book was necessary. Story was a bit boring, but in order to read the The Connects Wife 6, you will have to read this book $$. Q was a bum and I know somehow he will resurface, James seemed off but it makes sense in the end, and Ms. Nakia I had to read 6 books to figure out what her purpose was in the this whole thing. I guess we'll wait for the next installment.

Not My Favorite

I am very familiar with Dennis Weaver's writing. This does not measure up. Too many grammatical errors. Very weak storyline. After the fifth book in The Connect Wife Series, this is not a believable book. Although I didn't want Farran to die, she should have remained dead a.nd a New storyline built around the children. Chanel is too weak in this story.

This started off slow for me but it picked up (eventually). A lot of what happened in the story didn't seem necessary in my opinion. In the end though, it was definitely worth it and I cannot wait for TCW 6!!!! I was so pissed at the ending of TCW 5 but this book definitely made up for it. Nako is for sure one of my new favorite authors.

This was a very good read. I couldn't put it down. The characters in this book are something else, but that Ms. Nakia ain't no joke.....she is the truth. I loved that suprise ending. I knew Farren couldn't have just die like that in CW5. I'm so feening for The Connect's Wife 6 like a junkie feening for their next hit. Nako you are the bomb.com!

Another BANGER

Nako you outdid yourself. This book was straight FIYAH. Coco is proof that when you find your self worth and you have determination anything is possible. The turn of events in this book had me speechless. CERTIFIED BANGER all the way. I hope Coco gets the answers she needs in the next installment I will be patiently waiting.

Wow.. what a great read. I had a feeling about Farren. That Nakia is something else. I hope in The Connect's Wife 6 more is revealed about who Nakia really is. I was so PISSED that Chanel didn't raise a finger to defend herself with Q, that bottom feeder. I cannot wait until the next books are released. HURRY UP NAKO!!!

The Chanel Cavette Story: From The Boardroom To The Block

I'm not to sure what I just read. I'm not too sure who wrote this and why?! There was no backstory on Chanel or Q, so the other characters that were mentioned made no sense in this pointless story.

Please, no more ghost writers giving your readers 2** novellas...not good.

I was so disappointed that Chanel allowed Q to abuse her. I was hoping for her to drop him where he stood after the house was tore up when Maddy was there. Great book, excited for CW6.
