It is very inspiring in the tradtion of Christian/Judiasm traditions. Referred to Bible passages more than actual practices. A religious way to “turn the mind” when suffering. She spoke from her heart and gave real life examples of how she put her beliefs into action when struggleing with her own problems.

Audiobook. Good story, stayed interested on the road trip. The reader was very good. Several lives intermingled including during war time occupation (Czech), not the main theme by any means. I just couldn't really get off the ground with it. The character's life that fared the best was the dog, Karenin, in my opinion.

Just what I needed.

Just what I needed...I am so pleased with the Incredible Lightness of Being. The author is so positive and hopeful and that is something that I needed to read at this time in my life. I intend to read it again and again for motivation.
