Celestial Mates—Romancing the Galaxy… For ten years, Gwen Harrison has tried to make peace with the cyborgs so they can unite against their common enemy. Now that they’re finally open to a truce, she agrees to have the cyborg commander, JSN42, stay at the human enclave as the cyborgs’ liaison. She’s drawn to him in a way she never expected, and he clearly feels it too. After losing her husband at the hands of the synths and becoming a single mother with two young children, she vowed she would never love anyone again—but she didn’t expect to have a Celestial Mates agent bring them together. Their bond is tentative, but getting stronger, until an act of sabotage threatens the humans, the cyborgs, and their fragile ceasefire.
Can a love fated outside of time and space survive the challenges they face? Find out in this latest installment in the Celestial Mates (and Cybernetic Hearts) series, brought to you by USA Today bestselling author Kit Tunstall, writing as Aurelia Skye.
This story can be read as a standalone, but the overall story arc is strengthened by reading each in order.

Mejor que el primer libro pero aún le falta chispa al romance...
Claimmed by the Cyborg commander de Aurelia Skye libro 2 serie Cybernetic heart
As Gwen sat at the table to negotiate a treaty with the four cyborgs, her thoughts drifted to her deceased husband, Stephen. She was finding it odd that she was currently reacting to one of the cyborg males, JSN42, since this was the first man since Stephen to draw her attention. At the conclusion of the meeting, the cyborg General assigned JSN to remain behind as the liaison and to report back to him daily on their attempts to get familiar with the humans.
Gwen took JSN on a tour of the enclave. As others reacted nervously or in fear of him, she put her hand on JSN to comfort and explain that it would take them time to get used to him. He wrapped his hand around hers and told her that it made him feel warm, responding to the connection between them. She pulled away and hurriedly left him so he could analyze and fix their aquaponics machinery if he could.
The next day, Gwen showed him the DNA samples they had of the now extinct Earth creatures; she was passionate about the idea that it might be possible to clone birds, bees, and maybe other animals to repopulate the desolate Earth someday. JSN saw her enthusiasm, moved closer to her and gently kissed her. Once again, she became uncomfortable and backed away, saying she would see him at dinner.
Could Gwen get past her fear of needing a man in her life, her fear of losing him if she did? Would the others in her enclave embrace the truce they were working for against a common enemy? There was still so much mistrust. All it would take would be any act of betrayal which would break the trust and make the cyborgs enemies again. Then where would that leave Gwen and her children?
This was a wonderful story! The characters were very well drawn so that the reader could feel like they were real – even the cyborgs! The interaction between JSN and Gwen’s little boy was perfection, as the boy had no fear and sincerely wanted to learn all he could about the cyborg. Seeing how Gwen and JSN’s relationship developed was both amusing and tender. He was so honest, and she was trying so hard to not fall for a man after the pain of losing her husband. This was an emotional journey with so much potential! I definitely recommend this book. It is an excellent read! I look forward to more to come!
I received this book for a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we get Gwen Harrison and JSN42 (Jason)'s story. We met both of these characters in "Mated to the Cyborg General". In this book we learn exactly what has happened to Gwen's husband. We also learn more about her children and exactly what she has been doing to help start the peace process. Gwen however is not looking for love like Carrie and DVS she is just looking for a way to save the human race. Little did she know that Freydon Rote has other plans for her. Can she let go of past hurts to find a future with Jason or will she lose her second chance at love by looking to the past?
JSN or Jason as Carrie has dubbed him has come to the human enclave to work as a cyborg liaison. Little did he know what all that would entail. He thought he would observe and possibly help the humans but one look at Gwen has changed that for him. He has never had feelings like this before and is wondering is he having them now because he wants what Carrie and Davis have or is he having real feeling for Gwen? The problem is he knows that her husband isn't in the picture he doesn't know if that means he is dead or if he just never sees him. One day after a structural collapse he gets his answers. The problem with that is it leads him to so many new questions. Can he have a love of his own or will her past stop them before there even is a them?
This book is full of many twists and turns that will have you you wondering what will come next. This book also shows us never close the door on love cause it may come when you least expect it. There is so much I want to tell you about this book but don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I would however recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
Gwen is the leader of some human forces who has been trying to reach out to the cyborgs for a truce against their mutual enemy for a long time. Now she has their attention she is doing her best to broker a deal. The cyborgs aren't sure if they believe she is on their side but are willing to try. To facilitate communication, the cyborg general assigns his commander JSN42 to stay with the humans. At first JSN42 has a negative opinion of the humans but the more he spends time with them the more feelings he has for them. He is especially touched by Gwen's little boy who isn't scared of him and wants to know everything about him. Maybe this truce will work out after all. Gwen has been struggling for awhile. He husband was killed by the synthetics a few years ago and she has been struggling with being a leader and raising her family alone. She is thrilled when the cyborgs are willing to work with them and help with the synthetic enemy. When the cyborg general assigns JSN42 to her group, she doesn't know what to make of it. He is attractive and surprising kind. He helps lessons her load. Will the two former enemies become allies? This is a good book with some great world building. I enjoyed watching JSN42 open up to the humans and Gwen's family. I voluntarily received a copy of this story and this is my honest review.
God how I love this series! Aurelia Skye has such a way of weaving a truly intriguing tale. They are so well written and extremely fun to read.
I have to say I love that peach alien with the Celestial Mates agent Freydon Rote. How he keeps bring all these couples together. Some just by bringing others together, so the next couple will meet. In this case he brought Carrie 400 years in the future. Just to meet DVS84 or Dave as she calls him. This in turn meant he had Brought Gwen and JSN42 or Jason together. I love that Jason was such a protector of not only Gwen but her children. But not everyone is for them being together. And when she and her kids are attacked I was so ticked off. How could someone do this to a child? Fortunately Jason was able to help but what it took to save them left them a target to this person to attack them again And you will be so surprised by who it was.
Now before I ruin this for you I will leave off here. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. If you do like this book, please consider leaving a review. The Authors really like it when you do; they value your opinions too
This story is part of the "Celestial Mates" series. It is also the second story in the "Cybernetic Hearts" series and picks up where book one- "Mated to the Cyborg General"- left off. As the leader of the human enclave, Gwen has been trying to reach out to the cyborgs. She wants peace between the the two and a joint effort to fight their common enemy the synthetics. JSN42- Jason to his friends(Carrie)- is assigned as the cyborg liaison to the enclave. Feelings develop between Gwen and Jason as they work at finding a way to bring peace to the humans and cyborgs. Not all are happy about a possible peace. Will an act of sabotage destroy the truce? This is a great addition to both of the series to which it belongs. Ms Skye has introduced several cyborgs that are waiting for their story and I can't wait to read them.
*I received an Advance Readers Copy of this book which I am voluntarily reviewing*
This is the second book in the series. It can be read as a stand-a-lone, but I recommend you read them in order, It will mean more if you do. It is fast paced and well written with strong main characters. This is JSN (or Jason) and Gwen's story. JSN is a cyborg and Gwen is human. Gwen is looking to broker a peace treaty with the Cyborgs who have been their enemy. Jason is left behind in order to see what value the humans can bring to the treaty. Why would anyone create an act of terrorism to end the truce? Can they come together to defeat a common enemy? I like this series and give this book 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced readers copy without pressure to do so".
This story takes place in the distant future, which is a terrifying prospect if it actually becomes a reality. For the benefit of the story, we will assume that it is real. Cyborgs are running the planet earth which has been devastated by some future action and humanity is in peril of being exterminated by the loss of life as we know it. No birds, bugs, bees, cattle or other animals that we depend on for food are left in this world. Amongst this world wide crisis, the characters, both humans and cyborgs are trying to survive. JSN and Gwen meet, fall in love and have to struggle against the prejudices facing them. The book doesn't tax you brain but is an easy way to read and be entertained.
Gwen has been trying for years to contact the cyborgs in order to, hopefully, negotiate a treaty. After meeting with their commander, she agrees to have a cyborg liaison stay at the human enclave. JSN proves to be a valuable addition when he repairs some equipment for them. Gwen doesn't hide her growing fondness for JSN, and one of the residents will cause an explosion in an effort to eliminate cyborgs that are at the enclave. These are fascinating characters, and there are some interesting twists in the plot. Fantastic, sexy read. Loved this book!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book.
I am the leader of the enclave I have been trying to unite the humans and cyborgs and now they are here and the general is staying here and we have made sparks fly between us while some humans still do not trust the cyborgs and my kids are thrill to meet the general cyborg he fell in love with my kids one girl and one boy but I lost my husband to the syth they have not feeling or anything else just to kill us so I will work with my mate to keep us all safe. Loved this book so good and hot exciting and thrilling so good love all them all I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book and I can't wait for the next one. Michelle
The earth has been almost destroyed. Very little is left Gwent is the leader of the last group of humans. That they know of anyways. She has worked for years to get the cyborgs to join forces with them to fight against the synthetics.
While all this is going on there is an attraction going on between her and JSN24 a cyborg. Love the action on this with great story and awesome characters. There is tons of stuff going on and I just couldn't put it down. Great SYFY romance don't miss it. Voluntarily reviewed a copy and I honestly loved it.
Second book in this series and I can not wait for the next one as this is a series I am enjoying very much . Gwen Harrison a widow and JSN42 ( Jason) a cyborg and Earth's Liaison and her children. They are bought together by a Celestial Mates agent , will they become a family or will something happen? I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
Book #2 of the Cybernetic Hearts/ Celestial Mates series. Gwen is the human who rescued Carrie in the last book. She meets JSN42 when he comes as the cyborg liaison. She can't keep her mind or her eyes off of him and he soon proves that he isn't just only interested in her but her kids too. I loved it!
The second book was just as great as the first one and it gets better as the story goes on. Loved the chemistry of the characters with plenty of action, fear of the unknown, passion, and romance. This book will not disappoint in anyway and keep them?
Well written and enjoyable read. If you enjoy reading SciFi romantic fiction then you will enjoy reading this one. I can't wait to read the next one in this series
