A short, sweet and different sort of romance by Leanore Elliot that gives off a real feel which many of us woman can relate to from one point or another in our lives. She wrote us a romance with humor, surprises and intense sexual attraction that can be felt through the pages. Hot cowboys, home cooking and a brand new meaning to M & M’s are just a few things that you’ll gain an appreciation for from reading Double Plush Velvet. I feel many fans of the romance genre and an all around great and touching story will enjoy this read.
Bren is a treasure of a woman. Tough, witty, smart, a touch shy and definitely determined. After months of admiring from a far and serving a hunk of a man that has yet to show interest in her and the need to have some… more in her life. She takes the plunge and goes to apply for a job opening on the farm where he works hoping for nothing but the best outcome. After all, she has nothing to lose but give it a try :)
Our hot cowboy is a man with a huge heart, lots of lickable muscles, and a taste for… sweets. He’s very family oriented and works very hard on the farm daily. He’s one man that’s chock full of glorious surprises for all to witness.
I LOVED all of the characters within. They each had their very own personality and added a perfect touch to it as a whole. Be prepared to be touched and possibly addicted to Bren’s story. I know I cannot wait for the next one to be released :)

Omg!! I LOVED this book! A woman looking to obtain confidence, twin cowboys, a momma who's witty, a sister who's fierce, a housekeeper that doesn't know her elbow from her ass and more cowboys on hand!
Yum!! I couldn't put this book down! It made me laugh so much I almost peed my pants! A love story that I will read over many more times! I can't wait for the next book in the series to come out☺ Thank you Leanore for writing such a wonderful story that kept me on my toes!!

Oh golly Miss Molly you have outdone yourself Leanore! A hot, sexy cowboy who likes to eat, a mouthful. Bren is one lucky gal. I love that she cooks and enjoys bubble baths. M&M's anyone?

This was pretty good. I really liked Bren and Trevor and enjoyed their story. This is the first thing I've read by this author and based on this I'd try more of her work.
Bren Plush is a waitress at a diner in a small town Texas. She's full figured and tends to be on the shy side but she's also sweet and quirky as well. She hasn't had much luck with men but has been semi-stalking one of her customers at the diner, trying to pluck up the courage to do something about her infatuation with the tall, handsome cowboy. She knows that they need a cook at the ranch he works at, so she gives herself a pep talk and goes out to the ranch to apply for the cook job.
Trevor is a cowboy and the son of the owners of the ranch. He likes curvy women but has had relationship problems in the past that's made him skittish. He saw Bren at the diner and has been interested even since but she always seemed so shy that he never made a move. Trevor is a sweet guy and I really liked him.
Bren drives out to the ranch but before she ever get there, trouble starts when her brakes go out on the way there. She manages to stop safely after almost running over a cowboy and his horse...her cowboy as it turns out. She's even more shocked when he flirts with her. There's some misunderstandings and a mistaken identity having to do with twins that makes the start of the relationship between Trevor and Bren rather halting, but it does start. Being along for the ride was a fun way to spend an hour or 2. I liked the ending and Trevor's confession, Bren and Trevor make a cute couple and you get the feeling they'll make it. But since it ends with the relationship so new, maybe it's more of a HFN ending (instead of a HEA?).
This was a very enjoyable read. The author managed to make the story both funny and sweet and with a dash of the unexpected. I loved Bren and Trevor and enjoyed seeing them get together. I'd recommend this story. :D

I thought this short novella was pretty cute and definitely pretty steamy. I enjoyed the twist the author added to the story. All in all, if you're looking for a quick, cute, steamy erotic read, here you go.

It was fine, but too rushed. Sometimes it was as though there were some parts missing. It would do this story a lot of good if the events happened during a week or two and not one evening and one day. And a little bit more dialogue maybe?

Can anyone say Stalker? She is a clumsy stalker that isn't even funny in any way. I read the first 10 pages and with a disgusted but inevitable sigh but the book down.

Such a great read, new to Leanore's writing ... I'm 1st read from Leanore. love that name. Can't wait to see what else this author has to read. Bren is just too much, she is priceless!! Love her style, her attitude. She will make you laugh over and over!! A very fast sexy read. Who doesn't lust over a fine looking hot hard working cowboy ... what a great read, it will pull ya right on in. loved it. must read! ( :

I really did enjoy this book. Loved the fact that the heroine was curvy and awkward around a certain hot cowboy. She's shy and insecure, and that leads to self-doubt about her job and especially about going after Trevor.
This story begins with Bren stalking and fantasizing about Travis who never even seems to give her a second look when he comes by the diner she works at. Sometimes he'll talk to her but she never seems to have the guts to pull out a conversation. Tired of living in hiding and never going after what she wants, she decides to pursue a job as the cook at the Kincade Ranch. That's where she accidentally meets Trevor.
Trevor has insecurities of his own especially when it comes to his brother Travis. Now that Bren has been hired as the new cook, will Trevor be able to stay cautious or will he give in?
Even when I found the story a bit rushed even for an insta-love story, I still can't wait to see what happens in book two. Both Bren and Trevor have an easygoing chemistry and makes their story easy to follow.

Really?!
I hate cowboys!! I great up in Sunny California where the wanna be cowboys hung out at Montana's in San Dimas and all the 'popular' girls still, and do, hang out there. My loathing began.
OH! And then Leanore had to write an awesomely hot book, with a super hot, sexy, and sweet cowboy--who also happens to like women with more cushion for the pushin'... Yeeeeahhhhhh, I'm totally sold! Hook, line, and sinker, I'm ready to go on a cowboy erotic romance buying spree!
Although, there is just something about Leanore's men--and women that I really relate to. They are easy to get to know, they bleed off the page their emotions, and I find myself thinking (this chick is totally cool, I want to be her friend) and the men are big alpha lugs on a page. Oh, they are Alpha, don't get me wrong--but they also have a vulnerable edge--a kryptonite if you will--that makes them all the more appealing!
The clever one liners, and internal musings had me laughing out loud with people staring at me in my house! I jumped right into the second book, because of course Leanore had to throw me for a loop and totally leave it to where I screamed like a crazy woman at my Kindle! Well, on to Kande! Oh, and making sure Bren smacks Trevor on the back of his big bullhead!

I enjoyed this book tremendously!! I love when the bigger girl gets her romance and the guy in her dreams! I loved the twist of twins. It was a surprise, but made the rest of the story much better. I felt that it progressed a little too fast. In my opinion, I would have liked it to go a little longer before they fell into bed.... Just to give them more time to get close. Other than that....loved it. Great job.

Waitress Bren has the hots for Travis, the hot cowboy who comes into her diner. She hears his ranch needs a cook, so she high tails it outta that job in order to take that job and go after the man she's been lusting over.... only to find out that he's a Twin and now she's not sure who's who.
She figures it out right quick with her keen observation skills but doesn't realize that these two guys are kinda crazy in terms of sibling rivalry.

This is basically a long monologue of the heroine's inner thoughts. There is very little dialogue, little plot and no character development really. The 'what my momma would say' sayings coupled with the most tepid solitary sex scene produces a forgettable short story. I really wanted to like this book but it just made me cringe.

I chose this rating because it was a pretty good book. I really enjoyed all the characters. Now I know Bren was lik what? when she realized that Travis had a twin. And come to find out it was Trevor that she really wanted after all. Travis was not a good fit he was all about himself. She realized that when she went to get a job at their mom's ranch. Their mother and their sister seem to get along with her pretty well so far. At the end of the book Trevor saw something on Bren's coffee table and he didn't like and he jumped to his own conclusion. Instead of talking it over with her. That was not a very good move on his part. So far pretty good read. Now onto the next book, to see what's going to happen with Trevor and to see if his sister will get her a man.

If you're looking for a quick read on a rainy day this is it!
This is the story of Bren Plush, not only is Plush her last name but it also seems to fit her physical description:). She a waitress at the local dinner and seems to have the same mental insecurities that are, I would say common to every woman who is not a size 0. Enter this hot as hades cowboy(s),Trevor/Travis, who eats all of his meals at the dinner and mention that the main house is out of a cook. Now this is were Bren takes her life in hand and off she goes to offer her services..and it basically changes her life.
Now the reason I gave it a 3 star rating, it seemed a bit rushed and seems to be missing some parts to the story to make it more complete. Sometimes left me a little confused as to what had happened. Also the Main focus of the story seems to happen all within about 12 hrs or so. It would have made more sense to have it spread out over a week or more. <--- But that is just my personal opinion.

Oh how this book made me smile! Bren Plush is a hard working woman who has assets to spare! She works as a waitress and becomes smitten with a hard working cowboy who comes in for his meals. Slightly short of stalking, she heads out to the ranch he works at and applies to become the cook. Hmmm, one woman cooking for a whole mess of hot cowboys and she gets paid? Hello, perfect job! There is a thread of humor running through this as she meets her cowboy and he seems to have a twin personality! Quick read that will leave you smiling and satisfied!

I received this book as an ARC and as I haven't read anything from this author before, I wasn't sure what to expect. This is a great story. Bren's decision to move on with what she really wants could have gone badly for her. I really loved the ‘dos & don’ts’ that Bren remembers her Mum telling her. Lightens up the antagonism between the brothers. Well done Leanore, I am really looking forward to reading Book 2 now.

Funny and Sexy at the same time. Great quick Read
Oh my word! What a fun and Sexy Quick Read Double Plush is! This book had me laughing out loud in parts. I can so see some east Texas cowboys, hot and scruffy...fighting over a fine looking BBW women like Ms Plush. Just her name was perfect for her character. Perfect length of a read for a hot summer night by the pool. Great details with the perfect balance of heat and laughter.
This does end in a cliffhanger of sort as it continues in more books.... it is a soap opera in book form. LOVE IT!

Bren works in a diner. Travis works/owns the ranch . Bren fancies Travis and after a few weeks of him coming into the diner she decides to go for a job at the ranch so she can be closer to Travis. This book has funny parts,wow,and omg moments with a twist to it as well. i enjoyed this book so onto book 2

A quick read. You have Bren who is very insecure and decides to go after the hot cowboy. She gets a job at his house as a cook and things get heated everywhere. I do think that it was a little rushed on some of the story line, but then again it was a quick read. I received an arc copy for my honest review.

The Three C's - Cowboys, Cooking, and a Cabin... what more could any story need? Absolutely an enjoyable read. Quick, fun, and plenty of the good stuff. Double Plush was a blast. Looking forward to the sequel.

ARC for an honest review. Pretty quick read and overall very charming male character.... if you choose the right male character. 😉 Bren is a very nice female lead with just a touch of self consciousness from being chunky with the last name of Plush.

Bren has the hots for a Kincade and decides to finally take her Ma's advice and go after him and that's where the fun really begins! plenty of moments to make you blush, cringe and lol as well as some great characters and story line and I just love that it is a sexy book about Plush ladies who deserve some hot happiness. Can't wait to read book 2 Hot Blue: A Western Romance (Red Velvet Series Book 2).
