Amazing Stories about the SCB Special Crime Bureau
These stories are both dramatic and romantic. The SCB is Special Crime Bureau which really is Shifter Crime Bureau which solves shifter crimes and humans don't know about there are shifters.
The first story in the box set is titled Handcuffed to the Bear he is about Jack, who was a mercenary military shifter oh, now an agent at SCB, and a bear Undercover bear shifter with the lead on missing shifters. While on a trip he sees a woman being kidnapped, run to assist her, and is kidnapped himself. When they wake up handcuffed together, they quickly realize that they are prey to a pride of lion shifters on an island. Can Jack and Casey survived?
Guard Wolf he's about Avery, is a military wolf shifter who has survived an ambush by insurgents, is crippled by his wounds, and presently trying to find who is the wolf pups belong to. Nicole is social Services personnel, a human who knows about shifters, and is concerned about the wolf shifters pups and why they can't change to human. They worked together and realized that Some Humans I know the shifter Secret. Avery and Nicole are captured by the scientists. Will they excape and find the pup's parents?
The third story in the series is about Dragon's Luck. Lucky is a dragon-shifter gambler who's trying to find his cousin who kidnapped his sister. Jen Cho is one of the SCB agent tasks with the finding out about the new drug called Dragon Tears. Lucky and Jen meet on a ship and decide to become boyfriend and girlfriend in order to get into a poker tournament and the prize is Dragon Tears street value a $1,000 for each vial. Trouble began when they are board ship. Will lucky and Jen survived their troubles and find true love?
I originally got Guard Wolf first, which I enjoyed immensely so much so that I got this box set. After this I'm going to read Tiger in a hHot Spot. I love the characters and their interactions with other shifters that makes the storylines relatable, sometimes funny, and very fast paced drama. Each story is well written and unique.

Such a suspenseful, romantic action packed stories.
Since book four is not with this set it will be my next read. This is my first read of this author Lauren Esker and after reading these three book I want to read more. She is very descriptive of the characters the rooms and all areas these shifter live and work in. You have wolves, lynx, dragons, geckos, and a spider plus all the unknown shifters they come across. Each book gets more and more exciting. I Got this description from the book.....

Great series of stories! You will get your fill of intrigue, excitement, avarice, suspense, evil villains, handsome heros, and romantic endings! You will also be introduced to an extremely eclectic mix of shifters!
One more book in the series just waiting for me to start reading it...and I am heading for it right now!

Well Done!
A new for me author, this was offered on KU. Imagine my surprise at the well thought out storylines and the intrigue in each story. There was action, both in and out of the bedroom as well as nerdy references with humor mixed in to the matter.

Actual storylines !
Whilst I love a good sex scene, so many books are becoming a series of sex scenes with a smattering of storyline. This series had the benefit of storyline’s that held my attention, still with the steamy scenes that bring the fun.

nice first collection of HEA shifter romances
I liked this series of stories. Ms. Esker tells the stories well and keeps you interested in the main characters.

Fun and Action Packed
Another great shifter romance, parts of it made me think of horror films. Definitely recommend if you liked her previous books. It can be read as a stand alone like the other books in the series.

WOW!! I loved these books. I found it very hard to put these books down. I couldn't help but feel very connected to the characters. I look forward to reading more books by Lauren Esker.
