Sivasankari is an Indian author and activist who writes in Tamil. She is one of the four Tamil writers asked by the United States Library of Congress to record their voice as part of the South Asian article on Sivashankari.
2.5 stars It was disappointing. Liked a few stories from Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Karnataka and Andhra were quite disappointing, including the story (rather excerpt from a book) by my favorite Kannada author S L Bhyrappa. I feel the book could have been better knit. Am quite sure there are more deserving stories from the rich heritage of our South Indian states.
