I just finished reading this and fortunately all I can say is Ms. Porscha you are truly a cut above the rest. We weren't even 1 page into the book and I already had my tears rolling down my cheeks. To give us the insight of why Quentin was the way that he was allowed us to empathize with him. Before adding this I just saw Quentin as a monster. There was nothing human about him to me and because you allowed us to see the issues that he dealt with as a kid I could really see and understand how he could have strayed so far off path. He was a kid too and he was faced with an incredibly difficult situation that even some adults would have gotten wrong. To expect a child who clearly was being tortured and abused himself to do the right thing is danggone near impossible. Then we see Ms. Shanicia. She really ticked me off for a second but then I had to get off the Legend train and see it from her viewpoint. They had only been together for the summer. I had to remember that it wasn't years of things happening but in a relatively short time she had experienced things that many women would have just packed up and ran never to look back. The fact that she agonized over her decision prior to leaving and even when she was in Atlanta doing what she felt was best for her showed that she indeed had a strong love for him. Murk and Maliah were hilarious to me. One minute I was sitting there laughing and crying at their foolishness and the next moment I was sitting with my mouth agape just asking did he really just say that LMBO. But what gets me about all of the Dumas brothers, from Legend, Murk, Quan, and Damian is the fact that they grew so much in such a relatively short time. Damian was a man-whore in book 1 and 2 but we were able to see that he did in fact love Trell and he realized albeit a little late that she was the best thing that could have ever happen to him. Quan was a clown but to see how much he cared for Quentin in spite of what he had done showed us that love, unconditional love is able to overlook a multitude of fault even when the person that is hurt is someone that is close to your heart; which in this case it was Quentin hurting Cush but ultimately all of their hurt was a result of Quentin's father and his hellish existence on earth. Legend again showed tremendous growth, selflessness, determination, and discipline by not only letting Shanecia go when she left giving her the room that she needed to come to grips with his lifestyle but also not moving forward and satisfying his physical needs with anyone else. Even when he was about to slip up he reigned himself in by number one recognizing that Ms. Berneice was right and number two by realizing that he just couldn't hurt Shanecia like that. The love these men had for one another was once again able to shine through when we witnessed how they ribbed Quan but let him know in no uncertain terms that they had no problems with whomever he chose to love as long as she was the woman that was going to be there for him. This was further exhibited when they realized that Cush was gay. They just didn't care as along as each of them were happy and with someone who put their wellbeing first. Overall this is a FANTASTIC BOOK!! I absolutely loved everything about it and I just didn't want to put it down. Oh and how can I forget about Ms. Loretta. I LOVED HER!!!!!! I just know that I am going to be this crazy and zany when I get to be her age. She was 100% hilarious and just about every time she appeared in a scene I knew that I was in for a ride. Now to you Ms. Porscha Sterling!!! You are one of those writers that us avid readers don't come across very often. You get better and better with every release. I know that each and every time I'm reading one of your books that I am going to walk away from the literary table completely full and satiated. There are a handful of writers that I say this about but you my dear are completely and without a shadow of doubt BORN TO DO EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE DOING!!!! If there is a literary angel sitting up high and looking low, she is no doubt sitting back preening and grinning from ear to ear because she knows in you SHE CREATED PERFECTION!!! The prowess with which you wield one of your most powerful assets is legendary and on a plateau that stands alone on it's on merit. You my girl are an AMAZING writer and years from now we will still continue to reference your books and remember where we were when we were blessed with the opportunity to read a Porscha Sterling book!! Kudos my dear and I can't wait for part 4 please don't have me sitting over here starving for too long!!!!

Each installment the storyline gets better and better and loved how it's written and how it continues to draw you in with all the suspense and surprises. Nothing but fast pace, lots of action and full of drama with a new twist thrown in the mix, makes it so much more interesting. Love the way the development of the characters as they continue to grow and how the make each other stronger. Can't wait to see what's next on this roller coaster ride with Shanecia, Maliah, Legend and the D-Boys and throw in Quention and Cush, who knows what awaits these characters in PT.4. Well done and written Porscha Sterling.

Porscha Sterling still got this audiobook girl reading with her eyes. Lol. I am loving King of the Streets, Queen of His Heart 3. Great read. The story line picks up exactly where book 2 left of at. Just because you grew up in the hood does not mean you grew up in the streets. The D-Boys in this book are definitely street niggas and the woman are a little hood. A Perfect combination. Yet still things can go from sugar to shit in just a minute.
I am just hoping this combination of love can with stand this big showdown that just went down at the end of Book 3 . Let me put on my reading glasses and hop on into book 4. We READY!

The suspense is crazy
The suspense like I said before is crazy. I am intrigued with this story I know there will be more and I'm hoping we get a closer look into Quan and Nichola the story behind his secret should be interesting I definitely know that a spinoff with Maliah and Murk those two are as crazy and they come. The reason for us being introduced to these characters is bcz of Legend and Shanecia. We've only begun to understand their story I need more and you will too after reading.

Talk about drama. I knew Legend was going to lose it when Nessy left. She thought she was doing the right thing. You can’t run from love no matter how hard to try.
LiLi better stop playing with Murk and just forget about Danny. Murk is showing her that’s he her man and loves her.
Tan needs to grow up and stop thinking every woman is like her.
Quentin saved them but I knew he would come back and hunt them later.
Dame and Quan are so funny.
Porsche never disappoints me, her pen gave his strong.

Shocked
The storyline in this series just keeps getting better. These brothers will have your emotions all over the place. One minute you will be laughing, then happy they’re in love, and then upset that they’re being stupid. The women are all strong in their own unique way. Excellent character development. I recommend this five star read to all who enjoy great reading, and interesting series. I look forward to reading more from this author.

What the hell!?!? I did not see that ending coming!!! I can’t believe it!! I have a feeling the other twin Quentin snitch & lied to the police about them. He was the only loose end they didn’t trust. Everything was going good for all the brothers then, boom they locked them up for something they didn’t do smh. Part 4 here I come, I can’t wait to read what happens next.

I really enjoyed this book. I am glad they got Mello. So now their lives get some kind of normal. Legend went and got his woman. Glad that Cush came out the closet. Wow, Murk got married, who would have thought. Now they get arrested. When will it end?. In to book 4

They messed up. I grown to like the Dumas boys. Legend lost his self control and now it cost them ALL dearly, the women included. I hope Neesy doesn’t chicken out. She has to be with Legend for all him, not just the good.

Picked up 2 left off. Legend is hot that Quentin has caught up to shanecia. Quentin popping up on the scene causes a few past demons to come to light about their childhood. Shanecia gets put in the middle of legends beef and she can't take it so she runs back to atl. Legend is dealing with a lot and raising h*** in the streets looking for Mello. Murk and mailah are still crazy together. Dame is still missing Trell. Quan is not really hanging with brothers because he hiding a secret. Cush also wants to be free of her brothers lifestyle because she hiding a secret as well. Mama Loretta is a fool gotta to love her. Tanecia and Darin finally get together only deal with a baby mama situation that's causes tan to step up. That ending was a shocker can't wait to see how story 4 unfolds.

Loved it! I had a feeling there was going to be a part 4. So happy that Legend and Nessy are back together AND engaged. I hope they can make it through this situation. Even though she is a good girl, I hope she will be come his ride or die in this new situation. Glad Quan got him a boo! The part when his brother's busted in on him and "thickums" was hilarious. I don't think we have seen the last of Quentin. I think he is probably responsible for the new situation that D-Boys are in. I would not be surprised one bit seeing as he is the one who gave the guys the info about Mello. Anyway, great job, Miss Porscha! Looking forward to part 2.

Once again Porscha Sterling has out did herself once again. This here is a five star plus just absolutely outstanding. In here she speaks of love that brings tears in yours eyes. She brings her story to life while you are reading. The Dumas boys has been thru so much that nothing was given to them. All of them have their Skelton's but at the end of the day they were all they had. That kind of love is pure and rare. Legend no matter what he was going to get Needy back. Murk the hardest one of them all is now the family man. Every thing looking good until the end. Everybody is happy until they may face not having that happy ending. A very good read.

I was sceptical about reading this especially when I found out their was multiple books. However the characters were easily likeable and I really got into the story line which normally doesn't happen when I read urban books.
ANYWAY! Exciting, and dramatic is what I would use to describe this trilogy I can't say I'm not disappointed with the end because I am. I was left with so meny questions.
I wasn't crazy about the main character Legend and his woman I actually found myself more interested in his brother Murk and his lady. They are the definition of ghetto love and I loved them.
Overall, well I read all three books soo lol entertaining and an easy read. Can't wait for the fourth book

I'm on the legendary high right now I love these characters of course Legend is my bae but you put it down here, Kush gay...Cheap azz Quan with a plus size Diva yasssss girl so much drama and finally Marco met up with karma.......Yasssssssss I'm ready for part 4...ALISHA REDEMPTION can't wait ....... out freaking standing and my sister got it going on

This was good Legend and his brothers have been through a lot and it seems as soon as things start looking up bs follows...I'm hoping that ending with the Fed's fall through and everyone can be back home, hopefully Neesy will be able to hold Legend down when he really needs her...I know Maliah got Murk hopefully I will be able to say the same about Trell and NATORRRIAAAAA!
