Haemas Tal, the founder of the House of Moons, a controversial school for mind-talent, must draw on her own remarkable abilities when she is pitted against Lord Chee, who attempts to use an ancient mind-control weapon to spread war throughout the universe. Reprint.
I didn't like this one as much as the first one. It wasn't a worse story, it just had more political nonsense in it, which I've never been much of a fan of that sort of thing. It's a decent continuation of the storyline, and it's probably something you want to read if you liked the first one, and I can see room for another one in the series too, might be nice to see how it all finishes.
This second book didn't quite capture me like the first one, but I still enjoyed it and I like how KD Wentworth, weaves everything together. It does give you a bit of closure as to what will become of Haemas and her future.
