She writes wickedly fierce, spicy romances featuring dirty talkin' bikers, deadly, possessive reapers, wild bad boys, and the feisty, independent women they love. She's a mom to six sons, two of whom are Marines. Books are her favorite escape.
This book definitely took off right where the last one left off, but in this book, we get to see what is on the other side of the portal and all sorts of new character. We finally meet Kellan's family and the mysterious Baethan.
This book had a lot more action than the last book and Rhiannon grows up a little bit, coming into her gifts and learning to fight because she can see in her premonitions that a battle is coming.
I tore through the book as it was a great read with well developed characters and almost non stop action. Some characters develop a few chinks in their armor and new characters are introduced with more solid armor, as mysterious as they may be.
Now expanded and revised with new content, including other alternating points of view that enhance the story. I think you'll love the updated version. ;)
Nikki Landis didn't miss anything where switching from book one to book two. Didn't even feel like I closed the first book. The charters were just as awesome in this one as they were in the last. You do it to watch and experience the characters grow as you read. There is also a huge shift in the story line in a good way. In the first book everything was located on Rhia side of the realm and this time she follows Kellen home.
In the first book, you find easy to find and fall in love with your favourite characters. Well, you can hang that notion up by the door when you open "The Harbinger", cause you are going to find yourself falling for yet another favorite, well, at least till you meet the next. You are going to love one then think "hmm something seems odd about him/her now". Then another character is going to swoop in and take your heart.
I have this book 4 stars out of 5. I really enjoyed the beautiful ride this book took me on and looking forward to reading the next!
This book was a fantastic continuation of Rhiannon's story. It picks up right where the last book left off. From the beginning, I was thoroughly entranced with this story. Admittedly, the writing does have some rough patches, but the story is compelling enough to keep you hooked. The character development and world-building make this book one you won't want to miss. Rhia's relationship with Kellen is so sweet and innocent, and such a refreshing switch from the majority of novels. The character of Lord Baylor is very engaging, and I look forward to finding out more about him as the story progresses. Overall, this was an enjoyable read, and I cannot wait to find out what is in store for Rhia as she continues exploring the new world she finds herself an integral part of.
This book was awesome but there were a couple places that the story jumped and left me confused. But other than that I really enjoyed reading this story so much that I look forward to the next book in this series because I have to know what else happens to Rhiannon. So yes I do recommend this book to anyone who’s looking for a awesome story to get lost in. But if you haven’t read the first book then I highly suggest that you do otherwise you will get confused.
As with the first book I was hooked for the start! Tons of action, fast paced with twists and turns galore, great character development, drama, suspense this really has it all and I cannot wait to read the next one!

With even more plot twists and new character development, this book left me flipping its pages 'til the very end. The romance between Rhia and Kellen grew even more. I loved meeting some new characters & environments but when Rhia meets mysterious stranger the tension between them is almost tangible. This book has plenty of great parts, I think my favorite was the tournament. Seriously...readers are going to want to get their hands on The Meridian the very second they read the last word of this book.
The demon attacks are coming more frequently in the human world. Rhiannon's grandfather has died of a heart attack. Kellen has convinced Rhiannon they must past through the portal and go back to his world, leaving her grandmother on the human side in order to relay all the events to his father, the leader of the Guardians. Chivalry and honor were still what dictated actions on the mystical side of the portal. Even though Seasnan has been Kellen's friend since they were small, growing up together and then becoming Guardians. We're seeing him become a more involved in the tale. Not only that, but the black knight, Baelon or Lord Baylor, has made far more appearances and now plays a more intricate and intriguing part. Nikki Landis and continued with this story weaving the plot and intrigue to tightly, letting a few crumbs of information come to light and yet the underlying plot is still expanding. This has been an exhilarating tale up to this point. One I can't wait to see what happens next.
feel really fickle and mean, in the first book I so enjoyed the love between Ria and kellan. I thought Kellan was just perfect as the stereotypical white knight. Then along comes Bae and wow he ticks all the boxes he really is perfection the black knight. The story moves seamlessly from book one to book two and starts to unfold more deeply into the narrative. The scenes are so vivid and descriptive, nothing is left out that would hinder ones imagination from enjoying the full glory of the tournaments and battles and individual altercations that pepper the book with feasts for the senses. Every word is meaningful and non is wasted in trivia and repetition, this is just flowing into ones mind and like a good meal is swallowed and one feels satiated knowing there will be another to follow soon enough.
Rhiannon and Kellen travel through the portal to the world where she was born - and where she meets Lord Baylor - who is not all that he seems. Rhiannon loses her heart to him as well - as he saves her from demons and other evils who seek to destroy her. She meets family members whom she never knew existed, and battles her feelings for the 2 men in her life - there is romance, mystery, violence and love - an awesome follow up to the first book in the series. It ends with a cliff hanger, and I am looking forward to finding out what happens.

KICKIN' UP THE HEAT!!! OMG! Talk about not knowing what's next. Wow! This is one action packed, fast paced, hard hitting, nailbiting, pulse racing, heart pounding, smooth flowing, page turning, rollercoaster ride that captivates from the start. This little guy totally blew my mind. All the ups and downs, ins and outs, unexpected surprises and unpredictable circumstances, this baby will have you higher than the clouds one second and on your knees the next. A whirlwind of emotions and events that really make the storyline feel as though life flows through this entire tale and the plot gets more and more tense. The drama, lies, deceit, danger and suspense ride high as the tale unfolds. The characters and scenes are written with such realism it really pulls this bad boy together beautifully. You'll be flipping pages so fast you come to the climax and try to see past that last page. Bring on the next installment. You guys really have to grab you a copy, this is one series you don't want to miss. Nikki did a magnificent job bringing this read to life flawlessly. Amazing job Nikki, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.
Continuing smoothly from book one, The Harbinger by Nikki Landis has even more twists and turns. As Rhiannon's journey continues, she is seen to mature as the story unfolds. She learns how to use her gifts and prepares herself for the battle that she has seen coming. ]The reader sees the other side of the portal, new characters are introduced, and special mention goes to the mysterious Baethan. It is a difficult book to put down. The reader is caught up in the story from the beginning right up to the very last page that is fraught with danger, suspense, drama, lies, deceit, and romance taking him/her on a real emotional roller coaster ride. I completely lost myself in this story. The characters are vividly drawn and their interactions are ring true. I love Rhiannon and Kellan and the introduction of Kellan’s family and his home bring a new dimension. Learning more about Seasnon and Baethan and about the Darkness also added more layers to the story. At times Kellan’s jealousy was annoying but his character is so well written that I still can’t help but adore him. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I am so in love with this series. When I learned that she was doing a book about a angels and demons, I perked right up! A classic tale of good versus evil and they will need to stand together if they want to make it out alive. Really love how the story develops and how everything is coming together. Loved the whole book but that ending has me wanting more ASAP Really looking forward to the final installment for this series.

Rhiannon and Kellen have left Earth and returned to his home. Many adventures await them and will test their commitment to each other. This is another great story in this series. So many plot twists and lots more character development. There are more in the series so this book ends with a cliff-hanger. Great read, but read book 1 first otherwise you will be lost.

The continuation is lossless between the books. It's like, you are going to one place, and you get down from one train at an interchange station and on the other platform, next train is waiting for you to board it. The transformation from the First book to second is done in this brilliant way. This book gave a new dimension to the story, new introductions and the new things. I really loved the book and it took me to some new places that I have not seen. I from bottom of my heart thank Nikki for the same. I can't wait to read the next.
Fantastic 2nd story of this series and I was excited to start reading it. Rhiannon escaped the demon but there are so many other paranormal’s after her there’s danger around every corner. I swear this book is getting better and better as it goes along there are new mysterious characters added which makes it a more exciting story, I absolutely loved it and I can’t wait to get my hands on book 3. A fantastic story a 5 plus ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
OMG.. Finally we get to meet Bae!!! I love him for her. I have done got to where I'm not a fan of the over controlling lying guardian. But love all the action and different situations. Cannot believe that ending! She needs to be with Bae!

The Harbinger Dark Paranormal Romance Fight for Light #2 Nikki Landis
Great book!! I love Rhiannon!! She is the best heroine. Her love story with Kellen seemed so perfect. Now Bae enters the picture, and you know he is a part of her love life as well and he has to work it in. It is just bad and good at the same time. Then you add in all the twists and turns, and you can't put the book down. Amazing!!

This book took right after the first book. This book will move you along to the next life that will have you hooked from the first page and wanting to get to the next book to see what will happen next. As this book is full of excitement and adventure that will have you addicted to this series.
This is book two in this series. You must read book one first to have complete understanding of events and characters. Everything is just more as the story continues. Rhia's epic journey continues to unfold. She gets a solid grip on her powers but that does little to diffuse the dangers that continue to circle around her. There is drama, suspense, emotional turmoil and the seeds of romance strewn throughout this book. Looking forward to book #3. By my own choice I'm posting a candid review.
There is not one beat missed from book one to book two! More characters are introduced to the series and are absolutely lovable! This story is even more adventurous and suspenseful than the last.

Wow! Talk about intense. This story has enthralled me. I just can’t stop reading it. And they sure know how to keep you on the edge of your sets at the end. So expect plenty of actions and adventure. When it comes to romance Rhiannon will have several males falling for her. But can her own heart help her or make things worse.
I couldn't put this book down! I love Bae! Kellen isn't so bad but I don't like him as much as I did in the first installment. I cannot wait to see what lies ahead for Rhia and everyone else.

Wow....this story was flipping amazing!! The love story between Kellen and Rhiannon is still good but strained when you meet Bae. Bae is so mysterious and interreging! The meeting with his parents and sister and friends was interesting! Then the starting of the war. Oh my!! This book was such a page turner! I couldn't put it down! I would recommend this book to anyone who loves to read!!!!!
