Thanks for stopping by! I loves to weave tales of Alpha Shifters and the woman they love...or is it crave? ; ) I love all things fantasy and paranormal - if you haven't noticed! I am clearly a hopeless romantic too! What a coincidence! When I is not writing I am loving on her pet menagerie of cats and dogs - as well as on her very own Alpha : ) ...Our little gang splits our time between the mountains and the city in the far west... I hope my stories bring a smile, a laugh...as well as some steam to your day. And above all I hope they help you keep the feel of "possibility" alive in your heart...cause all things are possible...at least I like to think so! Enjoy
This was in my “read next” suggestion on Kindle so I decided to just click and give it a shot. It is my fault because I didn’t fully read the title. I just saw it was a wolf shifter and didn’t read the description. I only got a few chapters in until I gave up. I am obviously not a part of the target audience. In the short amount that I had read she was felt up and harassed three times. The first time was at the train station where the dad/hero picked up the girls. Later the friend arranged a double date and told the guy her friend was a virgin so he had to be gentle. On the date he proceeded to grope her and thought she should just be grateful. When she got up to leave her friends she was told to be careful and not to look any of the men in their eyes. Of course, on her walk she encounters another creep. The hero saves the day again but only by telling the guy to back off because she doesn’t know the rules of the town. With all that happened within a few pages I can see that the girl really isn’t her friend and is just thinking about herself. What kind of rape town is this? How could her “friend” just let her leave without her if the town is so dangerous? The dad and daughter are both solely focused on sex. We even get the pleasure of him going to go see the town ho. Personally, I just love it when we get to see the hero have sex that reeks of cigarette smoke and whiskey...That just screams husband material, right? Some authors know how to work with the age gap but this one is way too pervy and juvenile. Watching a classic movie does not make you mature. Having a stoic face while someone is attacking you does not make you mature. Telling his daughter she shouldn’t be trying to be with a man in a relationship does not make her mature. You can’t just keep saying she is mature and not actually back it up. I don’t exactly have confidence in the woman that is going to college but says her only goal is to have a house.
But hey, some people might like this kind of book. Obviously, it just isn’t for me. I have read other books by this author but have never been a fan of the writing style or how she portrays the heroines.

Clark is a wolf shifter and head of security for his pack. Things in his pack have been going downhill since some new shifters came to town and started muscling into the pack. If this isn't trouble enough, his daughter brought home a college friend to stay for the summer and Clark is super attracted. Carmen is a twenty year old college student and a virgin. Her home life stinks so she is happy to stay with her friend for the summer. When she meets Clark, for the first time she feels desire for a man. She wishes he could take her virginity. Clark is under pressure at home and in the pack. The new shifters stage a coup and restart old traditions like a virgin auction. The problem is Carmen is one of the virgins they capture. This is a good book with a lot of action. I loved the older man/ younger woman story.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. Daddy Shifter's Virgin Auction is the first book I read from Leela Ash and I have to say that I like the story line very much. This's a fast pace short shifter romance between an older man and a younger woman. It takes place in Stonebrooke, a community of wolf shifters and features Clark Thomas and Carmen. Clark is a sexy shifter, head of security for the pack and the community & Carmen, she's a college student friends with Rachel Thomas. The plot was very well written, great first and second characters, danger, suspense, a little intrigue, drama, no cheating and no cliffhanger. You need to buy and read the book to find out the conclusion. No Spoilers!!
Leela had written some strong characters in this book and had layered the twists well setting up many possibilities for the last third of the book. I enjoyed the friendship between Rachel and Carmen, as well as the friend ditching for a guy that often happens. The attraction between Carmen and Carter was hot. But the last third of the book let it down. It was almost like the author had reached word count and no longer had to worry so auction, fight, mated. Wham bam end. I was disappointed that it trailed off and didn't explore more of the relationship the exposure of the relationship to Rachel or were the outsiders rogues or Bear's? Did no-one stand up for Thames. It just didn't match the first part of the book . Sorry

This is a short romantic suspense with a mature alpha father whose daughter comes home for summer vacation and brings her best friend. Rachael is Clark's daughter and she is spoiled she didn't even ask if she could bring her best friend home for 3 months. Clark and Carmen lay eyes on each other and the sparks start to fly and she being a virgin wants him to be her first, he feels like a pervert because he is old enough to be her father but Rachael has other plans for her best friend with one of the shifters in town but Carmen is not interested she wants her best friends dad. This was a pretty interesting story line. I purchased this book and I am providing an honest review.
This book was better than I thought. It was about an older male shifter and a young college human. Clark is a wolf shifter who is in charge of the security of his pack. When the town starts going down hill due to new shifters coming to town, the town wants Clark to take control. His daughter comes home for the summer with her friend Carmen. Clark is immediately attracted to her even though he knows it's wrong. When the new shifters take control, the bring the old days traditions back and that includes the virgin auction. When they take Carmen as one of their ladies what will Clark do? What will happen to the town? I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader's Copy of this book.
Rachel and Carmen are headed home from college to Rachel's family home. Rachel's dad, Clark, is trying to keep his family and his place safe from the changes in their pack and community. From the moment he meets Carmen he feels a soul-devouring need to possess her. Luckily Carmen feels the same way. Can they overcome their misgivings and come together? Can they escape the evils looming in their town? This is a short and passionate PNR. The title is awful to the extreme. Otherwise, it's a hit!
This was a good steamy shifter story. There were a number of different elements here. Shifters, daddy/lg love, multi-level taboo elements, and a pack in turmoil. Carmen and Clark were pretty explosive together. I do wish there was a little more development to explain some of the things going and the various characters. I couldn't keep track of them. But I found the story intriguing and enjoyed the interplay and hot romance between Clark and Carmen. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and also bought a copy.
Initially I didn't particularly want to read this story as I found the title very off-putting. It turned out to be an ok read but a little misleading. Yes, there are shifters. Yes, the daddy in the title is a shifter, but no, there is no age play. Yes, there is a virgin auction, but not until near the end. I liked the build of the relationship between Clark & Carmen but felt it really wrapped up super quickly & the completion of the suspense portion could have been so much better.
This was a really good story, jam-packed into a short one. I enjoyed the action, shifter politics, hot & steamy scenes, good vs. evil, and the taboo love very much, but absolutely disliked the title. There is so much information in this story that the author could easily make this into a series without any trouble. I voluntarily read an ARC of this story for review.
I give this book 4 stars. Liked the action and romance that had in the different series of books that was to read in here. I would definitely recommend to this book to others that are 18+. Took some time for me to read but its a book that you don't want to put down after.
You know what I hate, is thinking your going to be reading a full length novel and end up with a bunch of poorly written shot stories. I don't like short stories. Bonus books means fu Fillers. Let's be clear. These free books are not cutting it.
I liked this story. The interaction between the characters was well-written. It showed that age is not the thing that should keep two people from falling for each other. Their chemistry was off the chart.
Great storyline that pulled me in right from the beginning and kept me hooked all the way through to the end. The characters are perfect, the story fast-paced and easily read in one sitting. It is a standalone book with no cliffhangers.
This book was good. We meet a woman who came home with her best friend to a shifter community. While their there was alot of tension in the community. Will things work out? Will they accept thier attraction? Whats next.
An Older Man / Younger Woman fast paced PNR read with instant attraction, some danger, heat and a little intrigue. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
Daddy's Shifter's Virgin Auction by Leela Ash is surprisingly good entertaining. I liked the characters very much. Well worth the time to read it. Thanks
Stopped reading when the H went to visit his go to “fun time girl” let’s call her who was his high school sweetheart and he just uses her as a stand in for the h.
