This beautiful coloring book is for readers who want to unwind with a reminder of God's love and purpose for them. We often live our lives worried about to-do lists and responsibilities, forgetting how God feels about us and who we are in him. Because of this struggle, author Susie Larson began posting nightly blessings on Facebook to encourage her fans and friends, and since then, thousands have responded and forwarded the blessings along to others.
The lefthand pages of this book contain a blessing packed with biblical promises as well as a related Scripture to point you back to God's timeless truth. The righthand pages contain beautiful, intricate illustrations for you to color that bring God's wonders into focus.
Read, rest, and create as you soak in the wonder of God's love for you.

Anyone else find coloring to be relaxing? I do, so when I saw this new devotional from Susie Larson I had to try it out! I already follow Susie on social media and I find her daily blessings to be so encouraging. This book is filled with her beautiful blessings that are uplifting, encouraging, loving, and positive daily affirmations. Each blessing has a beautiful picture alongside it to color. I have been using this devotional after work and it's the perfect way for me to wind down and refresh. I highly recommend this devotional, and that you go follow Susie Larson on social media. She's fabulous! Thank you @bethany_house_nonfiction for this advanced reader in exchange for my honest review.
BOUNTIFUL BLESSINGS: A Creative Devotional Experience is really a book of blessings with lovely pictures to color. The artwork is spectacular and I wanted to sit down and color some of them right away. I read through the entire book in one sitting (only about 96 pages) and I enjoyed the blessings. There's really no meat, but if you read them slowly, do one a day, and meditate on the verse and blessing as you color it could be restful, peaceful, and lead to praying.
This would be a lovely gift for woman for mother's day, a birthday gift, or a just because you're special to me gift. I'll probably keep my copy with a stack of books i have for stressful moments when I can't focus on a fiction or nonfiction book, but need something to keep my mind occupied -- God's word is perfect for that -- and use it as a prayer starter.
A small book filled with lots of Blessings to enjoy. The drawings are great. And easy to fill in for an adult. The paper is thick and appears to be well suited for coloring. (I have not colored any pages)
At first I thought this would be a good book to share with older children for a summer end of school activity. But I think the drawings are too detail for a child.
The devotionals are short though and would be great to share with a child.
The first devotional is simple based on Romans 8:31 (NKJV) What then shall we say to these things? If god is for us, who can be against us?
The title of this devotional is Look Up and Sing
The devotional is simple and straight forward opening for a good discussion with kids.
The drawing is of a garden with birds and butterflies. Any easier color page might be found for children to color along side the adult.
I liked that there is a collection of different Bible versions used including NKJV, NIV, ESV, NLT and The Message.
I enjoyed reading the devotional and look forward to coloring the pages. I plan to share this devotional with my 9 year old grandson.
Bountiful Blessings is a creative devotional and coloring book combination. The 5”x8” softbound book is the perfect size to take on trips. (I love to color and journal on long plane rides.)
Each devotion has its own page, including a title, Scripture verse (various versions) and paragraph-long blessing, opposite a corresponding coloring page. The messages help us focus on God and the many blessings he showers on us each day.
The coloring pages are nature inspired, showcasing pretty flora and fauna. There are pages incorporate all four seasons, but frequent spring and summer florals. The pages are thick enough to use gel pens without seeping through, and many are suitable for framing, if you wish to do so.

Sometimes I have a hard time doing a daily devotion. Whether it is because of time constraints, responsibilities or just loss of interest, it seems having a guide helps to keep me on track.
Enter Bountiful Blessings by Susie Larson. A delightful creative devotional. With a short passage of scripture and devotional passage, there is also lovely illustrations for you to color in. This sweet little book takes only a few minutes to read, and allows you to unwind by drawing at your leisure. A wonderful way to set aside some of the hard things in life and remember God is with you and wants to encourage you along life's way. This little book would make a great gift for a new wife, a busy Mom, or a lonely senior.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the publisher. All views expressed are my honest opinion
My thoughts on this book are going to be very concise and to the point.
Basically, here are the two key thoughts I have:
1. This is more of a benediction than a devotional. It pretty much starts with the words: “May the Lord…” etc.
The devotionals are more reassurances.
I like how Susie focuses on the love of God.
This is more of a benediction than a devotional. One thing that I don’t like as much, is that it’s not overly substantial for a purely devotional book. I wouldn’t want to use just this with my Bible reading in the morning.
2. I love the coloring pages.
They are beautifully designed pages, and they are so far a lot of fun to color.
NOTE: I received a copy of this book from Bethany House in exchange for my honest review, which I’ve given. A positive review wasn’t required.
Bountiful Blessings Is a wonderful coloring book that goes way beyond my expectations. The book starts off with Scripture. 1st Chronicles 4:10 - it sets the tone for the whole book. It was on the dedication page. Then it goes into other Scripture labeling them as to what it was for like, "you will overcome, psalm 85:8". Then it writes out the Scripture for you - then the author tells you what they think about that Scripture - a one liner. Then you get the pictures to color which are magnificent. I will say they are too intricate for children though. Enjoy totally. I received a copy of this book from the Publisher and Netgalley; all of the opinions expressed in this review are all my own.

In Bountiful Blessings: A Creative Devotional Experience by Susie Larson, a super easy-to-read and understand devotional, I found the Scripture quotations to be my favorite aspect of the book. The blessings are written in an Irish style and are like having a sugary snack while you read your favorite book—not a lot of nutrition to nourish the body but just enough to make you hungry for something meatier. It’s good for a short respite with its beautiful illustrations by Carolyn Williams that will provide hours of coloring enjoyment.
I received a paperback copy from the publisher. I was not required to write a review. No compensation has been received.
We are currently living through such frightening times. It is easy to feel helpless and to worry. Breaking that cycle can be so important.
Bountiful Blessings was published a few years ago but offers a moment of daily reflection that may be helpful in re-centering today. In addition to a short reading, there are pictures to color. This is a good combination as coloring is another activity that helps to stop racing minds.
Bethany House, this book’s publisher, is a Christian one. That said, this title may be helpful to those of different faiths.
Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher. All opinions are my own.
If you are looking for more of an outlet for coloring or creative worship and less a devotion, this is a good choice. The illustrations are lovely and intricately detailed. I could "lose myself" for an hour enjoying the coloring of these illustrations.
If you were looking for a more "meaty" or meaningful devotional, this probably isn't your best choice. The devotions, are sweet and relevant, but do not offer much in the way of insight or Bible knowledge.
I really wanted to love this book. I do like it, but it was not what I was expecting and therefore, I can't rate it higher.
