Lexxie Couper knows how to write an erotic romance story and mix it with a little suspense. And, I adore that she also knows how to mix a little bit of fun in her stories as well.
Lucas and Ronnie were not only special together, they were actually funny at times. I loved he protectiveness and her responses to same. Then there was Fluffy … still don’t know why he’s called that but he is nowhere near what you would think of as a “Fluffy”. I guess that’s Lexxie’s sense of humor coming through. Between the three of them, I had laugh-out-loud moments, times when I was scared and some very happy moments as well. When Ronnie’s parents were brought into the story, I couldn’t help but smile again. Then there was Mr. and Mrs. Underwood … when they came into the story, I laughed. They are brought in at the most intense part of the story and back and forth between them all couldn’t have been funnier. Sorry, I know it was supposed to be a serious situation but I couldn’t help but chuckle at the timing of it all. Maybe it’s just my sick sense of humor?
So, all in all, I enjoyed Bad Boy in Cuffs. You have to hand it to Lexxie Couper. She knows how to write an erotic scene, a comical scene, a serious scene and bring them all together cohesively. Bad Boy In Cuffs may have been a short story but it was action packed, out and in the bedroom. Can we please have Fluffy’s story now?
