A super-solid explanation and walk-through of 1 Peter. I bought this book because I am deeply concerned about where our nation is headed. This book helped me to understand how Peter's contemporaries were living in perilous times too. Much worse, actually. Also Stuart sometimes interprets Peter's words by remembering his interactions with Christ and how Jesus shaped Peter in spite of all his shortcomings. Very powerful insights. I have more hope and conviction to stay on the path to maturity until I am with Him.
